  • Pursuit of Jade

    1. Pursuit of Jade

    Chinese Drama - 2026, 40 episodes

    10

Despite its flaws, this drama has a chokehold on me. It excels where it matters most—its characters, relationships, and emotional journey. The visuals are beautiful, the cinematography is stunning, the characters are charming, the OSTs are memorable, and so much more. The story delivers a heartfelt experience about love, family, and belonging that stays impactful long after it ends. This drama has made it into my top three favorite costume dramas.

  • Dream of Golden Years

    2. Dream of Golden Years

    Chinese Drama - 2026, 36 episodes

    9.0

This drama delivers a satisfying and heartwarming second chance story with a unique twist, fast pacing, and a strong sense of growth. Xia Xiao Lan’s journey feels empowering as she takes control of her new life like she has a cheat sheet, supported by engaging characters, warm family dynamics, and a standout performance by Zhou Ye. While a few plot points feel exaggerated, they don’t take away from the overall experience, which remains comforting, immersive, and genuinely fulfilling.

  • Veil of Shadows

    3. Veil of Shadows

    Chinese Drama - 2026, 29 episodes

  • Love between Lines

    4. Love between Lines

    Chinese Drama - 2026, 28 episodes

    8.5

In love with the visuals! The quality is insane, and the color palette is well thought out. The actors were amazing, and the characters were memorable, although I sometimes found Hu Xiu distasteful.

  • Love Story in the 1970s

    5. Love Story in the 1970s

    Chinese Drama - 2026, 29 episodes

    8.5

This is a very warm drama. I appreciate how they paid attention to the details of the sets, costumes, and more. The story is well-written, and the pacing was great too! The actors did a wonderful job. All the characters were memorable and had their own arcs. I do find Fei Ni and Fan Mu Yang’s early poverty a bit uncomfortable to watch.

  • Perfect Crown

    6. Perfect Crown

    Korean Drama - 2026, 12 episodes

  • Sunsets Secrets Regrets

    7. Sunsets Secrets Regrets

    Chinese Drama - 2026, 28 episodes

    8.0

Despite a confusing start and an underwhelming, rushed ending, it remains an enjoyable watch for its gripping middle, engaging psychological investigations, and strong character chemistry that keeps you invested. The drama shines when its cases and emotional stakes align, with standout performances elevating even its weaker writing choices, and while the romance and love triangle can feel absurd or frustrating at times, they still add warmth and depth to the story. It is ultimately an imperfect but enjoyable watch that balances intrigue, emotion, and just enough payoff to outweigh its flaws.

  • Vanished Name

    8. Vanished Name

    Chinese Drama - 2026, 31 episodes

    7.5

This drama feels like a beautifully written novel trapped in a slightly confused mystery series. It excels in atmosphere, poetic narration, and painfully real mother daughter dynamics that hit harder than any plot twist, but the investigation itself is more wild goose chase than Sherlock Holmes, with logic taking a backseat until a rushed and rather absurd finale. Add in the jarring actor transitions and a few miscasts, and while the emotional core stays strong, the mystery payoff just doesn’t quite earn its ending, leaving me impressed, frustrated, and only half satisfied.

  • Bloody Flower

    9. Bloody Flower

    Korean Drama - 2026, 8 episodes

    7.5

The suspense and mystery kept me invested! While Ryeo Un and Sung Dong Il did a wonderful job, some of the other actors are still a work in progress. I felt engaged in trying to solve the mystery, though there were a few minor logic gaps. The ending was predictably ambiguous.

  • The Art of Sarah

    10. The Art of Sarah

    Korean Drama - 2026, 8 episodes

    7.5

It is stylish, intriguing, and elevated by Shin Hye Sun’s outstanding performance, but the story itself feels more surface-level than it promises. While the premise of identity, deception, and social climbing is compelling, the investigation lacks tension, some plot developments feel underwhelming, and the drama does not fully explore the complexity of its main character. The open ending, especially the decision to withhold Sarah’s true identity, also feels more frustrating than impactful. Overall, it is visually polished and engaging enough to keep you watching, but it falls short of delivering the depth and payoff it hints at.

  • Phantom Lawyer

    11. Phantom Lawyer

    Korean Drama - 2026, 16 episodes

  • Eight Hundred

    12. Eight Hundred

    Chinese Drama - 2026, 20 episodes

  • Unveil: Jadewind

    13. Unveil: Jadewind

    Chinese Drama - 2026, 34 episodes

    7.5

While it is visually beautiful, female-driven, and has an interesting dark investigative premise with a slow burn romance, the drama struggles with pacing, anticlimactic reveals, inconsistent character motivations, and an ending that feels rushed and slightly unfinished. Many cases start strong but lose impact in the resolution, the constant twists become exhausting rather than exciting, and some character arcs and emotional payoffs don’t fully land. It’s a drama with a great atmosphere and strong ideas, but uneven execution makes it more interesting than truly satisfying overall.

  • Honour

    14. Honour

    Korean Drama - 2026, 12 episodes

    6.0

While the drama is engaging, full of twists, and has strong chemistry between the three female leads, the writing becomes messy and inconsistent as the story progresses. The early episodes are gripping and the central mystery is interesting, but later plot developments feel exaggerated, some character shifts are abrupt, and there are noticeable logic gaps, especially for a legal drama with very few actual courtroom scenes. The ending is realistic but not very satisfying, and the story loses momentum in the final stretch. Overall, it is entertaining and bingeable, but the uneven writing and execution prevent it from being truly great.

  • The Imperial Coroner Season 2

    15. The Imperial Coroner Season 2

    Chinese Drama - 2026, 28 episodes

    6.0

While it retains the charm, humor, and engaging investigative elements of the first season, it lacks the same emotional weight and narrative impact. The shift to married life softens the romantic tension, making the story feel sweeter but less exciting, while the central conflict and main antagonist are not built up strongly enough to deliver a satisfying payoff. Some character arcs and emotional moments feel rushed or underdeveloped, and the overall structure comes across more like an extended continuation than a compelling sequel. It remains enjoyable and easy to watch, but ultimately feels lighter, less cohesive, and less memorable than its predecessor.

  • Love beyond the Grave

    16. Love beyond the Grave

    Chinese Drama - 2026, 40 episodes

    6.0

While it shows flashes of potential, it ultimately feels like a story that never fully comes together. The early intrigue, unique concept of borrowed senses, and impressively executed battle scenes, especially with Chen Fei Yu at his best, kept me watching, but the drama quickly loses its grip once the mystery fades. What follows is inconsistent writing, underdeveloped arcs, and a romance that feels more forced than earned, despite Dilraba Dilmurat delivering a solid performance as He Si Mu. Add to that the uneven worldbuilding, lack of emotional connection, and missed potential in its characters, and it lands in that frustrating middle ground: not bad enough to drop, but not compelling enough to truly enjoy.

  • Generation to Generation

    17. Generation to Generation

    Chinese Drama - 2026, 37 episodes

    6.0

I understand that the story spans generations, but the execution felt too chaotic. The scene cuts were obvious and awkward, with a few logic gaps here and there. The cinematography leaned a bit too dramatic at times, especially with those wind-blown, face-forward shots. The push and pull dynamic between the two leads was also exhausting.

  • Boyfriend on Demand

    18. Boyfriend on Demand

    Korean Drama - 2026, 10 episodes

    5.5

This feels more like a commercial or a music video than a drama. The story and scenes feel superficial, and Jisoo’s acting comes across as awkward. It’s obvious that some of the other actors are more experienced than she is. If it weren’t for her being the female lead and having so many scenes, she could easily be overshadowed. P.S. I’m a BLINK, but I’m just being objective.
