dramas in my watchlist that I regret wasting my time with

These are titles I simply wish I'd dropped early on because the more I think about them, the worse they get in my mind. Yes, these bring variety to my completed watchlist because majority of the stuff there are rated 8-9 and mostly an 8.5 because I'm a dull little bitch-- but that doesn't matter. I DO NOT want to waste my precious time on dramas that don't deserve it.

  • Hwarang

    1. Hwarang

    Korean Drama - 2016, 20 episodes

    6.0

What even was this? Each time a year passes since I've watched it, it somehow gets worse in my mind to the point that it's plain shit now. Literally. Probably the worst drama I've ever watched. I was fresh off of dramas like Strong Woman Do Bong Soon and Fight For My Way, so you KNOW I was biased because of the cast. BIG MISTAKE. This is a pathetic and oversaturated drama with terribly unlikable characters, stupid situations and... What even was this?

My rating contradicts my words, I know. But I don't want it show up on the top of my latest update list on my profile, so... Whatever. In my head, it's a 0/10.

  • Dear.M

    2. Dear.M

    Korean Drama - 2022, 12 episodes

    4.0

Well, my sister forced me to watch this because she's a huge fan of NCT's Jaehyun and his chunky ass acting-- ehem, anyways. Besides that, I was quite a fan of the Love Playlist series on Youtube, which is its prequel, so I had expectations.

Bitch, no. This was just plain bad. I cared about NONE of it. In fact, I don't remember anything much about it except for how bad it was. Truly one of those dramas that are only meant to be watched by the fans of the K-pop idol it stars.

  • Wedding Impossible

    3. Wedding Impossible

    Korean Drama - 2024, 12 episodes

    7.5

This was just plain disappointing. Followed by the first good couple episodes, the second half was terrible. Just beyond salvation. Way too much stupid shit was happening, and where did the chemistry go off to all of a sudden? I've never seen a drama where the leads have chemistry at first, but then they suddenly don't anymore at one point of the drama.

Should've rated it a 5/10. Ugh, maybe I should stop rating dramas right after completing them.

  • No Gain, No Love

    4. No Gain, No Love

    Korean Drama - 2024, 12 episodes

    8.0

I have sort of the same feelings about this drama as I do for Wedding Impossible. Both of these 12-episode romcoms promise a lot of harmless fun to it viewers at first, but then they both ended up taking themselves way too damn seriously than they should've. The leads didn't have chemistry for most of it, the FL's character was a wasted potential, and the ML was... well, let's just say he was there.

I see that I've rated it an 8, but again, this one also keeps getting worse in my head. 6/10.

  • Rich Man

    5. Rich Man

    Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes

    6.0

What the fuck is this doing in my completed watchlist anyway?

  • My Name

    6. My Name

    Korean Drama - 2021, 8 episodes

    6.5

I hate how much people praise this drama. The best thing about it was the evil guy, literally. I feel like I would've hated it less if it weren't for the forced ass romance though. Zero fucking chemistry, and yet you wanted me to believe these two bitches would die for each other pffftttt. It was silly little plot device that they used for a climactic moment, which also didn't work out well AT ALL in my books.

  • A Shoulder to Cry On

    7. A Shoulder to Cry On

    Korean Drama - 2023, 7 episodes

    7.0

I remember hyping this one up quite a bit before it aired. But now that I think about it, we didn't need this drama honestly. There are better dull K-BLs than this.

  • My ID Is Gangnam Beauty

    8. My ID Is Gangnam Beauty

    Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes

    7.0

I think I've sacrificed a LOT of time in my life on shitty dramas, thanks to my sister.

  • Falling into You

    9. Falling into You

    Chinese Drama - 2022, 26 episodes

    7.5

Gina Jin deserves better MLs because if I had a nickel for the amount of times she had an undeserving ass ML opposite her, I'd have two nickels-- which isn't a lot, but it should've been ZERO because she's amazing. She needs a baddie who can handle her. (In case of Why Women Love, it's the actor. That guy SUCKS at acting.)

The ML (the character, no hate to the actor) of this drama is one of the worst fucking MLs I've ever watched. Annoying, obnoxious, immature beyond belief, manipulative-- and just plain pathetic. The double standards and sexist tendencies in viewers are very VERY apparent when it comes to this drama. Y'all are so quick to call FLs annoying, but when a ML is an incessant dumbass, y'all are like "awwww he's so cute and devoted awwww" SHUT THE FUCK UP!
