I can't be bothered to write long ass reviews so this is what you get. Also a dumping ground for my thoughts as I'm watching.

1. Romantics Anonymous
Japanese Drama - 2025, 8 episodes
I really had a time focusing on this one, and once I finally got into it, it kind of just seemed so short. I did like the characters, and the overall vibes, I suppose.

2. Breeze by the Sea
Taiwanese Drama - 2024, 18 episodes
This isn't Top Star Yoo Baek, besides the actor going to a island plot (but I gathered it was a mix of a couple different island/coastal town kdramas), everything about this is very different. Much like our sea urchin ML, this kind of had a bit of a rough start, but somewhere around the middle found its heart. Sure there was a bit of a love triangle, but this isn't a k drama so the SML and ML actually kind of became friends instead. There was a bit of the story were I really felt for the ML as he had a deal with a a very rough patch in his life alone (not that I could blame the FL she was going through a very rough path of her own), and I really wish that the villagers he had come to see as his found family had been there a bit more.

3. Spring Fever
Korean Drama - 2026, 12 episodes
At some point I was like girl, if you don't want him I'd take him, lol (but she understandably had her reasons). I'd call him a himbo but he's not a dumb as he looks. Mostly just a mindless rom com if not for some very annoying characters, ie the high school students who, while acting very much like high schools, were very annoying, the teachers just being gossipy and judgemental, and the SML who could be very unlikable (although at the end of the day he was more concerned with the ML then the FL.

4. No Tail to Tell
Korean Drama - 2026, 12 episodes
This had something, but maybe it was the writing?, it just didn't really work. There were too many plot lines going on, with not enough time to really flesh anything out, like wise to many characters. Got tired pretty quickly of the evil shaman and the other dude pretty quickly. And the ending just felt kind of flat. Granted the bickering bit were probably the best part.

5. Queen of Mystery
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
I just could not focus on this one for some reason. Mainly I couldn't understand why the female lead was living the way she was (although they do explain it a bit later on),
