  • The Rise of a Tomboy

    1. The Rise of a Tomboy

    Chinese Movie - 2016

    6.0

i hated it purely because i didn't like the fl. i personally hate the "im not like other girls" character and this fl was exactly that. she tried to act all differently and stuff and i didn't like it. overall i don't think this was a good movie even as a stupid corny romcom. its just stupid. i think the concept was not that bad though

  • Bow Then Kiss

    2. Bow Then Kiss

    Japanese Movie - 2017

    7.0

i completely forgot that i watched these past 3 movies in 2023 so forgive me for the fact that i can't remember anything from them. im gonna trust the current rating and say it was probably  a 7 star movie. i mean it seems like an average japanese romance movie so there's probably not much too it.

  • The Golden Spoon

    3. The Golden Spoon

    Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes

    8.0

honestly just watched it because im a fan of sungjae and chaeyeon. it was kinda boring. literally took me two months to finish it. i think the last few episodes of the drama are really interesting,  except for the ending. like what kind of ending was that? felt random. other than that, the plot twist was interesting and the villain was soo fine.

  • The Glory

    4. The Glory

    Korean Drama - 2022, 8 episodes

    8.5

watched it cause literally everybody and their mama was talking about it. though its a kinda basic storyline on a girl getting revenge on her bullies, it still is very interesting and i liked the way she plotted the revenge in a way it wasn't illegal.

  • The Glory Part 2

    5. The Glory Part 2

    Korean Drama - 2023, 8 episodes

    8.5

I admit, its a really good drama. i think the ending is satisfying. everyone got what they deserve at the end. the only thing im mad about is the fact that we didn't see kang hyunnam  reunite with her daughter. its not one of my favorites but it is one of the best dramas ive seen,

  • Lovesick

    6. Lovesick

    Taiwanese Movie - 2011

    8.0

it wasn't as bad as i thought. it was actually kinda cute and that one scene where they were singing "cant take my eyes off you" to the old patients was sooo cute. i dont really understand the really low rating.

  • The Three GentleBros

    7. The Three GentleBros

    Thai Drama - 2022, 18 episodes

    8.0

kinda cute and funny story about 3 brothers who weren't planning on finding love but did anyways. the second story was the best and the cutest. the mom is really annoying though.

  • MARS - Tada, Kimi wo Aishiteru

    8. MARS - Tada, Kimi wo Aishiteru

    Japanese Drama - 2016, 10 episodes

    8.5

tbh i thought it was going to be way worse because of the ratings but it was actually not that bad. maybe its because i didn't read the manga but i think it was an interesting story. the plot twist was kinda predictable even though i didn't read the manga or get any spoilers.

  • Mars: Tada, Kimi wo Aishiteru

    9. Mars: Tada, Kimi wo Aishiteru

    Japanese Movie - 2016

    8.5

i thought it was interesting how the drama focused on the ml's past and the movie focused on the fl's past. the ending was kinda lazy but it's still a good ending anyway. i just have one question. what happened to the sml?

  • Love between Fairy and Devil

    10. Love between Fairy and Devil

    Chinese Drama - 2022, 36 episodes

    10

OH MY GOSH. Literally the best cdrama i've ever seen. i can't believe i didn't want to watch it. this was my first costume cdrama and it did not disappoint. it was so sad, especially the last part of the drama. i was hoping the entire time that they would have a happy ending because of the amount of things that had to go through and endure just to be together. I did start this because of esther. ngl, the fl was annoying at first but I was able to endure her voice because it was esther and i've seen her in many dramas already that i got used to her voice. about half-way through she and her voice matures anyways. I love this drama so much and i will probably never get over it. the only thing i have to criticize is the ending and the fact that the sml brother didn't die cause honestly, he was the worst character in that drama. this was the first cdrama to ever make me cry so much and probably the drama i cried the most too. i just really really love it.

  • Taxi Driver

    11. Taxi Driver

    Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes

    9.5

i wanted to start this because the plot was interesting and i really like dramas that have different plots and stories between episodes. out of the cast, i was only a fan of pyo yejin. tbh the little hint in the relationship between kim dogi and goeun was not what i expected. i went into this  drama not expecting romance but when they put subtle hints that they like each other, how am i not supposed to ship them. I was really interested in the beginning because of all the different revenge stories and how they took revenge but then about half-way through they kinda stopped doing that and it was only focused on the main villain. but other than that it was still a really fun and exciting drama to watch. this drama made me such a big fan of lee jehoon. his acting is so good. the way he's able to act as so many different characters in this drama is amazing. my favorite has to be either the high school teacher or WANG TAOZIII!!

  • Taxi Driver Season 2

    12. Taxi Driver Season 2

    Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes

    9.5

season 2 was just as good as season one. i kinda liked the villain in this one more but the stories in the first season were better. my thoughts this season were kinda the opposite of season 1. during season 1, i thought the first part was more interesting than the second part. but in season 2, i think the second half is more interesting than the first half. ALSO, they keep adding all these scenes with goeun and doki. i wasn't going to ship them when i first started season 1, but by their 2nd scene together, i was screaming and fangirling over them. besides their relationship, i love the family relationship between the rainbow taxi company. they are literally family. my favorite characters of the ml was probably when he play as a couple with goeun, the country bumpkin, and probably the best one, THE PSYCHO PRISONER

  • The Killer Is Also Romantic

    13. The Killer Is Also Romantic

    Chinese Drama - 2022, 18 episodes

    8.0

this was something short i decided to watch because i was kinda in a small slump after finishing taxi driver. its not bad, its just that the subs feel really inaccurate and don't really make sense. so it was hard for me to understand the story but i could still get a grasp of it.

  • Unlock My Boss

    14. Unlock My Boss

    Korean Drama - 2022, 12 episodes

    8.0

wanted to watch this drama because of chae jonghyeop and seo eunsoo. its not my favorite. the plot twist was kinda unexpected but also really annoying. i kinda felt bored as i kept watching it and they literally killed the best character. though i love them, the romance between the ml and the fl felt kinda forced.

  • Gaus Electronics

    15. Gaus Electronics

    Korean Drama - 2022, 12 episodes

    9.5

really funny drama. i wanted to watch this because everyone said it gave welcome to waikiki vibes, which is one of my favorite dramas. i watched it and it did not disappoint. the main couple might've been my favorite characters because i loved their bickering and how funny and cute they were. also i love dramas that have like different plots between each episode. the titles of the episodes were unique and interesting too.

  • The Starry Love

    16. The Starry Love

    Chinese Drama - 2023, 40 episodes

    9.5

i actually liked this a lot. i wasn't expecting to cry while watching this but i did when qingkui died. she was my favorite character. I love the sl couple they are so cute and i love their story. i actually was way more interested in them than the main couple. tbh, am i really watching a drama if i don't find the sl couple more interesting than the main one. the mortal arc was super cute though. but the ending was so unsatisfying and i will forever hate them for that. also, why are heavenly emperors the biggest POS in costume dramas like, you're literally in the heavens. shouldn't you be the good guys? Qing kui is my favorite character, i literally love her and i love that she thinks towards both sides (even though that killed her TT )

rewatching in 2024: i dont remember it being this funny lmao. like ive been rewatching most of the void scenes and just those scene are enough to make me laugh. haichao is seriously so funny and the first prince

  • Love to Hate You

    17. Love to Hate You

    Korean Drama - 2023, 10 episodes

    7.0

i watched this because everyone said it was good. i was not amused. neither of the couples were interesting to me and i was bored. the main characters were so annoying and their relationship was honestly kind of annoying too. i do not see the hype. Though I don't mind enemies to lovers, it's not my favorite. Which might be the reason I don't like this. But at the same time, the reason they hated each other was because he hated women and she hated men. Idk its weird. but the second lead couple was insufferable. i found them to be way more annoying than the main couple. i actually skipped every single one of their scenes. at least the main couple had some chemistry that could make it a little bit enjoyable. IDC Lee joobin carried this show

  • The Left Ear

    18. The Left Ear

    Chinese Movie - 2015

    8.0

i don't really know what to say about this. i think it was okay. its a great movie to just watch in your free time. Its a nice story about how a girl's best friend and ex lover move on past her death. its very interesting nd i didn't hate it.

  • My Little Happiness

    19. My Little Happiness

    Chinese Drama - 2021, 28 episodes

    8.5

liked it way better than i thought i would. usually i like the second lead couple way better than the main couple and though i did, the main couple was really cute too. i think i really like this because there wasn't an overbearing number of couples and the leads had so much chemistry. both couples actually had chemistry. the little "misunderstanding" they had wasn't actually that frustrating. usually i don't feel bad for the sml. this time, i really didn't feel bad for the sml. its not because i don't like him. i just don't see the need for his character. kinda skipped almost all the scenes he was in. Currently my favorite modern cdrama

  • New Year Blues

    20. New Year Blues

    Korean Movie - 2021

    7.5

why am I watching this in may? idk. When I watched this, i was currently watching tteotm. chen duling's character was starting to get annoying so i wanted to watch something of hers so that i wouldn't be annoyed as much. I realized she was in a korean movie (which also had a lot of other actors I knew) and i wanted to check it out. Needless to say, there's nothing interesting about this movie. for me it wasn't boring but it still didn't interest me. i wasn't super interested in couple to the point that if any one of them didn't end up together, i wouldn't care. but it is a good movie to just watch because you have nothing to watch or something to pass time by.

  • Till the End of the Moon

    21. Till the End of the Moon

    Chinese Drama - 2023, 40 episodes

    8.5

wow so i remember everyone talking about this when it was airing. i was in the middle of watching lbfad and became more interested in watching xianxia dramas so i wanted to try this one since it seemed similar to it. well i was wrong. It's actually completely different from lbfad besides the devil ml.  unfortunately being the stupid person i am, i read spoilers before and while i was watching it.  im pretty sure i would've enjoyed the drama way more if i didn't get sucked into spoilers. that also means that i didn't cry because i got spoiled about what the ending was going to be. i still think this is a great drama to watch because of the acting and characters and unique storyline. if only i didn't spoil myself i would've rated it much higher. also i dont care what anyone says, i liked ye bingchang and the two demons.

  • Psychopath Diary

    22. Psychopath Diary

    Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes

    9.5

i  watched this because the plot seemed interesting and kinda unique so i wanted to watch it and honestly, this was a thrill ride. the way it balances the comedy and the thriller in this drama is so good. you find out who the killer is from the first episode but that doesn't take away from the thrill and anticipation throughout the drama. yook dongshik is honestly the funniest male lead ever. the way he truly believed that he was the psychopath killer. i loved the ending too. his ending fit him soo much. i also really like the fl here. she's smart and she really works hard on her job. the main villain was also smart....and hot. lol even though he is attractive, i still had a big smile on my face when he was caught. my favorite part was the side characters for sure. the ml's family and coworkers were so funny, and i can't forget about the best person in this drama, JANG CHILSUNG!!!! ohhh how much i love him. i do think that the drama might've been a little bit slow towards the middle but the last few episodes definitely made up for it. from the point dongshik was arrested to how they caught inwoo was definitely thrilling and i wanted to watch the next episode to see what happened and how they caught him. i also can't forget about the comedy. i love how it can go from super serious to super funny real fast. im not gonna lie though i went through pure torture and was just embarrassed every time dongshik did something because he thought he was a psychopath.  i think this is an underrated drama that a lot of people should watch more.

  • Circle

    23. Circle

    Korean Drama - 2017, 12 episodes

    8.0

i never watch these types of dramas so i don't know why i wanted to watch this one. they do really well with the plot twists and cliff hangers.  i like the format too. it was like watching two dramas in one. like the 2017 part was season one, then the 2037 part was season two. it was so satisfying seeing moments from both parts click together like a puzzle. I loved how we saw the connections between the characters from 2017 to 2037. like trying to figure who kim joonhyuk was, and wondering if he was woojin or beomgyun. seeing the older park minyeong first wondering who she is then seeing her younger counterpart in 2017.  i remember finding out that lee hyunseok was the senior in 2017 and i freaked out. I was most surprised when i found out who the villain was though. i didn't expect him to be evil because they made him look like he was a good guy and there was another person who could obviously be the villain. I seriously thought han yongwoo was going to be the main villain but then they reveal that park donggeun was the real villain in 2037 then we watch his 2017 self starting to become evil. I have to talk abt one of the best characters on this show, and that is lee dongsoo. I love him, both in 2017 and 2037. he is so funny and i love his relationship with both brothers.  the detective is also one of the best characters.  honestly, i wasn't that interested in lee hosoo a lot. but he did have a good character development. 2037 woojin actually being a clone and the real woojin dying was so surprising. it's really sad that the real woojin died. and i didn't know which side to choose in the argument debating whether he was really woojin or not. i like the ending ngl because it gives the viewers an interpretation on who byul is and where she came from. overall really solid drama and i would recommend it, even if this isn't the type of kdramas you watch.

  • The Forbidden Flower

    24. The Forbidden Flower

    Chinese Drama - 2023, 24 episodes

    9.5
  • Enigma

    25. Enigma

    Thai Drama - 2023, 4 episodes

    8.5

really good and thrilling drama. though its only 4 eps it gets your really hooked. 4 eps is actually perfect for this drama because that means it doesnt drag on too much. i really like the two leads and their chemistry together. all the supporting actors also did well. the ending did somewhat point to a season 2 so hopefully that comes out soon.

  • Doona!

    26. Doona!

    Korean Drama - 2023, 9 episodes

    8.0

AHHH DOONA!! Ive been waiting so long for this drama to come out and its HERE!! yes i binged watched it in one day right after it was released. ive been seeing people compare this to nevertheless, but this was way better than nevertheless. I thought the editing was weird so it made some scenes awkward. i saw soo many people hating on this drama saying it was slow and boring. yall are just not made for this type of drama. doona isn't an easy fanfic romcom. soo don't come in here expecting all rainbows and sunshine. firstly, i like doona and i like wonjoon. i think they're good together. The only thing is i didn't really see how his feelings started to change from jinjoo to doona. I love the parallel between those scenes when they apologize, which brings me to my longest topic...the ending. before watching this i read a few chapters of the webtoon and watched the anime.  i know in the webtoon he ends up with ira and ind the anime he ends up with doona. now, as like everyone else, i was soo confused on the ending. at first i was like wait did they end up together or not. after reading what everyone else thinks, i will say my interpretation of the ending. they ended up together. thats it. i like to think that the drama ended with that on scene of them hugging each other. since that scene parallels the other apology scene, i would think that means they end up together because first apology scene ended with them forgiving each other which means the same could be said for the other one. the theory that they are secretly together but not in public is a good theory that i would best believe. now one of my favorite parts of this drama is how they did ira. i wasn't really a fan of ira in the webtoon and i liked her in the anime, but, i love her in the drama. Ira's personality here is actually much different to the other versions. (look at notes)

  • All These Years

    27. All These Years

    Chinese Movie - 2023

    8.5

ive been wanting to watch this movie since i found out about it cause i love both the leads. i only started watching like 6 months later because i finally found the time for it. its a good movie. ofc its not gonna be like an out of this world nothing seen before, but its still a really emotional movie. ngl i was like scared for a sec in the end. i thought it was going to be a sad ending but that changed it up in the end. i know it was totally unrealistic but i was hoping she would go back to him. i love the ending scene too. i was scared worrying that he wasn't going to accept her feelings or something but it ended up being my favorite scene in the end. i started crying once he said that line about her having to pay for their honeymoon. ohmygosh that was the cutest scene ever. they have some really good chemistry and they're soo good together. i was confused tho on when they got together besides the ending scene. when did they get together in high school? was it after the birthday party or what? bc im not sure there was a scene where they officially go together throughout that whole movie. but whatever they ended up together in the end and that is what matters. also i hated the mother. like she was soo mean throughout the whole movie. and they tried to make her a little redeemable by saying she "cared" for the fl the whole time, like i dont remember one scene where the mother was nice to her. im kinda glad we never saw a scene of the mother and fl making up to each other. anyways i think this is a very good movie and it was interesting to watch. i hope they have a drama together so i can see them again..

  • Sweet Home

    28. Sweet Home

    Korean Drama - 2020, 10 episodes

    9.0

this one is just a rewatch lol. i first watched sweet home a few years ago, maybe a little bit after it released...? i dont really remember. but bc szn 2 is airing in a month, i wanted to watch it again so it's kinda fresh in my brain. ive seen a lot of people not liking it and that it was not good compared to the webtoon but idrc. i really love all the main characters like i wished all of them survived but sadly that was not the case. i remember who died so i didn't think i would cry again but when jaeheon and eunhyuk died, i was crying so hard. ngl i remember being so confused for the last 2 episodes when i first watched it and when i rewatched it, it was still kinda confusing but i got some help with some comments. anyway im excited for szn 2 and i heard that they changed the story from the webtoon so hopefully webtoon fans don't get so angry with this one. but sad thing about season 2 is that we won't see lee dohyun :((

  • The Escape of the Seven: War for Survival

    29. The Escape of the Seven: War for Survival

    Korean Drama - 2023, 17 episodes

    8.5

AND WE HAVE COME TO MY MOST ANTICIPATED DRAMA OF THE YEAR! this was the only drama that ive been watching ongoing this year and the first one in a while. my main reason for watching this is bc it was made by penthouse makers and lee yubi is in it. i remember being so excited just watching the trailers and photos. i think this drama started off strong but after ep 13 i was kinda done with it. i defended it at first bc it was a makjang. makjangs are supposed to be unrealistic and overdramatic. but sometimes it can get overdone. matthew being k was the worst plot twist i had ever seen. i actually liked k when we only knew him as kim dohoon. but then he ended up being matthew and he got ruined for me because i hated matthew. another controversial thing about this drama was the romance between dohyuk and mone. unlike everyone else, i didn't hate it. as i said before i first started watching it for lee yubi and it would be a waste to cast her and lee joon together in one drama and not pair them up. when i mean pair up, i don't necessarily mean as a couple but just scenes with them together. if making them a couple is what it takes for them to have scenes together then so be it. but ngl i do cringe watching their moments together. this drama was soo funny just like penthouse. makjangs are really just comedys in disguise. i understand why people don't like this drama tho. the story kinda started off strong but in the end it kinda crumbled. props to some of the actors though (besides go myungji ? sry) because even with this chaotic drama they could still stay in character and go along with it. all jokes aside, i wont say whether i thought this drama was good or bad bc it depends. i, like many other people, thought that the drama was insane and stupid but it was fun to watch and i loved when everyone was freaking out. i won't ever forget how i felt when i watched ep 12.

  • Sweet Home Season 2

    30. Sweet Home Season 2

    Korean Drama - 2023, 8 episodes

    7.5

i was disappointed. Actually this season made me realize how good season 1 actually was. i will say what i liked about it first. the first 3 episodes, especially hyunsoo's and uimyeong scenes were entertaining and interesting. but after ep 4 they took the whole focus off of hyunsoo. how are you going to not have the main character for almost half the show? most of the characters from season 1 that survived died in season 2 so that made it more boring. i was bawling when the sister died and i thought killing off jisu was so unnecessary. the only characters i cared about was eunyu, hyunsoo, uimyeong, and yikyung. i did not care for any of the soldiers, tho they are really fine. i didnt care for chanyoung at all. im sorry, unlike everyone else i thought his character was plain boring and i hated that they tried to pair him up with eunyu. all their scenes together should've been with eunyu and jisu instead but they haadd to kill her.  i thought everyone besides the main characters from last season was boring. im not complaining that they added new characters cause ofc you need to have new characters for a new season, but im more salty about the fact that they didn't show the main character for 3 episodes adn only focused on characters that were irrelavent. like i'd rather have it focus on the scientist with hyunsoo and uimyeong. thats why after ep 7 when hyunsoo came back, i ended up skipping all the other scenes of the military and the side characters. i love the scene when hyunsoo came back cause i missed him soo much and i love him and eunyu together. their last scene together had me screaming. also whats with the amount of buttcheeks in this season. we saw 4 different buttcheeks of 4 different characters. not that im complaining. BUT LEE DOHYUN COMING BACK AT THE END WAS CRAZY! hopefully he's a main character for season 3 and the series will focus more on hyunsoo and uimyeong in season 3.
