A lot of familiar and good actors.
It's just that the plot wasn't anything crazy good, it wasn't bad still!
I've been a fan of Drake and Sing ever since Slam Dance. Not as a pair, but as individual actors so it holds one of the special places in my heart. For that... extra 0,5.

⚠️
I KNOW I KNOW! It's weird...
But it had a lot of good valid points and issues! Mental health, trauma, you know.. Life.
If you take out the whole teddy bear thing and the cringyness of it, it's pretty dang good. Nothing super amazing of course, but still good.
Most don't seem to understand Nut and maybe it's because I've had similar problems in life or because I'm such a psychology nerd, but I get why Nut is the way he is. It might be difficult to see past his mistakes and stupid ideas, but you have to try and understand the situation he is in, has been for a long time. You don't even realise what kind of effects such mental state has to a person and how hard it is to let go of those without and with professional help.
You might be dissappointed, but if you get what I'm saying I think you should give it a try.

Art or the fandom.
I'm not very familiar with costume dramas, they've never been my favourite. For me to give 8 to such drama is a lot. Reading the novel and "being in the fandom" helped me a lot with it.
If I were to watch The Untamed without knowing about it more than the average viewer I don't think I would like it as much as I did...
I did somehow weirdly get into the story and enjoyed it a lot for a summer. It definitely stuck with me for a while. That's why I'm giving it 8,5.

Changed the way bl was perceived for some.
I'm personally glad that they toned down a lot of the NC scenes and such from the original work. I don't think it would've been right for the overall mood of the series. The cast was very well picked and they happened to all have amazing chemistry even though they admitted only going for looks first with some actors. With some the chemistry couldn't get through the acting.
Although the plot is slightly confusing the first time you watch it, I think they delivered the emotional scenes well and it kept me interested. Sometimes the scenes were unnecessarily long which is a common thing I've seen especially in Wabi Sabi productions.
If I'm being honest.. what saved Until we meet again was the amazing actors and somewhat unique plot (at the time). Otherwise I don't think it would've got the success it did.
I'm not saying it's bad, but I'm just trying to look at all the aspects and rate it as honestly as I can.

125. Between Us
Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
Expectations we're low to begin with.
As much as I love Boun and Prem I've never liked their characters Win and Team. On their own they're okay, but the poor character design, cringey story and somewhat awkward acting all add up to it. Something about the characters just doesn't feel right. Boun and Prem are not the best actors anyway, but I know they have great chemistry. Normally it would show through the characters and acting, but it doesn't.
With "Until we meet again" the cringeyness was alright because the plot was still deep and nicely written, but with this the actual plot and story doesn't feel full at all. It got boring and repetitive very quickly. They should've chosen between a more deeper serious story and a funny haha cringey one. Not combine both. It doesn't work especially if you can't write actually funny scenes. And honestly a more mature take on their relationship would've been better when you think about what it's all about. Also their sweet scenes and/or NC scenes meant nothing because there wasn't enough to be connected to the characters.
I could go into details about what didn't work, but it's better to keep it simple.
The side couples didn't get my attention either really. The only ones that got me to keep going were Yacht and Oreo. I've waited for a long time for them to get better roles and O to make a proper comeback. Plus the relationship between their characters seemed the most natural and enjoyable even though they weren't like main couple potential. They were the only ones who got me smiling and rooting for them even though they don't have that kind of chemistry.

Like come on.. It's not even that bad. Look at all the other series of that time and try to say it's worse than those. I'm not saying it was good, god no. However it's not THAT much worse than others. Plus it's genuinely funny at least.
It has a lot of sentimental value to me so I wanted to rate it higher, but I decided not to just based on the actual quality of the series.

There's not much bad to say about it as there's nothing to compare it to and they get away with a lot of things due to the style. I guess it's not something to watch when you're not in the mood for it.

143. Sai Lub Jub Abb
Thai Drama - 2017, 13 episodes
Watched it for Fluke, Blue Princes (Yoon) and Talay with Best.
Honestly it was exactly what I expected so I wasn't surprised. If it suits your style I think it's fine, but I think most of you won't enjoy it that much.
I highly suggest watching it just to see all of their baby faces and so that you have something to flex on. Almost no one knows Yoon was in a band called Blue Princes and in the same series with Talay even before their ship. Not to even talk about Talay being in a bl role in it with Best who basically connects to the first bl couple in Gmmtv.
Bit more on it in my "Non-BL list"
I had so much fun searching through the internet and shocking myself with all of the things I found out.

144. My School President
Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
One of the most entertaining highschool dramas ever...
Though I'm not a big fan of cutesy rom-com highchool dramas with teenagers this one I absolutely loved. Partly because of the pure chemistry between the actors because no matter how cringey a scene is to me if the chemistry in on point I don't care I'm gonna love every second of it. And honestly there wasn't any useless drama or cringe worthy scenes anyway. At times the problems they had to solve were very real and something everyone can relate to in one way or another. The relationship between the main couple felt really natural as well.
I would say there's a shift in emotions about mid way through the series and it was well needed I think. It deepened the whole plot. We got to see a lot more serious topics and some drama.
I was a bit sceptical about the acting at first as they are all very new to it, but I was mindblown especially by Fourths acting. That kid has some serious talent which I could also see in "Moonlight Chicken". He could go insanely far if he wants to continue on the acting path.
If I had to pick one thing that I liked and appreciated the most in this it would probably be the realness. It's not very often you seen a highschool drama full of comedy keep such a realness to it.
It also had the perfect balance of romance, comedy and drama. I can easily imagine this becoming a comfort series to many, including me. Not a lot of shows these days make you cry genuine tears of joy.
Songs are obviously a big part of this series as the actors are mostly singers. I have nothing bad to say about the songs. The whole OST is great!

Thai Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
You know when something is bad, but still so cute you can't stop watching?
That's what Meow Ears Up is. Obviously it's meant to be weird and kinda f*cked up when you think about it, but that's the thing. You're not supposed to think about the fact that they're dating a cat.
If you're someone who can turn off your brain and just giggle at cuteness overload I think it's still worth watching.
Still a 7 as it's not something that good and/or memorable.
Always nice to see GL too.

146. My Secret Love
Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
Surprisingly good!
It started out as this goofy and clishé plot with maybe some tiny new twists, but soon after it turned into a rather serious one.
I liked that there was no real antagonist (villain/bad guy) as it only focused on the relationships. I thought having so many couples would be confusing, but they kept it relatively simple too. One was already together and another one was kinda separated from the others.
However I lost interest in the "main couple" Kim&Mek (Earth and Fluk) even though I liked their acting. there was 0% chemistry and nothing to make it better either. I don't even want to talk about their kiss scenes...
I really enjoyed the other couples though! Especially Tim&Mai (Boat and Kenji). It was heartbreaking to follow their story. Just what I like.
Apart from the main couple I really liked it.

⚠️
Turned out to be not that good.. Over-rated
Up until EP.2 it seemed fine maybe even good, but after that I knew it was going to be tough to finish. I get why some people would like it. However I didn't.
It's not easy to act such cartooney bl novel-esque characters, but the characters are so unlikable. They were annoying. The acting wasn't good enough to make it better.
Also the plot dragged on for too long (a common mistake I too make). Unnecessary NC scenes as per usual with BL and it can't even be explained as a stylistic choice. It's purely there to get 14-year old pre-teens to drool and share it on media platforms.
And even if it isn't they didn't help the story move forward in any way.
At least they talked about SA..

148. Vice Versa
Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
Had higher expectations..
It wasn't bad, but I feel like there was a lot of wasted potential story-wise. It started out somewhat interesting, but quickly turned out to be extremely predictable and kinda lame. It felt like the same thing was going on forever and sometimes nothing new happened. It's really easy to fall into that trap when creating a screenplay or any type of writing. Trust me I know it well.
There should've been a bit more happening outside of the "main quest" to keep me interested. There wasn't enough buildup for the otherwise great scenes.
I'm not saying it's the worst thing I've seen, not even close. It was still worth the time I spent on it and it did have a lot of good points! Even though they might've felt a little forced at times.
Also Jimmy and Sea aren't bad actors by any means I just feel like they might have not been the most suitable pick for these roles. I don't know who would've. The characters waren't written out that well.

149. The Eclipse
Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
You know what...I had to start it again. But I like it, a lot.
The first time when I watched it I couldn't follow it at all. Up until the 8th episode I was lost and couldn't get into the story anymore. Maybe it's just me, I'm not sure.
I started it again though! Binge watched all the 8 eps and was hooked. For something that came from GMMTV during "Vice Versa" and "Star in my mind" time I feel like they did really well with The Eclipse. Thanks to great actors.
The very first episode was a little rough, but it quickly got better. I personally would prefer a bit more detail on the non-romantic side of the plot too, but I get that's not what most want and in this case I'm fine with it too because I've been waiting for Khaotung and First to be paired for like two years. (it's been a ghost ship for a while)
One thing that I have to praise is how well the characters are written! Them and the character developement seems to go perfectly with what the series is. And the cast is chef's kiss.
Amazing acting and chemistry aside, the audio seemed to have some problems every once in a while. Also the scenes in the last episode felt a little disconnected, but I get it.
Secretly I hoped for a so called sad ending, but this might be the only time I might've not been able to handle it.

Serious themes and issues are always welcome.

152. 180 Degree Longitude Passes Through Us
Thai Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
Should've been a movie.
It started out fine (tad bit confusing) and then went downhill. The story itself isn't too bad, but the main characters felt weird when you think about how they have a huge age gap too. At least they could've made the younger one a bit more mature. They should've made the difference between love and idolization much more clear too.
The acting was... fine. I don't know how Nike gets so many roles with his acting skills.
The most annoying part was how a single scene took like two episodes. And all that happened was some slow dramatic talking and staring with sombre bg music. That's why it would've been better as a movie. They could've cut down on the useless crap and make it a movie with a clear and specific theme.

153. Something in My Room
Thai Drama - 2022, 10 episodes
Surprisingly good as long as it's the uncut version.
For a "ridiculous" plot about a ghost and a human this was really good. A little bit of comedy here and there was just perfect and not even for once was I bored. I'm shocked at how good the pacing was (Especially with it having 10eps). No unnecessary drama that's there to just fill up the story, no clishé villains, just their relationship and the fact that one of them is a ghost.
It was well written and the actors had a great on-screen chemistry. They managed to keep tension in every important scene perfectly even if it was just their fingertips slightly touhing.
It's definitely not what you'd expect from such plot. Not in the slightest.
Good for almost every mood and situation.

154. Roommates of Poongduck 304
Korean Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
The pacing!
K-drama-esque and clishé obviously, but their relationship felt very natural.
Sometimes you don't start out that well with someone, but after a while you notice how well you get along despite it. You naturally grow closer with that person and let go of the dynamic that you somehow built before.
Even though it's just 8 episodes long it didn't feel at all rushed, forced nor too slow. That's not an easy thing to accomplish especially with shorter 8-12 episode series.
The actors had great on-screen chemistry and their characters were written pretty well.
A light and fun short series to watch.

155. Dear Doctor, I'm Coming for Soul
Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
Not quite what I expected, but I like it.
Took me a while to warm up to both the actors and the way the series as a whole was made (I'm not a huge fan of Wabisabi series nor medical stuff). However I was proven wrong. It talked about some serious issues and things people might face in their life in a way you don't usually see with this kind of plot. I liked the combination.
They weren't too stuck on the whole "I'm a human you're a soul reaper" thing until the very end when their relationship actually was at a stage where it made sense. I wouldn't say it's necessarily a work of art or anything, but I felt like it was better than those I've seen before.
The ending was beautiful and all, but sadly it did feel rushed. Also I'm personally not a big fan of the reincarnation thing as the kid. They could've just left it at the death of Prakan and made it into a more deeper and emotional scene.

As much as I like the actors I do not like the series a whole lot.
It's alright, but really I did end up skipping through the story even when I tried to give it a second chance. Plot felt empty and cringey even kinda dumb at times. I was hopeful when after 4 episodes and the sudded change they focused a bit more on the characters individually. But all of that fell apart too in the later episodes. All we got was some "cutesy" scenes and montages of them doing it in every corner of their house.
There was 0 buildup for anything, the characters were empty and the story didn't stay together in any way.
The only thing I can praise is the actors and some of the witty scenes that made me chuckle a bit.

158. 55:15 Never Too Late
Thai Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
Weird at times, but also great.
All the storylines were interesting most of the time. I fell from the story midway, but got bact to it in the end.
Without Bomb's love and Paul's "crush" there wouldn't have been anything that weird. Also the fact that they were supposed to be 15 didn't sit right with me. Not only were the actors too old for that, but the age gap is too much. Especially because they were supposed to be minors.
However I loved everything that was going on with Thep's family and Jarunee finding the will to live the rest of her life not regretting.
From a "bl standpoint" I'm not happy with the way the gay community was represented. Actually I'm very dissappointed in it. Although Paul's love was innocent and because he experienced something he had wished for for his whole life, they should've made it way more clear from the very beginning.
And on top of all that Paul's "friend"... He flirted around and touched young underage men (Thep in his 15-year old body). It's a fact that this happens a lot in the community and some countries more than others there's a lot of these alcoholist party all night pedos, but it shouldn't be shown in such a positive light.
BUT that aside it was good.

Thai Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
Started out very nice, but slowed down a bit too much towards the end.
I think I had my expectations set slightly too high because of the hype it was getting. I do like the plot and how it was going in the beginning. After 5-6 episodes though it felt like nothing was happening. Their relationship was already developed to a stage where nothing changes and the rest wasn't interesting enough. It had potential, I just feel like they didn't use it to the fullest and everything fell flat.

Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
Seriously entertaining.
There was not a single moment I was bored with this series. There was always at least one pair or character who had something interesting going on.
You totally forget how this all happens because of a cursed camera...
Some of the topics talked might at first seem dumb and like something everyone knows. However actually these things still need to be talked about in so many countries and places (for example pedophilia is a huge issue still in Thailand). Also it's never a bad thing to spread important information especially when it's done in a smart and entertaining way.
The representation we got was genuine and real. In the past five years I've never seen trans people being treated like any other human being in any movie or series. Same with non-binary folks.
We also got to see topics that had to do with sexualities and kinks. Which are often either overlooked or made fun of. Admittedly the dialogue was sometimes a bit awkward to listen to, but that's more of a me problem XD
I went from being interested in the main couple, to Joe and Army, to Jedi and Rose. Having huge appreciation towards all of the characters, their writers and actors.
Final episode left me genuinely happy for the characters. Couldn't help, but to smile and shed tears of joy.

163. Moonlight Chicken
Thai Drama - 2023, 8 episodes
Absolutely beautiful.
But I'm a bit torn with my thoughts.
In the beginning I was very interested in the main couple as their relationship felt the realest and maturest, but as we went on I stopped caring about them. Not to mention Jim is very annoying. To some extent I understand him, but some things I just can't.
Often I was left confused by the characters as it seemed like their emotions and thoughts kept changing without any reason. Or at least we weren't shown why they changed their mind so fast.
Although I didn't really care about the main cp I must say the acting from them and everyone else was top notch! Like wow.. Especially First, Khaotung, Fourth and Gemini I must say are exeptionally talented. And to think Fouth and Gemini were only 17 with little to no experience.
We didn't see much of Saleng and Praew, but I was really enjoying their story too.
Tho I don't think it comes as a surprise when I say (as the popular opinion is) that Li Ming and Heart were really the head of the show. It doesn't even need to be questioned. Their story was pure, beautiful and real. One that should and I think does get everyone watching feel empathy for them. As clishé as it sounds it shows that love conquers all. Not only that, but that even if someone has a disability it doesn't make them any less of a human. Someone who can give love and needs love as well, be it from parents, friends or a loved one.
I must give a big thanks to whoever wrote this beauty even if it wasn't perfect. We are in desperate need of mature and real topics.

Well, uh..
Honestly watching it for ForceBooks chemistry. Other than that and their acting I don't really like the series that much. I mean... I don't usually say it this honestly, but it's VERY basic. There needs to be something at least a bit more interesting. I'm mainly giving points to Force and Book cause they did great.

172. Never Let Me Go
Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
Had too high expectations.
I wouldn't say it quite reached them, but like I say they were pretty high. The beginning (excluding the very first episodes with Neung and his parents) was I'd say a bit rough arounf the edges, but it did get better soon. It didn't take long for me to be fully invested in the story and I found myself enjoying it a lot. I really liked the plot.
I thing the occasional cringey/clishé scenes between Palm and Neung worked great as a comedic relief between everything else. Later they were replaced with more emotional and actually sweet scenes.
For Chopper and Ben I can't say much as I did not watch their scenes. I watched when they conversed with the main cp though.
Never let me go did great with writing a consistent and interesting plot with well written characters. It made you really feel for them, thanks to the actors as well. Their emotions and decisions were very understandable. Some scenes couldn't quite reach me as their relationship was quite fast paced. I didn't have a deep enough connection to them yet.
I have to appreciate the use of references to old lakorns and songs. They might get annoying if you're too familiar with them, but most aren't. I liked the 00's feeling that was present the whole time. Some say it's more like 90's, but to me it gave 00's vibes like Love of Siam (2007)
Small things here and there, but overall I'd say it's great.

Japanese Drama - 2023, 10 episodes
Extremely heartwarming and sweet.
One thing I love about shows like this especially from Japan is how they always get the feelings right and not once does it feel like too much or too little.
Maybe they could've shared more of Yutaka's past earlier on to the viewers as I was a slightly annoyed sometimes when they shower the same flashback, but nothing more. However that's really the only thing I have to say, otherwise it was great. Hits you in the feels just right and entertains you too.
Very beautiful

Japanese Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
Simple, cute.
I knew from the start that it's probably not gonna get a whole lot better or worse. It was okay, slightly confusing, nice to watch while doing something or bored. Kinda cute and exactly what you'd expect I think.
Towards the end I did lose my interest a bit as everything happened already in the beginning so there wasn't much happening anymore. But I mean it's only 8 episodes long so it didn't feel too excruciatingly boring or anything. The drama didn't reach viewers enough.
Also a little cringey and cutesy for my taste, but that depends on who's watching so you might like it more, who knows. I did get some good laughs.

Exceeded my expectations!
(Not a bl, but a bromance however I still wanted to add it to this list)
I didn't really think much of it when I saw the trailer, but decided to give it a go still. And I am glad I did. Although it might not be the highest quality and it has some small things here and there I still think it was great. The story was good, it was well put together and I enjoyed it the whole time. I'm a fan of dark, depressing and sad stories anyway, but if you're not into that maybe it's not for you.
I didn't mind the small fantasy twist to it at all because it added just enough of something as it was otherwise very heavy. This probably wouldn't work if it was made into a series so I think it was perfect as a 2h movie.
Nothing too crazy happened so there's not much to talk about. Very serious and some heavy subjects that I think most will relate to at least in some ways. Even if you don't it hits you in the feels for sure. Shows how cruel this world is to us and how it makes us act towards not only others but ourselves as well.

Awful in a good way.
Not for kiddos...stay far away from it. Borderline p0*n
First things first both of them especially Ritsu is an idiot.
-You should always tell whoever you're sleeping with if you sleep with others and make it clear what you guys are.
-You should never threaten someone with outing them to others.
-You should never take pictures or videos of someone during bed activities (or anywhere else for that matter) without their permission nor use them for threatening.
Does not matter if you are lying or "do it for the other one" DOES NOT MATTER! If you have to it's better to just leave them. Ignore them.
Anyways as for the whole meteorite plot I was very lost on and didn't care much about. I was more invested in their relationship. Whatever was going of with Yuma's superpowers was dumb tho I laughed every time. You do really go through all sorts of emotions during this one.
I don't know how to explain it, but it felt a bit disconnected at times. Not to say it was bad I did enjoy it a lot as a series. I just think there's some things that can be improved. I did like the open end.
Overall not bad. I enjoyed it, but not the best.

183. Light on Me
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
Fluffy, cutesy and funny. Nothing too deep.
People complain about the characters and other stuff a lot, but I don't see the problem. It's a cringey high school kdrama what do you expect? Also literally Shinwoo is the best of the bunch.. Taekyung is self-centred and whiney. He never let go of his crush. Daon is a people pleaser, lier and way too naive. He isn't ready to take care of another person. (up until ep 11 these didn't become a huge issue) However I do get both of them. Especially Daon with the pressure of his parents and everyone around him. It's not easy to come out and be proud of yourself even in this day and age when there's still so many out there judging.
Just watch it when you want to turn off your brain and giggle at something. It's not that bad. Found myself actually enjoying it at some points, but I get that it's not everyone's cup of tea. Slowburn, kinda cringe and basic trope. Not everyone likes dramas like that.
I think 16 slightly shorter (than typical 16 ep kdrama) episodes was a good amount for the pacing, it didn't feel way too slow for me at least. Overall nothing felt out of place and it was definitely what was expected, maybe even slightly better. As I didn't find the trailer interesting at all.
THE ONLY thing that really bothered me was when towards the end Taekyung was all like "Oh I love Daon and can't forget him", but still at the same time said something along the lines of "I saw what it's like to really like someone, I want to return those feelings to Shinwoo" straight to Daon's face... THEN wore the ""couple bracelet"" after! That made absolutely no sense. And the whole ending was like..bish who do you like!?? Just make up your mind and stop spitting out nonsense.

⚠️
The thing is.. I actually want to rate it higher.
Not everyone's cup of tea FOR SURE! But I personally love and live for these dark, more psychological, open and slightly questionable movies. Where no words or kisses are needed. Absolutely phenomenal acting, conveying complex human feelings. The tension, attention to details! Just magnificent to look at.
As for the story itself I thought it was very beautiful yet painful for the most part.
I don't know how many actually realize what the whole thing about them fighting and suddenly stopping themselves was about.
And I'd love to explain it here more, but I think everyone needs to figure the meaning behind everything on their own and it would take too long. It has to do with physical intimacy and their feelings tho to put it simply which I LOVED (been there done that..I know the feeling). Why they were like that and never changed to better? Well, although we don't know the time period, it seems like it was something to hide and something they had a hard time admitting even to themselves.
The two of them not having much experience when it comes to love, acceptance and freedom from friends or family alongside struggling financially and emotionally explains pretty much the whole movie. BUT the problem that I have with this one is...the ending. Not them ending up with other people, but the whole death, jail, stealing stuff. I know it does happen when someone is driven over the edge and the illness in their brain takes over (again I've been there "done that"). Was it really necessary for the movie though..? Maybe I'm just uncomfortable relating with something so real and awful.
This is for sure gonna be remembered by me for long even when I'm rating it as 7.

186. My Personal Weatherman
Japanese Drama - 2023, 8 episodes
Is it anything else other than two good looking actors with chemistry?
Plot is weird and cringe, screenwriting sucks. Too many flashbacks and timeline gets very confusing. If only the writing was better.. Because there were some parts here and there I found interesting. Like Mizuki finally finding someone he feels comfortable with instead of tiring himself while pretending to be okay with his "friends". And every time it was about to get enjoyable something stupid happened and I went back to thinking wth is happening..?
I got bored so many times, but ended up finishing only because the two main actors were fine and had some potential.
The whole sl@ve contract aspect, being creepily possessive and jealous, the pure disrespect and dishonestly, stalking and whatnot. Just no.
I guess it was meant to be an ero-manga made into a series just like they said in it basically. So if you like ero-manga maybe you'll like this one too...

Nothing too crazy and I kinda liked the whole idea of them getting paired at work. It's just that their feelings weren't really shown or explained enough so it felt like suddenly they just changed for no reason. Their relationship didn't really make any sense..

Thai Drama - 2021, 12 episodes
Boring.
I've been putting his one off for so long for multiple reasons and my expectations weren't high to begin with, but I was still disappointed.
I won't be saying the main reason why I knew it wouldn't be good, but the plot was lacking so much important information about the story and characters, there was no emotional buildup and even the delivery was below average. Everything felt so fake and not in a good funny way either. Acting was overall just meh, okay, I guess.
It was waaaay too long for no reason. The nonsense drama that felt like nothing...
And if you're gonna make a series that's basically just NC scenes at least make it less cringey so people actually watch them. Had to skip most of them just like everything else.
Few times I giggled at some ridiculous scenes, but that was really it.
BUT I got to see Strong acting a little again <3

190. Tokyo in April Is...
Japanese Drama - 2023, 8 episodes
Wow! That's different and I liked it.
Yes it follow the typical style of japanese bl, but it's also so far from it.
I think the characters were very well written and felt real. Trying not to spoil too much... While yes the romance was lovely I think what tied everything together perfectly is everything else. There were a few heavier subjects which I think were portrayed and told pretty well. Love to see something different and a bit of angst.
Some say it's slow and maybe it is considered a slowburn, though I don't think it was. It did have some less important filler towards the end where I think they could've focused fully on the main couple, but it wasn't too bad. Even if they aren't together after like the second episode it doesn't mean the show is slow... It's about how fast their relationship and feelings move forward.
A lot of people are also complaining about the chemistry and acting...I didn't see anything wrong with either. I mean sure it wasn't anything mind-blowing, but definitely not so bad that it would bother me in any way.

192. Kiseki: Dear to Me
Taiwanese Drama - 2023, 13 episodes
⚠️
Rough, but quite dang enjoyable.
As expected from the author, even if the story as a whole is just decent there's details that really affect how the series is perceived. Things like "How lucky he is to be able to take life seriously". It's just a sentence, but with a bit of knowledge you know what it means and where he was coming from.
Sure a bit cringey and as I said rough around the edges, but still alright.
What's with the minors tho? Why? Couldn't they be 18 and not 17... I know some things come naturally and Ze Rui did either look like or say he regretted it as he knows Zong Yi is underage. That's why he refused in the beginning. It's just that there's no reason to write about minors like this.
Liked the bit of comedy here and there too.

Excruciatingly slow and confusing. Unless you're totally up for following something like that and in the mood for it... It's gonna be hard to watch.
I was so confused by what was going on and what it was even about cause the first episodes were basically just about them making videos from haunted places.
Only near the end where stuff finally started to happen I could watch without skipping much or doing something else while watching.
The acting I'd say was okay, didn't really feel any chemistry though.
I have to say it was great to have intersex representation!

Tragic and beautiful.
So many famous people worked on this masterpiece and it's no wonder how it's so popular worldwide.
One of those movies where though it makes you cry while watching, it's only after the movie you really realise all of the details and symbolism. Open interpretation and ending leaves you thinking, wanting to watch it ten more times.
The confusion is definitely present in the beginning, but that is on purpose as we follow the story from every characters perspective one at a time. We humans only know oursleves.
I'd be spoiling the movie if I were to tell too much and since it's very open ended everyone needs to see it for themselves.
I really don't have much to complain about might even be that with time I'll end up liking the movie more and more.

Bromance? HAHAHAHHA!! No, but kinda.
As someone who has watched the original at least 10 times and read the novel it's really difficult to accept any other adaptation of it. As it's own series yeah sure, but as an adaptation...
It followed pretty much the same exact pattern with some things done differently and for a reason. I can't really say if it was better or worse, it just was what it was.
Could they have done it better? Sure. Could they have picked more suitable actors? Definitely. Not that they couldn't act the roles well, but they just didn't suit the characters imo.
After ep.5 I started to enjoy it more and compared it less and less to 'Addicted'. Though I would say it did get a bit boring and slow towards the end. And just like in the original work when Su Yu started figuring out how Wu Bi's mom died it wasn't made in a very interesting way.
