2025 - Finished Dramas/TV Shows
SPOILERS FOR EACH DRAMA/TV SHOW BELOW (It's just my own opinion after watching)
-
1. Siren: Survive the Island
Korean TV Show - 2023, 10 episodes
10/01/25 - 12/01/25
It was alright. At the beginning I wasn't enjoying it that much, but then when I got to 4 +- I got more used to it. I guess I was expecting more different matches but it was almost always the "take the flag" game lol I liked the team that won, them and the firefighters were my favourite ones, they were charismatic lol I also had such a crush on the two athletes with short hair lol
Anyway, always great to see strong women and it was nice to have a concept focused on female professionals in male dominated jobs and stuff. Overall, it was alright/ok, had to watch this one on 1.5x speed but if there is a season 2 of this I might watch it as well, hopefully they make changes that make it more engaging as well.

2. Family Matters
Korean Drama - 2024, 6 episodes
13/01/25
Weird but interesting drama with morally grey characters. It was different, so I like that aspect of it. I would have changed some stuff (especially with the last ep) but I liked it overall.
I hate that "respect/love your parents even though they're shit", that lady was not their mom like wtf? "Oh she raised you" more like kidnapped me and kept me captive. Should have just killed her. I wish they did not show the SA and r**** scenes so much and in such an explicit manner idk, felt a bit like "let's show this to shock people" since they kept showing the scenes and photos over and over again.
I think the detective actor was a bit like "I'm acting" sometimes lol Last ep was kinda underwhelming imo, and it dragged, I think it's because I did not care for those two villain kids, so when they took such a long time with the kids fighting them + the grandpa fighting that dude I was just like, can we get on with it lol The main villain was also kinda so over the top lol Talking about over the top, ok I get that they're evil and pretending to be catholic, can u stop saying amen and hallelujah every sentence lol I enjoyed the 5 first eps more than the last one, but like I said, still a nice drama I think. It was a very sad reveal that she was the one that made her husband protect her at all costs T_T but at least he does truly love her.
So yeah, hope season 2 releases soon because it ended on a cliffhangerrr T_T If the plan was hers then she must have used her powers on herself somehow to make her forget or something? Also maybe grandpa is a mole? Since he stopped her from killing the shitty mom. I hope we see the twins' powers properly as well. -
3. Elite League
Korean TV Show - 2023, 8 episodes
10/01/25 - 14/01/25
I liked it, the challenges were very fun to watch~ I was cheering for the SNU team lol My favourite was the dude who had a perfect score on the CSAT.
Thought Team Harvard would be better, ngl, they were the weakest team.
The round at the end of ep6, the one at the end of ep7 and then the final ep were so nerve-racking omg lol The scream I let out once the team I was rooting for won lool
Glad the 2 final teams were those ones~ I would have liked Yonsei to have been the third team instead of Harvard but I'll take what I can get lol -
4. When the Phone Rings
Korean Drama - 2024, 12 episodes
15/01/25 - 17/01/25
Cliche: the k-drama. The plot was very weak tbh and very dumb at times lol It was entertaining in the way a bad soap opera is entertaining. Characters making dumb decisions all around especially the FL omg she was so dumbbbb and on top of that she also had this constant look on her face that made it seem like she was in pain all the time (cara de sonsa total), she just annoyed me a lot. Twists were predictable. Some moments made me cringe so hard. I think almost everyone acted well, the only person I can think of rn that I did not like the acting of most of the time was the main girl.
I shipped the main couple and I liked and shipped the SML and SFL (kinda fell in love with her, she was so cute, hope the actress gets a main role soon), even though they didn't have that much to do in the story, but that's about it, I would not recommend this to people unless u want something short to turn your brain off to lol There are way better dramas out there, this one is for when you wanna enjoy a fanfic, but even if you wanna just focus on the couple, u still gotta sit through the dumb plot. They could have spent less time on some stuff and focused on giving the second couple more development, so it would not be so abrupt that they're getting married at the end. We did not even get a hug like wtf? They had so much chemistry.
Can't believe the dude's mom got a TV in her prison cell lol FL's mom suddenly caring was shit, random redemption for everyone in her family at the end like what? And what a stupid-ass finale. Wow. -
5. Elite League Season 2
Korean TV Show - 2024, 8 episodes
15/01/25 - 29/01/25
It was great to watch~ I feel this season had a bit more pressure than last season lol
The two teams I liked the most went to the finals and I'm glad Team Yonsei was the third team this season, since I was sad that they were not last time lol I'm happy with the team that won, it was well deserved, I did feel sorry for KAIST though, I liked their team, I wish they could have gone to Round 3 instead of losing on Round 2 T_T When they started to cry, I cried with them ngl, I felt really bad :(
I think the challenges were more difficult this season lol Def still a great reality show, I was very entertained, I'll watch season 3! Loved watching the interviews, behind the scenes and commentaries with the teams from season 1 and season 2 as well~ -
6. The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call
Korean Drama - 2025, 8 episodes
13/02/25 - 14/02/25
So, it's very cliche and dramatic imo lol It's not bad per se, it's just average/alright, more of the same basically, this drama isn't something new.
I didn't like the fact that the dude couldn't bother calling people by their name, the "nickname" he gave to the other doctor was just mean imo, and at the end when he finally called him by his name he was like "because you finally earned it" like excuse me? Earned it? That was so dumb.
For the glasses doctor, I think the actor sometimes exaggerates and that takes me out of the scene (so much yelling and him freaking out). Talking about taking me out of the scene, everytime they wanna show how awesome the ML is, I cringe, it's so forced T_T And they spent a lot of time doing that at least on the first 3 eps, then they toned it down a little, thank God.
So yeah, it got a bit better by the end, but it's still a generic show. I did get some entertainment out of it, but I won't think of this drama too much tbh, it didn't stand out.

7. Black Out
Korean Drama - 2024, 14 episodes
19/12/24 - 19/02/25
Frustration: the kdrama. Almost every single person in this drama is annoying and gross af, I hate everyone.
ML's behaviour was tiring, he didn't stand up for himself most of the time, he just took all the hate. Annoying scooter girl was so...nothing? As a character. She's literally only there to be nosy to help the plot move forward sometimes, she's not a fleshed out character, so she ended up being annoying even though she's supposed to be on the good side, didn't really care for her.
This drama could have been way shorter imo, maybe 8 or 10 eps max, it was tiring just sitting there and hating the prolonged scenes focused on the evil people, which is almost everyone, all the time. It dragged. Some things about the ending were kinda underwhelming tbh, I feel like justice wasn't fully served. But at least the dude feels satisfied with that so that's nice I guess. ML and cop had chemistry, ngl lol
So yeah I would not really recommend watching this drama, I feel like it induces so much anger and annoyance (at least it did for me) for it to not give a lot of satisfaction in its developments, and like I said, should have been even shorter.

8. Light Shop
Korean Drama - 2024, 8 episodes
18/03/25 - 19/03/25
Pretty good, I enjoyed it~ I was so hyped when I saw the post credit scenes lool I'm excited for the second season of Moving and the author's future adaptations (hopefully Timing)! Light Shop season 2 maybe ?
My favourite episodes were the first 2, they were the most focused on horror, and it was the type of horror I like. The one I liked the least was the third one lol I enjoyed the drama overall though~
I cried a lot on the last ep ngl lol And I cried a bit on ep7 as well. I think a thing that I would critique would be that I thought ep7 was cool and all but I think they over explained it lol like, I like subtle stuff and I like to think for myself so them just throwing the explanations at me, when I think it was cool to just let us understand by ourselves, was something that I didn't like. I also think the nurse was kinda meh sometimes.
Also, omg the detective with those sunglasses lol he looks so uncool lmao I hope they can find better glasses for him lol
Sad about the ending of the suitcase girl and the dude, they deserved better :( I hated the dude's mom, such a pos.
-
9. A Shop for Killers
Korean Drama - 2024, 8 episodes
19/03/25 - 21/03/25
All of the flashbacks were so much more interesting than the present stuff lol
I think the present stuff with her as a main after her uncle's death wasn't that great tbh, it was mostly kinda boring, the past was more engaging. I liked the lady and the master though, they were fun to watch fight and the lady is so cool! I really hope she didn't die :(
The fights were very well choreographed and the actors did well~
The twist of that psycho face hacker dude being evil was predictable and I didn't really care for. I found the bits with the villains talking about random shit in the present boring as well, and Jesus, that sniper guy yapped a LOT.
Overall, I liked it, and would watch a season 2, especially after the confirmation (because I had a suspicion lol) that her uncle is alive xD I just hope I like the stuff going on in the present a bit more, maybe now that she's gonna get more badass and that her uncle is back I can enjoy it more, idk lol
-
10. Karma
Korean Drama - 2025, 6 episodes
06/04/25 - 07/04/25
It was entertaining. I think it could have been even better, but it was nice, I enjoyed the ride. -
11. Connection
Korean Drama - 2024, 14 episodes
26/03/25 - 08/04/25
I reaaaaally didn't like the reporter, my God.
Drama was like, ok at best, until half of ep7. I just never got that invested, mainly stuck with it because I wanted to see the villains. Characters who were the "good guys" weren't really enjoyable to watch and sometimes it got boring.
The drug stuff with the drug dealers was boring, it was also boring to follow the reporter and the main guy investigating the drug stuff tbh. So it dragged.
The most interesting thing about this drama was the villain friend group, they were entertaining to watch and I feel like everyone acted well. I liked the dynamic so every scene with them scheming, be it alone or together (even though their scenes together were better) was great, that's the main thing that kept me going. It took until the ending of ep7 for stuff to finally get interesting. Then the drama actually grabbed me and I got invested in the plot, and even in the MC (even though the villains were still more entertaining lol). It was good.
Some complaints: Corrupt cop wasn't necessary to the plot, it was also just boring? Doctor was also kinda lame, didn't really vibe with him sometimes.
I think the ending bit could have been better. Doctor still made him addicted, that is something he will have to battle for his entire life. The confrontation with the CEO's dad was kinda eh. Why does everyone cave under pressure lol First the prosecutor just went off the rails and now the dad just also admitted it? They thought they could just say it because he was not recording? That's just naive imo. Wish the prosecutor didn't straight up die.
I didn't like the cheater wife until the end tbh. Didn't really care for the helping her move + watching the tape + cringe scene at the beach either. The very end with them finding out the password was fine though. But yeah, basically, from ep8 until half of ep14 it was good. Ending was on the weaker side. -
12. A Poem a Day
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
08/04/25 - 10/04/25
The team was annoying as shit wow. Especially glasses guy. Following the radiologists was also kinda boring and added nothing.
SML was rude and immature, he was an asshole to her for no reason before, then became tolerable a bit only to be even more of an asshole to her after finding out she was dating ML, so childish. I think they exaggerated with him and ended up making him annoying af, he could have had a good character development arc, but instead they made him like that and then suddenly "grown up" by the end.
It was also kinda frustrating how everyone kept mocking FL or being rude and the show treated it as comedy. The "funny" situations were not funny most of the time, she went through so many embarrassing things, be it by her assuming things or people just making shit hard for her. Then they wanted us to care for the characters they made unlikeable like? Suddenly because glasses guy has tough shit going on at home it is fine to do what he did to FL and the pos he is? Wake the fuck up.
I shipped the main couple a lot, I understand that some people didn't feel the chemistry, but I like couples like this so lol That was the main thing that made me keep going, because aside from the main coupleand me being a simp for the ML, this drama did not have much going on for it. They failed in making me care about anything else, and most things felt superficial either way.
Ep 12 was adorable and ep16 with him trying so hard was as well lol ML is so cute, I'm down bad lol
TLDR: Good points were the ML and the couple. Bad points were everything else really. Wasted potential of a drama, it could have been good. None of the characters had personal growth, which I thought sucked. Should have focused on being a romance then because that was the only redeeming thing here. I would not recommend watching it fully, I think it's better to just skip everything and just watch the scenes with the main leads, because they were super cute lol -
13. Tomorrow with You
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
10/04/25 - 11/04/25
Overall, I enjoyed it. The time travelling aspect had stuff that didn't make sense, there were def plot holes in the story, but I mostly didn't care lol I was in this for the couple, they were too cute. And dang the main actor is really charismatic lol
FL's "friend" was so annoying most of the time, I really don't know why they kept making FL meet up with her and kept that "friendship", she never even truly apologised.Let me say, ep10, with preventing the dude's death, stupid decisions were made all around imo. And at the end of the incident, why did they keep yelling for people like hello? Call the ambulance, you guys have phones??
I think the villain was very weak (maybe another actor would have done better to carry the weak role idk) and that aspect of the story was weak as well. The strong points were def the relationship of the main couple and their angst, watching the development of their relationship was nice. Some said they thought the drama was slow at the beginning, I don't think it was, the final eps were the ones that dragged imo, mainly because we had to sit there and watch the not so great sides of the drama which were the villain + that part of the plot and the time travel stuff which had plot holes lol Not even gonna start with the amount of stupid decisions made by characters because... phew.
Ending decisions made me maaaaad aaaaaaah. It was so frustrating lol I think things started going downhill a bit from ep14, and then ep15 was just bleh. Ep16 was a bit underwhelming, I wish they made the time apart shorter. I'm glad they got back together though!
TLDR: Plot and villain were weak, I think the ending could have been written better as well Drama also had things that did not make sense. I don't regret watching it though because the couple was very cute, loved watching the development of their relationship, they carried the drama lol -
14. A Familiar Stranger
Chinese Drama - 2022, 18 episodes
15/04/25
This was like a fanfic, but in a good way lmao I was not expecting much from it because it was so short, but the couple had chemistry and idk, it was just entertaining to watch lol And since it was short, shit got resolved quickly. Everyone acted well as well~
The sound design was kinda bad sometimes, especially on the first 2 eps. The ending was so dramatic lol Wish we got more episodes so they could go deeper in explaining the prince stuff and giving proper focus to the second couple too. Anyways, enjoyable show~ -
15. Study Group
Korean Drama - 2025, 10 episodes
18/04/25
Very webtoon lmao but it was enjoyable!
The teacher was a bit whatever, she got a bit better after getting stabbed, but still, I think I would have preferred another actress. She also had no power (not physical, but as a teacher and adult) most of the time, so it was kinda underwhelming to just watch her be thrown around and only saved thanks to the study group. I still don't like the friend's dad btw, he was abusive.
Sometimes the music was louder than the voices, it was a bit hard to hear. -
16. Marry My Husband
Korean Drama - 2024, 16 episodes
18/04/25 - 20/04/25
This was not very good. It was really like a soap opera lmao Enough to be cringe.
I wish another actor played the ML T_T
The misogyny in this made it hard to watch sometimes, Jesus.
Her "revenge" didn't reallly bring much satisfaction in watching, because most of the time, she did nothing. It was good to see the bad people get shit on though when it finally happened (took a while). Kinda wanted to see the second couple's proposal (with ML's sister and the dude who liked FL in HS).
U know, if he came back on that elevator scene, I wonder how he remembered what happened on ep1 with him helping her with the hot water and them eating together since that was changed from the original timeline...did he get new memories or something?
This could have been 12 eps max, that way they could have made the whole "pretending to be clueless while getting them together" scenes shorter, and we could have gotten more actual couple scenes + developing the relationship. They didn't need to introduce one more villain on ep12 just to get in the couple's way. And the whole fight between them... and then FL's mom? Like dang bro. Starting from ep12 it got extra annoying and dragged, by that ep I was just praying for the drama to end. -
17. Love Between Fairy and Devil
Chinese Drama - 2022, 36 episodes
20/04/25 - 21/04/25
I felt bad for SML and FL at the beginning :( They liked each other and could not be together. I liked the SML~ I did ship main couple a lot though lol So much angsttt I wish we had more happy moments between them at least at the end as an epilogue after he came back T_T but who am I kidding, it's xianxia lol I was cheering for them though!
SML's brother made me maaaad. ML's bro annoyed sometimes, like, I get him, but some of the stuff he did was gah lol Not that fond of the traitor friend tbh, she was kinda annoying as well.
The drama annoyed me and kinda bored me sometimes from ep20 until ep26, I wish the mortal world arc was shorter, some stuff could have been cut.
Anyways, overall it was a nice drama, I liked it and the couple had a lot of chemistry~ -
18. Love Between Fairy and Devil Special
Chinese Special - 2022, 2 episodes
21/04/25
-
19. Lovely Runner
Korean Drama - 2024, 16 episodes
24/04/25 - 25/04/25
Wish they got another actor as ML, this one wasn't bad, but he was not that good either, I feel like maybe another actor could have brought more to the role.
Didn't really care for the FL's bro + bff bits. I got tired of FL pushing the dude away multiple times ngl.
The drama should have been shorter, no need for 16 eps for a story that is just not that strong, 12 eps would have been enough, but since they put 16 eps, annoying stuff had to be included, so it dragged. From ep9-14, I did not enjoy it as much, it became a chore and I started to count the eps until the end (that's why my rating went down), especially ep13, that was the worst one. Ep11 had some funny scenes when they started dating, but that's about it. Ep15 was ok, and then at least the last ep was cute.
It's mostly a cliche light hearted drama, the plot points they tried implementing to make the plot more emotionally charged and "serious" did not really move me or have any angst value to me, the villain also sucked since it was just some random dude, no depth or personality, and there were some plot holes as well in regards to the rules of her time travelling, that's why I say this is one of those where you gotta just turn your brain off.
Also why could she suddenly see visions of the near future? Hello?? And she could only use the watch at midnight, how come on ep14 she used it not at that time? Some dumb decisions were made by the FL and ML throughout, but let me vent about ep13, that was the dumbest fucking episode, I was suffering having to sit through it.
It was entertaining until a certain point (until she went back on ep9), very sessão da tarde fun, then it just became tiring, then the last ep was cute. It's a basic drama, I would not really recommend it to people, although it was not fully bad. -
20. The Tale of Lady Ok
Korean Drama - 2024, 16 episodes
25/04/25 - 27/04/25
ML: Me and the bad bitch I pulled by being a loser kkkkk He was such a simp, but he was cute.
The drama became very novelão as it went kkkk
I liked the human rights aspect of the show and the LGBTQ+ plot as well, I was not expecting the husband to be gay. Loved the FL and her brother-in-law's relationship.
Idk why they made both the ML and the SML be played by the same actor without a proper explanation, it was a bit... If the reason were that they were twins separated at birth or something I could buy it, and it would serve the plot, but they just said "oh they just look alike" and that's it??
At the beginning I did not feel the chemistry between the leads, so what was supposed to be angst did not work for me and the other plot points were more interesting, the romance was bleh. The back and forth (of them reuniting, him saying come with me and her saying no like 4 times) that they had was also kinda tiring. Once the ML came back as her husband though, then they finally started to grow on me, they were a cute couple.Ep6 made me mad with how they decided to handle the case. People be too forgiving in this fucking show, it was a bit annoying. I also hated that traíra lady from the mom group, annoying.
After everything everyone went through, for the ML and the FL to drop the ball so hard on ep15. For ML to admit he was not her husband when it was not needed. And for FL to call her dad father and making all efforts everyone made go to shit. Friend of ML died :(((
I think there was another way to write ep15 and get them to that point of him being in prison and her being a slave again for the final revenge of ep16 without it feeling so shitty. I liked the SML at the beginning, but omg he pissed me off afterwards. At least he tried doing good by the FL and his bro with the last bit of his life.
Anyways, it was a decent drama, I don't regret watching it, although I would not really recommend it to people. -
21. Doom at Your Service
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
28/04/25 - 29/04/25
I really could not give a shit about the second story with the love triangle tbh, it was really boring. That was the worst part of the drama. I already don't like love triangles, and in this case I think the girl deserved better, both guys sucked, if I could at least ship her with one, it would have been a bit more bearable, but nope, she didn't have chemistry with either of them. The ex was a pos and the editor was a shitty friend. They were fine as friends of the other characters (as secondary characters), but every time they wanted to show them in the romantic light, it did not work at all. That decision FL made at the end of ep10 to leave to "be alone and try forgetting everyone so she would have no one to love" was kinda dumb, but at least it was a really short plot point. I think the amnesia bit was not necessary as well, but it was not that annoying since it was quick.
I thought her wish was kinda meh, I was expecting it to matter more lol
I did not really feel that "I ship them" feeling from the main couple, but they were cute. Overall, it was a decent drama, better than I expected tbh because I thought it was not gonna be good lol Plot was kinda original. Wish we could have seen the wedding. -
22. Mercy for None
Korean Drama - 2025, 7 episodes
21/06/25
I liked it~ Cool action scenes and I liked everyone's acting in it~ The ending was great as well, it was very poetic, depression hit afterwards even though I knew it was gonna end like that lol
It's a very straightforward (and simple tbh) story with some easy to figure out "plot twists" (like who was behind the murder of ML's brother for ex, that u can find out on the first ep), but that didn't take away from my enjoyment.
I feel like this was a great So Ji Sub comeback. I like him and I personally felt like his recent works were kinda kinda meh (Doctor Lawyer and Terius behind Me). Like, it didn't seem like his heart was in it, but I feel like he did great on this one!
I think this was the villain's actor's best work so far from what I've seen with him lol Also my love Lee Jun Hyuk is in it, although only for a little bit, he did great lool -
23. Squid Game
Korean Drama - 2021, 9 episodes
25/06/25 - 27/06/25
I would not say I loved it, watched some parts on 1.5x speed (especially on the first few eps), and some characters really annoyed me, but overall it was entertaining enough lol Felt a bit bad for piercing girl (although we didn't know her that well), for Ali and for Sae Byeok rip. Ending was interesting. I liked the cop~ -
24. Squid Game Season 2
Korean Drama - 2024, 7 episodes
28/06/25
It wasn't as bad as people were saying lol They did say nothing happened though and I gotta agree with that somewhat, in relation to the cop + boat crew. They spent the whole time just searching and not finding the island, basically, so their bits were kinda...nothing lol
Player 333 is such a lowlife T_T Thanos kept annoying me the whole show lol I don't find him funny so to me he was over the top and he was also a jerk so that didn't help. I just wanted to fast forward when he was doing his insane stuff. And I still dislike the guard girl, idk if I can ever like her tbh. The shaman annoyed the fuck out of me omfg.
I liked main guy better this season tbh, he was also alright on the last eps of season 1. I also liked Cho Hyeon Ju.
I like the cop and all, but if he had shared that his bro was the black mask guy to main guy, and showed pictures since he must have some, main guy would not be getting fooled so badly the whole time T_T
I liked the ending of season 1 more and stuff, but I feel like I got the same amount of enjoyment and annoyance from both seasons lol The show is like, alright, I don't love it or hate it, it's just ok enough to watch. -
25. Squid Game Season 3
Korean Drama - 2025, 6 episodes
29/06/25
So much to say...what a disappointment of an ending. Also some plot lines sucked ass. What was even the point... -
26. The Devil’s Plan Death Room
Korean TV Show - 2025, 12 episodes
03/07/25 - 05/07/25
This season made me so angry lol
This season was tough because there were not many likeable players. Maybe Justin and the board game guy, and I kinda liked poker guy too, but that's it.
I hated Hyun Gyu so badly, he was smart, sure, but he was also annoying af with his attitude, so arrogant, he legit behaved like a sociopath.
I didn't like red dress girl at all lol I'm not fond of Kyuhyun either, he barely did anything on his own most of the time and kept behaving like he was righteous when he actually betrayed the journalist twice. Well guy barely did anything, a shame that he lasted so long. The actress, she was smart, but she was a hypocrite. She was just as bad as arrogant guy, but did not want to admit it imo, they were just made for each other fr.
I didn't like what the lawyer did to Justin, but otherwise she was fine. I felt really bad on ep8 when Justin lost :((
I preferred the games from season 1, best game this season was the prison death match from ep11. I think the first season was way more enjoyable for me and had more people to cheer for imo (and also had a more friendly competitive vibe), this time it was heavily reliant on alliances and instead of cheering for someone to win, I was just getting mad and hoping people lost. I wanted the annoying living crew to go to prison, it was not fun seeing the same people in jail all the fucking time, it became a "us vs them" basically the whole game. How super junior guy and actress fucking annoyed me on ep10. So now you're feeling bad? It's always been you guys living comfortably + ganging up and betraying people, but when they finally rise up and that bites the arrogant dude in the ass, you feel bad and wanna help him? Oh pls. Fuck off. So glad super junior guy left, finally.
Sadly, both people I hated the most the whole game were the finalists, and the one I had been hoping would lose since the beginning, won. This was not worth watching, for me lol
-
27. Parasyte: The Grey
Korean Drama - 2024, 6 episodes
07/07/25 - 14/07/25
It was like, meh, with the last ep being the most entertaining one. Cool cameo at the end~Team leader was annoying most of the time and idk, I couldn't help but find her unlikeable. She was very over the top at times. Main girl was kinda whatever. That scene in her mind talking to the alien was kinda lame. The alien fights were cool, aliens looked cool too. Detective was nice, sad that he died. Main guy was meh. Actor acts well, it's just the character that I didn't feel too much for. The death of his friend was kinda sad even though we barely knew him. His sister's actress acted well.
Idk, the show was ok at best, just didn't bring too many emotions from me I guess, I didn't really care that much. So in the end, it was fine, but it was just another show I watched, nothing I would recommend to people and it was very forgettable. Take a shot every time the villain mentions "human organizations" lol

28. Cherry Blossoms after Winter

I actually read this webtoon, this took me back lmao The drama adaptation is very simple and rushed since there's only 8 eps, things happen very quickly and nothing gets fleshed out lol it's just a mini drama to pass the time, nothing special, can be cute at times, but can also be very cringe lol can't believe they dropped the "I know you never wanted me, mom" and then never talked about it again to solve that problem between the mom and son lol I know the eps are short, but then they should have just cut it out or something ?

Mixed feelings about it, good idea, not so great execution. Main guy acts well as always, the songs are also good. First eps were interesting and the story kept me engaged, but then it started dragging and I had to watch on 2x. I feel like this drama should have been way shorter, then it would not have dragged so much, and hit harder with the story by focusing on the good points and what mattered. The last few eps (like from ep12 +-) dragged extra hard.
I shipped the mains, but then they put that whole "they knew each other when she was 18 and he was an old man" so it got kinda awkward T_T Although I knew they would not put romance, they had potential, a shame. But I swear they still put scenes with romantic vibes between them? Like, commit if you wanna go that way or not. Well, even if it didn't happen, they were soulmates, I believe.
MC is so selfish and an asshole, but charismatic enough that I did not hate watching his antics lool Good job to the actor, some others could not have pulled that off. Didn't really care for the other characters, they were kinda boring.
Ep13 was kinda goofy with the lightsabers lol Everything she said, without a soul, to her family, was well deserved tbh. I find the FL's family issue so infuriating. Divorce him, lady, wtf. He's better now, move on with your lives, why did everyone just believe the dude would change? And then he doesn't and they still stay with him?? And then end up in the same situation, killing him?? We're not in the past, you can divorce.
Overall, it was ok, I do not regret watching it, but it dragged and could have been way better (and shorter), so I would not really recommend it to people. Ending was also kinda weak. A shame, because it had potential imo. Even so, I still thought it was kinda original with the premise, and I mainly continued because of the main character and actor. -
30. Oh My Ghost Clients

It was a decent drama, but last eps were very weak. That case with the workers that got killed in the fire was so boring and dragged a ton.
His sister-in-law was so annoying omfg. Worst character here. And kinda useless too. I liked the ML, main actor did a good job. The youtuber had some fun bits, he had more chemistry with the main dude than the sister-in-law. ML's wife didn't have any chemistry with him was unnecessary to the story as well (thought she would have more of a presence since she was a lawyer too, but guess not), same as the sister-in-law, idk. They also dropped her youtuber job and never mentioned it again. Sometimes kdramas just do a shitty job at doing female characters, not the first time where they just feel shoved in there with no real purpose, like an afterthought.
I think the weakest parts of this drama was when they tried doing some of the comedy (poop = funny in their mind idk why the fuck) or focused on the couple (that I didn't ship at all because she was insufferable) and the sister-in-law.
Wow what happened on eps 8+9 and half of 10?? Those sucked and dragged sm. It was so boring and scenes that didn't add anything were soooo loooong. They thought they were being funny with some things, but it was not funny. The workers who died were so annoying as well. I wonder what happened. Did they run out of ideas? Did the writer change suddenly? Lmao because in the last half of ep10 it went back to the vibe the show had before. I wish we got more scenes of him dealing with his brother's death and him talking to his bro instead, that was way better and what I thought the last case was gonna be tbh.
Either way, it was a nice show that shed light on important issues, that sadly happen often, but they dropped the ball on that last case. I'll do them a favour and erase what happened from my mind, I'll pretend it went from ep 7 to the last half of ep10 T_T -

Every ep I watch feels like I watched like 3 eps lmao It's a long drama that actually feels long, doesn't mean it's bad though. Ep1 was kinda whatever to me, eps2 and 3 had some good moments and some whatever moments, then ep4 was kinda boring because tbh every scene with the girlfriend is kinda boring to me, and since that plot point got a lot of focus on ep4, it was boring. After that, it became better, so I've been entertained. I think overall, so far (just finished ep6), it's alright. The gf and main guy have 0 chemistry though and she's a bit annoying tbf. Dude has way more chemistry with his bff. I think the drama didn't need the romance.
