Not mid-30s, but certainly "older" for an actor who plays a teenager for so much of the story.

Also not mid-30s but honestly I was expecting to see that he was in his early 20s when I pulled up his details and was pleasantly surprised to see that he is actually 30+. 

Nothing against the young ones, but it's a bit comforting every time a 30+ actor gets to be the lead. Especially if their co-lead isn't way younger (she's 27, in this case).
