Rejected / Not Acceptable Examples for Titles (Philippines)
Contents
The following images must not be used as the main cover image for Philippines titles. These submissions will be rejected even if they are commonly seen online, displayed on platforms, or widely reposted.
All general rejection rules apply as described in the Global Rejected / Not Acceptable Examples section. The cases below highlight Philippines-specific issues that commonly cause incorrect submissions.
Philippine Market Identity Violations
Rejected examples include:
International, export, or overseas marketing posters used in place of Philippine promotional visuals
Festival posters replacing Philippine domestic posters when local materials exist
Platform pickup posters (e.g., Netflix, international distributors) that override the original Philippine release identity
This applies even if:
The film or drama gained popularity overseas
The international version is more widely circulated online
The platform poster appears more polished or modern
If a Philippine promotional visual exists, it must be used as the main cover.
Anniversary, Re-Release, and Retrospective Posters
Rejected examples include:
Anniversary posters
Remastered or restored edition visuals
Retrospective, commemorative, or “throwback” designs
Later platform rebranding posters that replace original release visuals
These materials do not represent the title’s original public identity and must not replace the primary Philippine promotional poster when one exists.
Character-Focused and Love-Team Posters Used Incorrectly
Rejected examples include:
Character posters
Actor-specific promotional images
Love-team visuals released as supplementary marketing
Cast-focused images used in place of the official main title poster
These images may be official, but they are not valid main covers unless they were clearly designated and used as the primary promotional poster for the title.
Main covers must represent the entire production, not a single character, pairing, or cast subset.
Logo-Only Covers Used without Justification
Rejected examples include:
Program logos used when an official poster or key visual exists
Modified, stylized, or reconstructed logos
Logos extracted from banners, headers, or platform UI elements
Logos may be used only when:
No official poster or key visual exists for the title, and
The logo itself is clean, official, and represents the program as a whole
Convenience does not justify logo substitution.
Unofficial Cover Rotation Based on Format or Host Changes
Rejected examples include:
Changing covers due to:
Host replacements
Cast updates
Concept refreshes
Studio or branding redesigns
A cover may be changed only when:
A new main promotional visual is officially released and adopted by the broadcaster or production
Routine format or personnel changes do not automatically justify replacing the main cover image.
