a great character journey!! i really liked pingyuan, he's smart and witty without being an arrogant, and he got to make many friends in his journey... and i found the main pairing really really sweet...and all the pretty landscape... i'll miss my daily dose of the drama...

this could've been explosive .. loved her revenge on her father and we should've stopped there... the rest was whatsoever.. junseo was the most pathetic ml ever and such a hypocrite, he believed the image in his head about ahjin and acted upon it..........

the drama started out amazing.. loved the cast and the characters and i wanted to see how they'll develop and grow. how taepoong will save the company, i wanted to see a balance between a win and lose... i wanted more of family scenes and team works... i still love the leads but wish the writer did a better job than being repetitive for many episodes.................

this was a bad mess. the first 2eps were so good, but it turned out bad very very fast... the chairman was the MVP! such a waste of jeon yeobin talent!!!!!!

this drama gave me good feelings. though the family can be loud and too much at times, but they you were genuine. and i'll MISS linyan/shaoguang, the were so cute and adorable. definitely one of my fav couples this year just so sweeeeeeeeet, wish we had more time with them instead of all the angst we got❤️❤️❤️❤️????....

bummer this was such a let down.......... i wanted something of the same quality of "run on" and this wasn't close to it.................. maybe if it focused solely on ML story and toned down the love story and the whole will they/wont they, and instead we got more time with him and those around him esp his step brother/sister we could've gotten something slightly better? the osts were nice though.

THE BEST DRAMA OF THE YEAR SO FAR!!! this drama is so heartbreakingly good!!! yixun/haitang deserve good things and good things only!!!! words can't express how good this was....

where to start...
the immortal arc was a chef kiss when it comes to our leads sima Jiao and tingyan, characters and chemistry were AMAZING!! i loved how it followed the novel closely and restored so many scenes. it was so fun that even thought i didn't like all the original stuff they added skipping them doesn't effect the flow of our cp story. just a wonderful and fun story to follow! then........
enter the demon arc and the whole nonsense we got... while i loved Jiao/tingyan and their angst moment and those moment that were taken from the novel. all additional stuff were added was a trainwreck that truly hurt the flowing of the story. starting from the clown love interest they added was a trash, the whole frost fish was a mess and many OOC moments when it came to our leads.....
the mortal arc was better than the demon arc, i loved the emperor and his fairy plot, we had so many cute and funny moments at the beginning of it which i loved... though i disliked the added plot overall it was enjoyable...
i want to thank both feiyu and yinglu for their wonderful performance and giving their all to those characters through out all those arcs. wishing for a 2nd collab in the future...
if i find that writer there'll be blood for all the mess they created.............
my score is purely for jiao/tingyan because everything else was a mess.

from the very first episode it was hard to believe the story, how did they figure out this wasn't the same general feihong?! he might've concealed his face with the mask but he can't conceal everything else? the body built and frame? the voice? the little manners like the walk how s/he speak? etc???? and why did they skip all of what made her this great general? also i didn't like how in the drama they sort of looked down on normal women at that time? it wasn't done in a way like you can be whatever you want to be but you could also learn to defend yourself just incase... sadly it wasn't like that which is a shame............. though the main leads had a good chemistry! and if i talked more i'll be in trouble....

i love love love this drama!! rewatching it made me miss yoo seungho, it feels like boy haven't been in anything in years. the chemistry here was a chef kiss.. and both seungho and soobin did a wonderful job... they don't make romcom like this anymore.....

went in thinking it'll be light drama, and was surprised to see the themes it tackled. the ml lacked the strong personality leader and was more like a mirror for us to the world of the drama but overall this was good. the little "lion" actor was charming! keeping an eye for Ono Machiko future projects.

such a sad yet filled with hope story...the acting from ngm&jyb was amazingjust as expected from them. the cinematography was great in here. and lovely set of osts.

i have a mixed feelings here. i like qingyu and her family story. her mom crushed it! but i couldn't care about the ML nor the main couple, i couldn't feel their chemistry... wish they dropped the whole romance and focused 100% on the qiao family. plus it baffled me how they insisted on promoting this as a youth romance when that's the weakest part of it!!!!! anyway the novel is millions times better as brutal as it was!

this was such a well written drama. i loved how they showed both twins progress and development through out the episodes and not focused on one and neglect the other. boyoung did a wonderful job portraying both twins showing their own charms.  and it had a lovely set of OSTs.

this was just as good as the first time i watched it. such a masterpiece and stand the test of time. great characters, plot, directing..

a gritty ride filled with action from start to finish. happy to see those monsters villagers meet their ends. so i was hoping for a good ending for keisuke as he was such an interesting character....

this started out so so good. great pilot and build up the zanghai as a character i can root for. and we had a great first foe who were very compiling, how he got his trust and got close to him. until the end of him. i found the 2nd for annoying and i just wanted him dead!!! the third enemy was bad and brought my rating down. a perfect third enemy would've been fl's mom period.. to show him and them having that strong conflict and what to choose love or hate.... still it was  great cdrama!

the leads were so loud and annoying somehow, but knowing this was partly a biography written by those people themselves kinda made me watch it in a different way and it became more bearable.  though the ending of the 2nd couple - the one who are friends with the leads- was so wild! 

i liked the cinematography of this one and that it had the feeling of a cinematic feelings, coming from a movie director explains that feeling!

this was just pure action. i didn't felt attach to the ml, or cheer him on. and the way our lead wore that plot armor through out the drama. though i liked the quality of the drama and how clear and cinematic it felt... the acting was good. if only this had a better plot and more fleshed out  characters instead of an action machine characters.

a nice follow up to the first season, loved how we saw sieun make new friends and how he slowly opened up.  and the ending was good. one of the great dramas this year!

I just wanna know.. WHY CHEN FEIYU WHYYYYYY???!!! why choose this badly written and directed drama after acting in lighter&princess you shouldn't accept any modern drama that is less than it!!! L&P should be your standard.... i want so badly to pretend that this shitty drama didn't happen and you were never part of it.... also the lead couple had zero chemistry the only character that had sort of good writing for her is the ml childhood friend and that's it. fl was bland and boring with no charming qualities whatsoever, the ml were a simp who had no self-respect or even self-love. all other characters were utter trash.

this was sad. i wish we spent more time in the present time with little bits of flashbacks here and there when necessary. letting go of beloved ones is hard, esp when one carry so much gulit in their hearts. 

the cinematography in this one was so pretty!!!

i came in for koreeda. this man knows how to tell stories in simple and engaging way yet, why so much "cheating"? i liked  the sisters relationship with each other. but i how i wish they toned down the cheating? the first sister should've learned and changed her way once she's seen what happened to her mother and how her father affair effected her. she should've done better than being the other woman. i liked the 2nd sister the most. the third sister got the best husband! the fourth was met with harsh reality.

i went into this without ever checking the sister drama "hidden love", but i was mostly pleasantly surprised. i loved the main romance and how healing it was for yifan. my girl was strong and kept moving despite all what she's been through her life. she deserves the world and sangyan giving all of that! though i was disappointed with our 2nd couple and how they wrote it badly, they could've easily gave us a fake dating turned real. also i would change some bits of the beginning and discard the almost assault plot, i hated that.

went in expecting nothing given the previous writer drama which i disliked, i was pleasantly surprised. it was good and entertaining enough. i liked the wacky ganghyeok, he kinda reminded me of house from house m.d!

it had its hit and miss. the 4th sister story was my fav! it was just perfect that i wish they lasted more and had like 20eps. love the tiger mother.
