If the setting was a prison for example it wouldnt bother me that much. Ibjust dont enjoy seeing bloodthirsty, psychotic teenagers. Will watch the second season sole for Jun Hee   and in hopes of a happy ending

This drama is like a reverse kdrama. The first few episodes are totally trashy and ridiculous but at one point each episode.gets better and better and better and Im confident.the ending will be good.too.
09.09.25: This is so angsty!! I thought the misunderstanding wouöd be dumb, but it actually makes sense!
Tbh if Suowei's mother wouldnt be so dumb to try and.hide her condition from her son, everything would be better. Classic trying to do whats best for the child while hurting them instead -_- The mother is actualky the character I'm most.annoyed about. Not even Wang Shuo

Loved all the twists and turns , deaths and revivals, love and hate relationships. Absolute cinema. I was never bored, it got more exciting with each episode.

29.11.25:
I loved the main couple, I liked the second villain (first one was a disney joke) and I also liked the old school switched at birth trope XD
But overall the quality of the drama was lacking. The dialogues as well a backdrop characters such as parents and servants where very lackluster written and forgotton as soon as the camera switched to another character XD
Costumes  and special effects  I liked very much, the enviroments where pretty but too few and too small. It was a nice smallscale xianxia drama, main leads had good chemistry and I adore a male lead who is just a good guy without any bad boy arrogant personality that needs to change. From the beginning he knew who he is and wants to be and never changed no matter how bad others treated him.
Fenale lead is supposed to be a greates warrior of all realms... well she had her moments but she was obviously a typical damsel who had little insightful to say.
15.11.25: I never seen a drama where the female lead has so little lines. I mean not only is the dialogue very simple but when other characters speak and there is obvious cue for the female lead to state her opinion, she just looks concerned or on thoughts or nods to the male lead in agreement. XD
Worst scene was when Ji Bozai tried to carve her fake name on the lovers stone and got hurt, she tried to stop him but he pushed her to the ground and demanded answers from her and overall had a one man coversation while she knelt on the ground for 5 minutes with tears in her eyes not speaking a word lol

Is it a happy end though when you married a jealousy driven male manipulator who bullies his own child out of pettiness? lol
Also Xie Wei's father tying to stab him from behind while obvoulsy airborne with a trampoline was goofy af. I thought I accidently switched channels to a comedy show.
07.12.25: Fuck, I watched til 2:30 am.
Right after the Tongzhou arc it got very exciting and it becane even more familiar to Bu Bu Jing Xin.
The morally grey and selfish male lead who became obsessed with female lead bc she is the only one who understands the real him. BUT I personally would NEVER choose him XD he is a psycho.  He physacally threatens the female lead, grabs her  wrists AND her throat so she can't leave! And ugh the forced agressive tongue kiss in the cave was disgusting. And then he makes her stab him so she feels guilty. And thats NOT when he has his ptsd episodes!

The dance performances and acting was amazing. The plot... I dint get it XD I feel like the plot was too simple and there must be deeper meaning wich is then too deeply hidden for me XD Also, I will never understand the feeling of ambition and want to be first place. I'm.very underambitious
