GL Dramas and Movies That Are Actually Gay

It's not worth it just for the GL. It doesn't really focus on it.

It's not about a relationship, but the main is a lesbian.

Soljiwan CARRIED the entire drama. I really tried to watch the whole drama, not just the Soljiwan stuff, but the main couple is SO insufferable and the ending was pretty disappointing. But Soljiwan are endgame so who cares ultimately. 

apparently the leads are played by actual sisters. eeww why? why?!

Is it gay? Yes. Is it good? No.

Not worth it. It has the "classic" trope of character is a "lesbian" because she was assaulted by men and then when she heals from her trauma she becomes straight again. 

You don't need to watch the first two to watch the third episode (which is the only explicitly GL one.) The second ep sorta gives me vibes, but it's not actually GL.

This is mostly about the BL couple (maybe 70/30). And they left out one of the girls in the GL couple for like half the movie.

It's mainly about the main character struggling with her asexuality. There is some GL, but it isn't the main focus.

It isn’t technically GL, but it sure is homoerotic. You’re not missing out on much if you don’t watch this.

Not worth it. Only the 3rd one has any semblance of GL. Nothing actually happens, she just talks about a past relationship.

There are a bunch of different storylines in this show, so it isn't all GL.

Not worth it. This is all about the dysfunctional married couple. KBS can only come up with one GL plot and it's girl is in love with best friend and best friend is in love with mutual guy friend. 

Also the acting and dialogue in the climax are so cringey.

Not worth it. The story is about other things and it probably makes up less then 5 minutes of the runtime.

I didn't like this series, it didn't make me root for them.  That's just my opinion though. You should watch it and make up your own mind about it.

Season 2 will come out in early 2025, HOPEFULLY. I've been waiting since like June 2023.

Only episode 10 is GL, and it's so cute!

Not really worth it just for the GL. The main character's sexuality is a big part of this movie, but this isn't about the relationship. It's still worth the watch.

It's GL, but it's censored. They're practical together, it just isn't said. It's supposed to be getting a second season, but there hasn't been any news in a while.

Not worth it. BYG out of NOWHERE. You can watch their scenes on youtube. Search "My school bully is also my secret lover."

Not worth watching 77 episodes for. But their scenes are very cute especially for 2015.

They're side characters, so they're not in the show a ton. It's on youtube (channel: GMMTV Official) so it's pretty easy to scrub through to find just their scenes.

This one is GL despite what that one comments says. It's like a decent amount of the show.

Only episode 3 is GL.

I think the comments make it seem worse than it is. I will say I hated the ending.

This is FreenBecky's first appearance together, but I'd say that's the only draw to watching it. It's not worth it just for the GL since they aren't shown that much. 

They are also in quite a few other project together: GAP the Series, Uranus2324, The Loyal Pin, and Cranium (airing in 2026).

[Jin x Manni]

Not worth it, they're like the 3rd couple and they barely get screen time. Also, they were only vaguely confirmed in the end.
