Favourite (b)romances
Bromances but the b was silent (sorta, kinda).
This list consists of media that aren't explicitly queer but might have queer undertones...or the characters had insane chemistry that I interpreted it as something more. That doesn't involve media which were an adaptation of a queer story but due to censorship, the queer elements were removed/toned down.

1. Beyond Evil
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
Dongsik and Joowon have ruined kdramas for me because I'll always compare their chemistry with other couples, canon or not. I could talk about them for hours. Or days.

2. Strangers from Hell
Korean Drama - 2019, 10 episodes
Moonjo's obsession with Jongwoo should have been studied.

3. Black Out
Korean Drama - 2024, 14 episodes
Sangcheol and Jeongwoo are one of the most underrated bromances out there. I loved the development of their relationship, especially from Sangcheol's part who not only agreed to help Jeongwoo but cared for him unconditionally.

4. The Merciless
Korean Movie - 2017
The queer undertones were more than clear enough. Pure age gap yaoi.

5. Weak Hero Class 1
Korean Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
Yeah, we can all tell that Suho was Sieun's first love.
