so a while back i watched this vertical drama but now I can't find it anywhere. It was when i recently started watching vertical dramas and i didn't know that they get deleted off Youtube and to download them :(

Story: set in retro (40s,50s,60s,70s,80s) countryside. young FL sets eyes on ML (young soldier / an educated youth) and notices (i can't fully remember if it was because she transmigrated or was reborn) that he is likely rich and can help her elevate her life. FL fully knows and understands that he likely can't marry her because of his family background (well off family in the city) so her intentions are to just get what she can while he is in the village and let him go. FL starts perusing ML and asking him to do things for her (like tutor her). ML interprets this as her liking him and says they should start dating. This wasn't part of FL's initial plan but she sees the value and goes along with this because it benefits her.

This dating continues for a while, FL tries to seduce ML several times, but he continues to push her away and resist. He's a very pure hearted guy and only kisses her etc. She even strips down in front of him, pushes him against a wall or cupboard and he still doesn't go through with it. He does crack when he's going back home to his family - but also promises to return to marry her.
The ML ends up going to war as a soldier, but doesn't abandon the girl. His family doesn't go propose like he told them to and FL thinks that is just the end of their time together. She is kinda bummed out but isn't heartbroken - again because she thought he would never be able to marry her in the end anyway. The ML stays steadfast and we see the couple get back together at the end. There was a brief insinuation that the ML get her pregnant, but we don't see the baby as she was still in early stages of pregnancy when the drama ends.

Notes: i remember that it was often mentioned that the FL was still young - likely because she hadn't finished the basic schooling / she was below the usual age that it would be acceptable to be dating/ getting married - but it was clear the the FL wasn't a child! the FL also often had her hair in 2 pigtails (unless it was down and she was seducing the ML). The FL isn't trying to escape her family - she isn't abused by them or anything.

I've searched everywhere desperately and checked almost every listing i could find that seemed to correlate. I hope it rings a bell for you and you can point me in the right direction. Even if i can't watch it again - i just want to know it actually existed and i wasn't crazy.

Hello, i came here after first trying on my own to find the drama but no luck so far 😭. I had it saved in watch later but now removed from YouTube and it was one of the first few short dramas i watched when I started watching vertical dramas.

So I don't remember the name of the FL and at first thought it was Chen lu xi because I remember the fl's face being distinct and I checked the drama listed under Chen lu xi but no luck now i doubt if it is even Chen lu xi or maybe someone who looks like her or has that kind of distinct face, and for ML i don't know who it is, i do remember some key points.

Regarding the FL

1. The Fl was in a relationship with scumbag but at the start of the drama she breaks up with him because the scumbag is involved with some other women.

2. The FL is a ballet dancer but the scumbag and his family didn't like her doing it so forced her to stop. Or continued but mostly as a ballet teacher, and maybe the FL had injury(i really forgot).

3. The FL meets the ML in a party right at the start, but I forgot if it was before or after breaking up with the scumbag.

4. The Fl's elder brother is friends with ML from school time and knows that ML likes his sister and was even supportive of it.

5. The FL enters into a marriage with ML right after breaking up with the scumbag

Now regarding the ML i don't remember much except these.

1. At the party where he meets FL at the start, he wore a white/beige coloured suit

2. The ML is rich and from a top elite family

3. The ML wore a Buddhist bead bracelet in the drama

4. The ML had a crush on FL from long before

5. The ML's family name was either Fu or Gu, but most probably Fu

Now the scenes that I remember

1. There was a scenes where FL joins a ballet teaching academy or something or maybe returns to it, but the jealous toxic woman who is involved with the scumbag opens up a academy too, to compete with the FL and even uses dirty trick to slander Fl's academy but the ML helps her out of it.

2. Another scene where after getting married to ML, the FL overhers the ML talking to either his father or grandmother about her, where the grandfather(most likely) says something about her doing ballet but the ML says "She is her own person and I don't own her so i support her and that doing ballet is not shameful" then the grandfather agrees to what he said.

One thing tho, I lean heavily towards fl doing ballet but it could just be normal dance.

That's all I remember unfortunately, so if anyone remembers watching this or has even a little bit of idea about it please tell, would really appreciate it. Thank you
