My Favourite male CDrama Actors
A list of my favourite CDrama Harem////// ... actors. First created this as of June 2022, and updated randomly as I find new cuties to abducted into the Harem.
In a very rough order that's totally subjective to change depending on the weather, day of the week or my mood! :D
I'll do one for the women one day...Which will probably be *much* shorter, because lets face it, I mostly watch these for the super hawt men!!!
I have a weak spot for Wuxia/Xianxia/XuanHuan series. Gorgeously talented men, in beautiful robes trying to kill each other with shiny swords is like candy for me.

Liu Yu Ning
Chinese
This man is responsible for most of my favourite CDrama tracks, and I honestly haven't heard a single song of his that I haven't liked. He's turning into a *very* credible actor as well. Now he just has to work on actually getting a, preferably ML, character to survive and have a happy ending. He's brilliant in pretty much anything he's in, whether it's playing 2ML in The Long Ballad, a wayward soul in Heroes, or a ruthless, but loyal killer in Eternal Brotherhood. Tho my favourite roles for him are definitely A Journey to Love & The Story of Pearl Girl !!

Zhang Ruo Yun
Chinese
Zhang Ruo Yun never fails to hold your attention on screen.
He's best playing chatty, witty hyper competent types ala Joy of Life, or Sword Snow Stride.
But if you like your ice cold intellectuals as well, then check him out in Medical Examiner Dr. Qin
-
Hou Ming Hao
Chinese
First saw him in the republicn era Psych-Hunter, with it's twisty turny mindgames and divisive ending. Then picked up the modern relic hunter role of Wu Xie role in The Lost Tomb 2, then into the fluffy, floaty robes romance of A Girl Like Me. Mans all grown up, so you can now watch him try to seduce anything with a pulse in Fangs of Fortune or bounce around in the Blood of Youth prequel, Dashing Youth.

-
Zhang Ling He
Chinese
First fell for this kid in Maiden Holmes, then watched him in Love Between Fairy and Devil where the poor boy was a little overshadowed by Hedi. Then he shows up in My Journey to You and absolutely stole the show, and he's only getting better. Story of Kunning Palace & The Princess Royal are probably some of his best work so far.
-
Wang Xing Yue
Chinese
Officially the captain of the Too Young to be This Good brigade at 23, I first laid eyes on this kid in Story of Kunning Palace , where he played the ernest and upright Zhang Zhe and was suprised at his age and how well he stood against older actors and such a huge cast. Then watched him channel his best ice cube bossy ceo/billards player in Amidst a Snowstorm of Love with Leo Wu. Then he got his own lead and absolutely stole the show in revenge drama The Double, and kept it up in the the light and fluffy Perfect Match.
-
Zhang Wan Yi
Chinese
First saw him in Lost You Forever, and I found his character boring, but it put him on my radar anyway. Then I saw him in Are You the One & The Rise of Ning and he was perfect! He was particularly hilarious when playing idiot besties with Zhang Chi as in Are You the One & Si Jin. I love his voice and I'm always glad when they don't dub him.
-
Xia Zhi Guang
Chinese
This sweet baby first probably came to most peoples notice from The Spirealm BL drama. Then he got cast in Dashing Youth as everyones favourite spear Deity Sikong Chang Feng. He's always worth watching, and his role in Blossom showed he's still stretching and honing those acting skills.
-
Leo Wu
Chinese
Far too young to be this good. He's adorable as the teenage martial genius in Nirvana in Fire with Hu Ge, then excellent in the lead in Fights Break Sphere: Season 1, The Long Ballad or Tomb of the Sea.
-
Luo Yun Xi
Chinese
When you need someone to be devestatingly pretty and float around the scenery like gravity doesn't touch him, then Yun Xi is the man for you. Whether its the brilliant, tortured and machiavellian Prince in Ashes of Love, or the King in Princess Silver, or a more modern romantic in Love Is Sweet he's always worth watching.

-
Chen Xing Xu
Chinese
Amazing actor first caught my eye in Goodbye, My Princess. Then absolutely stole the show in The Starry Love. Best heard with his own sweet deep purry voice!!!
Not sure how I'm going to survive him and Luke Chen in the BL series Guardians of the Lands !!
-
Mark Chao
Taiwanese
Look I do like my Gods of War/Crown Prince twinsomes...Eternal Love serves it all up.
Or playing the wise cracking smartarse opposite Deng Lun in The Yin-Yang Master: Dream of Eternity.
Or a sarcastic warrior playing nanny to a whiteboi 'hero' in The Warrior's Gate. Only watch it for Mark, and Ni Ni!

-
Li Xian
Chinese
First saw Li Xian in Tientsin Mystic with its brilliant republican era detective series. Then playing fire to Zhang Ruo Yun's ice in Medical Examiner Dr. Qin. He was gorgeous in floaty robes in the xianxia Sword Dynasty, then dead sexy as a modern gamer for Go Go Squid!
-
-
Qin Jun Jie
Chinese
Watching him in Side Story of Fox Volant rapidly bumped QJJ up into my top 10 for this list. He's been fantastic eye candy as secondary characters in past series, but he excelled as the lead Hu Fei in Fox Volant!

-
Liu Yi Chang
Chinese
Liu Yi Chang in I've Fallen For You (2020) is delightful. He plays opposite Yu Shu Xin (Esther Yu) and holds his own against her ulta sweet and bubbly personality. Definitely one to watch out for I think!
-
Deng Lun
Chinese
I kinda want to see more of him as a bad boy ala the Fox demon in Investiture of the Gods(a very ordinary series otherwise), but baby Phoenix is still a fav from Ashes of Love.
Or the stiff, stubborn Boya in The Yin-Yang Master: Dream of Eternity.

-
Elvis Han
Chinese
Wu Xin: The Monster Killer is where Elvis first caught my eye in the monster hunter republican era drama. Then caught him opposite Hu Ge in the delightful modern romance Good Time. That lead me to Chinese Paladin 5 which is a delightful xianxia series that's surprisingly good, albeit very cheesy at times.
-
Merxat Yalkun
Chinese
Merxat Yalkun definitely needs more Leading Man roles. He's usually playing a devastatingly good second ML such as in Legend of Yunxi, The Moon Brightens For You, Falling Into Your Smile, or My Sassy Princess. Then there's his only lead role (so far) in the tragic For Married Doctress .

-
Lin Yu Shen
Chinese
Between Lin Yu Shen & Qin Jun Jie, Side Story of Fox Volant was a definite feast for the eyes.
