These are my personal favorites thus far in this category and I know there are SOOO much more than this but these are a serious time investment with most of them being 40+ episodes. So grab your tissues and popcorn hunny because it will definitely be a bumpy ride but worth it at the end. The rewatch value on all of these are HIGH for ME. The acting is great, the visuals are great, the vocals are great (OST), from the directing to the cast, these have become my favorites.

Chinese fantasy has a special place in my heart and when done right I can easily sacrifice 40+ hours of my life watching a good drama. (if I can make it past the 5th episode in these I consider it a win) but these captivate throughout the entire story..ENJOY

1. Ashes of Love

My very FIRST chinese Fantasy drama and really where I fell in love with the category and I know I said these are in no particular order but I subconciously included this as Number 1 because it was that special. It is an older drama but it has been watched BILLIONS of times apparently so do yourself a favor and give it a go. You will love it and if you love this you will love the rest as well.
The male lead in this unfortunately went through some tax issues so he is MIA from the acting world so if you are crushing on him it may be hard to find any recent works since he may be banned. Nevertheless the actors are elite (Yang Zi and DL are a wonderful/ beautiful combo almost making us want them to be together in real life - but this is fake people! HA)
