  • TharnType

    1. TharnType

    Thai Drama - 2019, 12 episodes

I know that it’s considered “problematic”, but I actually like toxic dramas as long as they’re balanced. Both guys acted wrong towards each other, but I loved how the relationship developed. And Gulf and Mew have amazing chemistry, are insanely good looking and they are both great actors. I fell hard for this drama

  • KinnPorsche

    2. KinnPorsche

    Thai Drama - 2022, 14 episodes

How to rate this amazing drama? The production value is the best I’ve ever seen in a Thai drama. The acting, especially from Apo and Mile is amazing. And how far they went with each other! Strong cast, solid story, beautiful people. Some episodes are better than others though, and there are some plot holes.

  • The Effect

    3. The Effect

    Thai Drama - 2019, 3 episodes

This drama broke me! It’s just three episodes and technically it maybe shouldn’t be classified as a BL. Even though homophobia is a big part of the drama, it definitely isn’t a love story. The drama depicts what online (and offline) bullying and rumor spreading can do to people and their relationship with others. It might not seem so bad during the first episode, but what it ultimately leads to is devastating. Great acting and characters though. A very high quality drama

  • Bad Buddy

    4. Bad Buddy

    Thai Drama - 2021, 12 episodes

One of few great BLs from Thailand. I’m officially in love with Ohm Pawat! He and Nanon had great chemistry and I loved watching them bicker and flirt with each other.

  • The Eclipse

    5. The Eclipse

    Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes

The opposite of Not Me. The main story isn’t that well written (the mystery of the school), but the main romance is close to perfect! I love the characters Akk and Ayan - especially when they are together. They start of as foes, but they never actually hate each other. Even before they’ve realized their feelings for each other, they notice the suffering of the other person and worries and comfort each other. Ayan loves to tease Akk and Akk immediately responds (though he won’t admit it for the longest time). But although his feelings for Ayan scares him, he doesn’t push him away and he’s never really mean to him either. The boys were hurting, but they never hurt each other and they  never forced each other. The emotional intelligence of the show is chef kiss and the guys had very strong and natural chemistry.

  • I Told Sunset about You

    6. I Told Sunset about You

    Thai Drama - 2020, 5 episodes

+ I Promised You the Moon

This one is extremely hard to rate, I still haven’t sorted out my feelings. I expected a great drama and although it exceeded my expectations of that, it still made me somewhat depressed. There are no villains in this dramas, the main characters are experts at hurting themselves and sadly, I understand them and can relate to them. Especially Teh, judging by the comments on MDL I expected him to be a mean person but he really isn’t. A beautiful drama, but I wanted it to be happier. Which is weird since the endings are happy.

  • Not Me

    7. Not Me

    Thai Drama - 2021, 14 episodes

As a BL this show is very hard to rate, because the romance isn’t the main focus. The focus was the fight for a just society. The story was well written, suspenseful and action filled. The characters were multidimensional and smart. The romance fit well into the story. Gun impressed with great acting. As a BL it was good and I liked the couples, but the romance could have been more developed. I was happy to be able to watch Gun and Off in a well written story so I could finally move on from the trauma that was Theory of Love.

  • Only Friends

    8. Only Friends

    Thai Drama - 2023, 12 episodes

Where to start? I don’t know if I should call this a love story, it’s too toxic and cynical for that. Most of the characters I didn’t like most of the time with the exception of Ray, Sand and Nick. Even though the characters lied, cheated and hurt each other constantly, the show was crazy addictive. It was messy and raw, and the characters were more fleshed out than in the usual stories. They were far from perfect, but that might have been what made them relatable. I’m going to miss these guys, except for Top - I can’t put my finger on why, but I still don’t like him.

  • Love Sick

    9. Love Sick

    Thai Drama - 2014, 12 episodes

As far as I’m concerned, this is the only “classic” that deserves the title. Not the happiest BL out there, but I understood where the guys were coming from.

  • Lovely Writer

    10. Lovely Writer

    Thai Drama - 2021, 12 episodes

I was pleasantly surprised by this little unproblematic gem. Gene is an amazing protagonist, he’s not too innocent, he’s smart and most importantly nice. He’s forced to write BLs by his publishing company because it sells, but he’s very uncomfortable writing about sex because he feels the genre romanticizes non-con. One of his novels is being made into a series and they want him to be part of it. There he meets Nubsib (one of the male leads) and he takes an interest in Gene. So much so that he convinces his manager (an old friend of Gene) to let him move in with Gene. Obviously, Nubsib does so because he wants Gene as a boyfriend, but even if that’s a tad manipulative of him, he doesn’t cross the line. This BL stays away from non-con and critics it often (along with the toxic BL-industry). Cute romance with a good message.

  • Triage

    11. Triage

    Thai Drama - 2022, 13 episodes

A very entertaining time-loop drama that’s actually pretty well written for a thai BL. I’m glad I watched this drama. My only complaints are that the time-loop lasted through the whole drama and I would’ve liked more time for the guys relationship to develop at the end. Also, I couldn’t understand the villains’ motivation and there was a lot of people dying, some of them multiple times. I wanted more happy times. Usually thai BLs give you too much fluff and comic relief, but this drama could actually benefit from more of that.

  • He's Coming to Me

    12. He's Coming to Me

    Thai Drama - 2019, 8 episodes

Another great performance from Ohm. A pretty good show

  • My School President

    13. My School President

    Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes

Extremely innocent BL with good music and lots of cute flirting. The guys were pretty and had really good chemistry, but the kisses were few and came late in the drama. The majority of the drama focused on the music club, their practices, competitions, trying not get the club cancelled by the school etc. Because of the club rules, the guys also weren’t allowed to date. The drama made me smile a lot, but at times I became bored with the non-existing story and silly conflicts. It was sweet, but too innocent for my taste and with too weak a story.

  • I Will Knock You

    14. I Will Knock You

    Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes

A cute silly BL. The character of Noey was adorable and charismatic and it’s probably because of him I liked this drama. He made me smile. He’s really young, born in 2004. The other guy is nine years older irl, born in 1995 and he wasn’t much to look at. He was timid and slow and over-acted a lot. It was always Noey taking the initiative, always, the other guy tried to push him away most of the time. He never expressed his feelings properly either, so it wasn’t that strange that Noey thought he would be happier without him.

  • Until We Meet Again

    15. Until We Meet Again

    Thai Drama - 2019, 17 episodes

Uneven, I really liked the parts from their previous life and the reconciling with the family. But everything else wasn’t as interesting

  • Be My Favorite

    16. Be My Favorite

    Thai Drama - 2023, 12 episodes

This one is hard to rate because I started out really liking it. The premise was interesting, it was funny and Pisaeng was very charismatic with his flirting and all. When Kawi realized he was about to lose him I was very invested. I felt the chemistry in every kiss and almost kiss before they got together (past and future). Then (around episode 8) they got together and after that everything got so incredibly dull. It wasn’t funny anymore, the chemistry was gone and the content was nonsense, like the writer had just stopped caring about the story. The last episodes moved at a glacial pace.

  • My Stand-In: Uncut

    17. My Stand-In: Uncut

    Thai Drama - 2024, 12 episodes

Started very strong with their past story. The guys were cute and I liked the acting and had fun watching it. Until the breakup, the reaction Ming had when Joe broke up over the phone was so well-acted and I felt really bad for him. But then shit got weird, Ming got violent and WTF was with that kidnapping part? When Joe woke up in his new body the drama got even weirder, I couldn’t understand his behavior (or Ming’s for that part). Ming, you have a spiritual guide and you still can’t recognize who Joe is although it’s so obvious. Joe’s relationship with his new mom was very cute, I’ll admit. What I didn’t like was how Sol and Wut started treating Joe like a child, telling him what to do, dragging him away, punching Ming etc. It was really creepy.

  • Love by Chance

    18. Love by Chance

    Thai Drama - 2018, 14 episodes

I quickly became bored with the main couple and shifted focus to the other couples. An ok show, not bad but not great

  • 3 Will Be Free

    19. 3 Will Be Free

    Thai Drama - 2019, 10 episodes

    7.5

By the time I watched this, it had been on my watchlist for a very long time and I had high expectations. However it did not live up to them. The show centers around tree people, two males and one female that enters(?) a polyamory relationship while on the run from the mafia. The problem is that the relationship didn’t feel equal. One of the leads, the mafia son, always seemed to be left out and although the other male lead said he loved both him and the female equally, it didn’t feel like it. Both the mafia son and the female seemed to love the other male lead, and he seemed to prefer the female. They both welcomed the mafia son, but he always felt like a third wheel. This could have been done so much better. If only the show hadn’t focused so much on the mafia aspect and all the killings. A for effort, I guess?

  • Second Chance

    20. Second Chance

    Thai Drama - 2021, 6 episodes

An ok short drama. Not really memorable

  • Manner of Death

    21. Manner of Death

    Thai Drama - 2020, 14 episodes

Maybe my expectations were to high, but when I was watching this everything just felt stupid and extremely unrealistic. People are dying like flies, but no one in this tiny town seems to care or mourn (no matter how close they are to the victims). I don’t think a single parent showed up. And I wasn’t buying the love story. A huge disappointment.

  • Together with Me

    22. Together with Me

    Thai Drama - 2017, 13 episodes

I liked Max character, but didn’t really like Tul in this. It was mostly frustrating

  • Sotus

    23. Sotus

    Thai Drama - 2016, 15 episodes

I don’t understand the hype. It seemed like the show tried to glorify hazing - and hazing is also the main theme of the show, not BL. Sadly

  • Make It Right

    24. Make It Right

    Thai Drama - 2016, 12 episodes

Sometimes entertaining, but very very stupid

  • Never Let Me Go

    25. Never Let Me Go

    Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes

I finally decided to drop this by episode 9 and probably should have done it sooner. The guys are unusually good-looking but the story doesn’t make sense. It seems pretty tame, even though there’s dangerous men trying to kill them they seem to forget about that pretty often. One second they’re getting shot at, maybe even looses somebody they love, the next they are happily dating. It’s weird

  • GAP

    26. GAP

    Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes

At first I thought it was really cute. And refreshing with a GL for once instead of the usual BL. And although the leads are very pretty their characters are bland as shit and the story moves at a glacial pace. I forced myself through episode 7, but watching this drama has started to feel like a choir. It’s a GL, but it’s as cliché as any other BL, and it isn’t hot, it isn’t fun, it’s only boring. The problem lies with the script of course.

  • Love in the Air

    27. Love in the Air

    Thai Drama - 2022, 13 episodes

Really uncomfortable power dynamics in this drama.  Two couples with one manipulative bully and one weak innocent guy in each. A lot of kissing and sex, but still boring. I didn’t like the characters and the plot didn’t make sense.

  • A Tale of Thousand Stars

    28. A Tale of Thousand Stars

    Thai Drama - 2021, 10 episodes

Snorefest. Sounds harsh? Well it’s true. The rating was extremely high for a BL and I saw a lot of comments calling this a masterpiece so naturally my expectations were high. I was interested during the first episode and I really liked Tian in the beginning. So how come his cool personality disappeared when he arrived in the village? And the chief had no personality to begin with, he constantly contradicted himself. Did they have chemistry? No. They very soon realized their feelings for each other and still nothing happened. The show kept teasing us though, for far too long. And why did nothing happen? Was it because they were afraid of admitting they were gay? No, that didn’t appear to be an issue. Well maybe for five minutes in one episode, but the show apparently forgot about that. At one point both guys wanted to make a move on the other, but the show forgot about that too.

Edit: Just saw a comment describing this drama as manipulative and yes! That’s exactly what it is!

  • Why R U?

    29. Why R U?

    Thai Drama - 2020, 13 episodes

Interesting premise, but they didn’t follow through with it. I really liked Saint in this one. Tommy seemed very uncomfortable with the intimate scenes, which made it very hard for me to watch as well

  • Vice Versa

    30. Vice Versa

    Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes

Interesting at first, I loved the guest appearances from Ohm and Nanon (I love Ohm in case you missed that) and the main guys had nice chemistry. But I soon felt the story was going around in circles and I couldn’t understand why Talay continued to push Tun away. I got tired of waiting for their relationship to develop and all the annoying product placements that were just too much. Dropped after 7 episodes and probably should’ve done it sooner. No offense to the actors though, my problem is with the script.

  • Theory of Love

    31. Theory of Love

    Thai Drama - 2019, 12 episodes

The most frustrating BL of all time! Watched it for OffGun, but Off was so awful the first half of the drama. In the second half it was Gun who got on my nerves. Very unsatisfying, I regret finishing it

  • Cutie Pie

    32. Cutie Pie

    Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes

Dumb, boring and inconsistent. I had to drop it after forcing myself through 5 episodes
