This is an episode-by-episode guide to possible triggers in dramas, including blood and injuries. Most of the dramas are cozy, which reflects my own viewing. I may have missed a few moments, but I’ve done my utmost to include every instance to make finding shows easier for you.

Japanese Drama - 2019, 12 episodes
A woman making her everyday life beautiful through her home, food, and music. A pure comfort show.

Two young schoolkids teasing each other. No drama - pure comfort.

Korean Movie - 2018
A girl moves to her childhood home in the countryside and finds herself again. Very slow and calming. Lots of food, friendships, and scenery.

4. Lunch Break Lovers
Japanese Drama - 2026, 8 episodes
A woman spills coffee on a man, ruining his expensive shirt. To compensate, she agrees to make him lunch boxes every day for a month.

- ep 6: A girl is startled by a dog and falls off her bike, getting a skinned knee. Redish but not really any blood.
- ep 10: fighting (no blood), flashback to a time when a character often got into fights - small bruise on cheek but no blood.
- ep 18: grandma surgery in hospital - she is fine (no blood or injuries visible)

11. The Aromantics
Japanese Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
Two aromantic and asexuals decide to become a family without any romantic feelings attatched.
Possible triggers:
Repeated pressure to pursue romantic relationships, unwanted romantic advances, refusal from family members to understand a character’s romantic orientation (resolved), unwanted physical contact (kissing and sex), light stalking behavior from an ex-partner, cheating, divorce, arguments in front of children, labor
Ep 2: a man to fall down a staircase (no blood shown).
Ep. 3: A man falls down a staircase, resulting in a broken arm and back injury (no blood shown). Later, he pretends to have memory loss as a joke.
Ep. 6: A woman goes into labor and is shown screaming in pain. The birth itself is not shown.

Chinese Drama - 2025, 28 episodes
A woman suffering from insomnia seeks out a traditional Chinese medicine doctor. Through time, their relationship begins to grow closer. A sweet, healing romance.

Acupuncture is used in almost every episode. No blood.

ep 4: Yumi faints and ends up at the hospital (she is fine)

16. Spirit Fingers
Korean Drama - 2025, 12 episodes
An introverted high schooler lives her days insignificantly. Then she is invited to a mysterious arts club. Her life begins to gain color, and through the support of her new friends, she learns how to speak up for herself and maybe even find romance...
Possible triggers;
Parental pressure and favorism, parental neglect, slight body dysmorphia, bullying, dysfunctional families
Blood or injuries:
Frequent pushes or fights (think sibling-violence) played humorously. Every time someone is actually hurt, it is mentioned below.
ep 1: Nosebleed
ep 4: Slightly bruised hand (no blood)
ep 8: horror theme in artclub (slight jumpscare, horror music, scary costumes - one with blood), fight resulting in 6 people slightly injured (small wounds or injuries but not bloody)
ep 9: children fight, resulting in small, unbloody wounds and injuries

17. Hidden Love
Chinese Drama - 2023, 25 episodes
A girl has a crush on her brother's friend. Years later, they meet again and fall in love.
Note: while the show has a lot of triggers, they are all very lightly touched on, and the show doesn't feel heavy at all
Possible triggers;
murder while drunk driving (past - not shown), suicide attempt (jump out the window - no blood or injuries are shown, coma, vomiting (ep 12), money extortion, stalking by victims, death by cancer
Blood or injuries:
- ep 3: A girl falls during a sports day. Her knee and hand are scraped and have a bit of blood. It is not zoomed in on, but it is cleaned and therefore present for a while.
- ep 9: a guy has his appendix removed (no surgery or wound shown)
- ep 16: flashback - dad rushes home after driving a man down and jumps out the window (neither incident is shown, but we do see horrified faces of family members -no blood)
- ep 18: two guys fight - blood running from lip and cheek.
- ep 24: dad in coma passes away

18. Hi Venus
Chinese Drama - 2022, 24 episodes
A woman gets off to the wrong foot with the new president at her hospital when she accidentally mistakes a man for a seller of false medical wine.
Possible triggers;
acupuncture, child death during surgery (not shown), loss of a parent due to suicide (in the past - not shown)
Blood or injuries:
ep 1: A man finds an injured goat in a storm (a bit of blood), a slight car crash (no blood), a small wound on his hand (a bit of blood), acupuncture
ep 5: a woman is almost hit by a scooter. Her elbow gets injured (slight blood, shown being cleaned for a few seconds, but not zoomed in on.
ep 9: man gets a cut from broken glass on his ankle (two small lines of blood. shown being cleaned for a few seconds, but not zoomed in on.)
ep 10: nosebleed from being bumped into.
ep 11: ML jokes that his head is bleeding (he is pulling a prank, no blood -even fake)
ep 12: a child collapses and receives CPR (we are told she is fine)

19. Business Proposal
Korean Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
Acting as a replacement on a blind date, Shin Ha Ri is shocked when she learns on the first date that he is not only the president of her company but wants to marry her.
Possible triggers;
Acupuncture (ep 4), Voyeurism leading to fear of surveillance, loss of parents in a car crash, strained family relationships,
Blood or injuries:
ep 2: Nose bleed twice. Very minimal blood
ep 3: A girl is accidentally pushed into the ground (she clutches her knee: no visible injury). Hit by a baseball, resulting in a black eye.
ep 4: acupuncture
ep 5: Voyeurism leading to a fight - no blood
ep 6: slight injury at lip after fight (no blood), Flashback: car accident (emotionally intense; no blood/violence; overturned car; child witnessing in distress; parents lying motionless).
ep 7: Sauce splatter resembling blood (visual only).
ep 8: Repeat of sauce scene (resembles blood). Twisted ankle; sprained wrist (no blood). Appendicitis and surgery (not shown). Minor burn (covered). Small finger cut with minimal blood.
ep 10: Minor car accident (not shown; no blood).
ep 11: Broken arm (in cast; no visible injury). Repeat flashback: car accident (no blood/violence).

20. You Are My Lover Friend
Chinese Drama - 2024, 30 episodes
Two childhood best friends navigate their relationship and the growing feelings between them.
Possible triggers;
workplace harassment, slight sexual harassment, someone threatening with a knife, drunk driving
In episode 29: attempted murder, financial fraud, assault, suicide
Blood or injuries:
ep 4: flashback: a boy getting his arm bandaged after injury (no blood shown; a slightly bloodstained paper in the background, though not zoomed in on)
ep 9:man holding a knife to the throat of a pregnant woman (intense, but no blood or injuries)
ep 10: car accident (very minor, no harm to persons or cars), leading to an intoxicated man smashing her car window while she is inside (intense but no harm)
ep 11: slight cut on leg
ep 12: a character's mother undergoes surgery - she is fine, and nothing is shown
ep 16: A man threatens harassment; The woman defends herself by putting a fork to his neck. Her friend sees and later beats the man up. Her friend gets a small injury on the hand (a bit of blood), and then the man has some cuts on his face (doesn't look very bloody)
ep 21: a man undergoes surgery for acute appendicitis. No blood or surgery is shown.
ep 29: attempted murder, financial fraud, assault, suicide (all quickly mentioned and not shown)

21. Coffee Prince
Korean Drama - 2007, 17 episodes
A girl pretends to be a boy to land a job at a coffee shop and ends up falling in love with her boss, who is unaware of her identity.
Possible triggers;
Cancer, Vomiting: heard not shown(ep 5), kisses without consent, disgusting food scenes, slight gender misogyny, slight homophobia, slight body dysmorphia, cheating, toxic relationships, drinking while pregnant, miscarriage and infertility (implied)
Blood or injuries:
ep 1: A girl falls after her purse is stolen; she gets a scraped knee. Not bloody and seen 1 second from far away.
ep 5: A dog runs out in front of a car (turns out fine), a girl runs after it, and a man pulls her to the ground. She gets a bloody palm (seen 2 times, a couple of seconds), and the guy gets a bruise. Later, a guy gets multiple bee stings on his face.
ep 6: a car backs into a girl, who falls off her scooter. She has a scraped elbow (doesn't look very bad), which is seen a few times throughout the episode.
ep 7: quick replay of bloody palm from ep 5. She punches her boss in the face, and he gets a bloody nose. Grandmother in hospital (cancer, no injuries)
ep 8: a fight - girl gets a skinned knee.
ep 9: A slightly bloody foot.
ep 11: one face punch - no blood
ep 12: one pricked finger - no blood.
ep 14: quickly mentioned from past, not shown: a woman being beaten by her husband until she bleeds
