I'm a sucker for second chances in dramaland. This one kept hooked by feeding my bits and pieces on what went wrong in their high school days, and whether Takashi deserves a second chance.

One of my favorite shows where two people are immediately in each other's orbit from the time they meet in high school, but they lack the words and maturity to say how they feel. We mainly see from the point of view (POV) of Hira, an unreliable narrator, who lives alone when his family moved away. Thankfully, there are S2 and a movie that completes the story, including Kiyoi's POV.

Mizuki and Yoh meet in university where Yoh in invited into Mizuki's group of friends. Before they graduate, Mizuki asks Yoh to move in with him. Yoh is our main narrator, and he is one of the most unreliable narrators I've seen. Because of his insecurities, he presents his relationship as a slave-master one. Many people who outright believe Yoh will say this show is too toxic for them when in truth their biggest issue is a lack of communication.

When unrequited love has lasted too long and the hurt becomes too much, Do Ba U decides he needs to step back from his best friend Ji Hun. Something feels off to Ji Hun, so he starts trying to figure out what's going on, if Ba U is in trouble somehow and realizes there's someone new around Ba U, Jung Ha Min.

As the end of the world is announced, people decide how (and with whom) they want to spend those last days. One player has kept a photo of the only relationship that mattered, never believing in love because of his own childhood issues. He returns to their college library, hoping against hope he'll see that special person.

Bromance to the max. Tennis like you've never seen it before. Quirky dad, serious son.

One of the early KBLs. Simple, sweet and one I've rewatched multiple times.
