BL Dramas and Movies with actual Happy Endings

This has a really interesting idea. There were a few parts that jumped around and you really have to reach in order to understand what is going on, but over it was pretty cute. It does get a little steamy so if you aren't into that then I advise you to skip this one. Still, it was pretty cute and I liked the main character and the small bits of comedy added.

This has to be one of my favorite Japanese BLs. Not only does it deal with a love story, but it also deals with some real-life problems that could occur with a gay couple. I loved the over-exaggerated humor that they added. It made Aoki a very lovable character. I honestly wish there was more but I was not upset with the ending and the character development for the most part.

I am not one for prolonged love triangles but this one did it just right. Light On Me dealt with some issues that a high school student might face and it was pretty interesting to watch. I rated it a little high because I personally liked the progression and how it ended. Some might agree and I also agree that it's a little high but I felt that it was different enough to spark my interest in me for a new episode every week.

The Bl couple is a side couple and there are some videos on youtube if you only want to watch their clips. The main couple's story is pretty good as well though.

I am glad that I ended up mustering up the courage to finish this series. There were a lot of things that deterred me and made me so mad that I had to take a break but it was worth it in the end. It had a really good concept and some of the execution was a little odd but the reality is that not everything is going to be perfect. No one acts like a complete prince charming and can do whatever they want and I feel that this series shows that a bit. I have mixed feelings about parts of the ending but overall it tied itself together pretty well.

I was surprised by how much I liked this series. It is one of the few that I actually watched as the episodes came out. I was so invested and really wanted to know more. The love story was cute and the action was pretty great. I liked how they expanded into something different and the way Off and Gun portrayed their characters was really nice.

Gun did a really good job in playing two different characters in my opinion. It was one of the highlights. I do wish that they could have prolonged the fight against Tod and Tawi to not make it seem as rushed, but with only 14 episodes I can see how it would be hard to do. I also really liked the 2nd couple's story but I wish there was more. I wanted to see more development between Yok and Dan but they at least got a happy ending.

I just have to say that I absolutely loved this series. I could not wait for a new episode each week. It had me on my toes and wanting to see more. I also read the novel and I felt that although there were some differences t was beautifully done.  Pete will forever be my favorite and the story just made me fall in love with him. I also loved Kinn and Porsche's relationship.

Many might think of Pete and Vegas's relationship as a sort of Stockholm syndrome but keep in mind both characters' backgrounds. There are things added and dropped from the novel but I believe that their relationship was a nice twist. I have had a special place in my heart for Vegas and although he has done a lot wrong I feel that his love story was just as good as the main characters. 

I was so happy when they added this. It was not exactly like the novel but I could see the small hints to it and seeing as this was the only side story it really helped show the progress of Kinn and Porsche's relationship.

I did really like this series and I fell in love with all of the characters. There was a lot going on and some felt rushed or dragged out but overall it was a really nice story. I was not really happy with how they dealt with a lot of the Daisy situation. It felt that they were trying to go for more but in the end, had to drop it because they wanted to focus more on the other two couples. I won't lie though, I did not even expect there to be another couple so it was a nice surprise, but they really did feel like they dropped her after a few episodes.

The arc where Daisy was really trying to find herself and try to change was heartbreaking yet really real for a lot of people. I wish they could have done more with that but seeing as it was not her story it makes sense that a lot happened off-screen.  I am happy with the resolution but I want more Daisy and Touch!!

Although this one had a happy ending I kept on getting frustrated with the back and forth. It just felt like no one wanted to say what was on their mind and how they feel. They just kept it to themselves until their boiling point and I wanted to shake some sense inti them lol. I was happy with it although I had to stop for a second and get back to it later because there were other series that I was more invested in.

I don't even know where to start with this one. the translation was so bad that it made the series into a comedy for the most part. I did not know what was going on half of the time but I could not stop laughing. A lot of the dialogue did not make sense so I only recommend this if you can handle that and basically read between the acting and the bad translation.
