My very first makjang experience. I can totally see why this franchise caught everyone by storm when it aired. The first season was hectic to say the least, the actors delivered and the OST is one of the best ones I have heard in kdramas.

Started off strong, I liked the first half and how Han Young decided to fix his past mistakes and fight back against corruption and injustice. However, as the story went on, it lost its momentum. The battle between Ha Young and Sin Jin could have been explored more and some characters needed more development.

One of the best kdramas of 2026. Moving story, which delved into a very sensitive real life case. The writers handled it with care and they didn't shy away from portraying the corruption of the justice system at the time. Masterclass of performances by the main leads, the chemistry was insane. Loved the OST and the production was stellar.

Having watched Season 1, I understand where the hype comes from. The action scenes were gripping and I liked the fight choreographies but the heart of the series was definitely the relationship between the characters, particularly Gun Woo and Woo Jin. The last two episodes were less interesting though, I was kinda bored at times towards the ending.

Ambitious script, lackluster execution. This story should have been longer, eight episodes were far too few in order to properly explore all the themes and events. The characters were interesting but Prosecutor Cha wasn't that compelling compared to the male characters and as for Woo Gyeom, he could have been more fleshed out.

Given the hype, it was very underwhelming. The first episodes were interesting but the story lost me later on. The characters weren't interesting enough for me in order to care for them, they were rather superficial. The acting was good given that most actors were rookies, although some aspects regarding their emotions and expressions could have been better. The horror elements lost their initial charm after a while and the jumpscares didn't affect me.

Entertaining, I understand why it created such a big uproar when it had been released. But the second half was less engaging and the romance, albeit good, didn't move me that much. Something felt kinda lackluster in terms of chemistry at times. The villains were very interesting and their acting was good.

One of the most interesting thrillers this year. Both main leads were great in terms of performances and their chemistry was one of the best aspects in the series. In terms of story, it started off strong but the pacing dragged later on and the story felt too stretched even for a 10 episodes series. It could have been handled better. The characterisation also fell flat at times, I would have liked a better approach for Moon Jae specifically.
