    1. Go Ahead

    Chinese Drama - 2020, 46 episodes

*started in 2023 but finished in 2024* okay i will say that i only started watching this because it was getting a korean remake with hiy and jcy. in the end its a really good drama. i can understand why its so liked and why its getting a remake. however like many other people the romance wasnt hitting it for me and it bugs me that the mom is forgiven at the end. other than that its a really good and heartwarming drama. he ziqius relationship with his mom is easily the best growing relationship in the drama. however, I wished that there were more scenes of just ling xiao and he ziqiu. like we see the relationship between all three together, jianjian with lingxiao, and jianjian with ziqiu, but I feel like we don't see enough of the relationship between lingxiao and ziqiu. they would either be with jianjian or when they did have scenes alone together, they would just talk about her.  I wished they had more bromance scenes together. i will say that i thought the other side characters were a bit unnecessary like ziqius friend or jianjian workplace friends. but i really like qi mengyue and tan can.  hemei and li haichao were probably my favorite romantic relationship in the drama. go ahead is essentially two dramas in one. the high school era and grown up era. high school focused on family while adult focused on romance

lmao i had a longgggg break from watching asian media, i mean its may now. almost half a year. but anyway i wanted to watch a movie and this movie was chosen through a random generator. surprised i havent watched it sooner considering i have already watched suda masaki and komatsu nana past two movies already and theyre one of my fav couples. This movie is emotional. i definetely cried at the last scene. i am a bit bitter that they didnt have more scenes together but i get why.  also where was yumi? i know she and the other dude divorced but i thought she was going to be a bigger character. she couldve easily be one of the bigger characters rather than adding some random girl that i didnt care about (riko). I know its a happy end overall with them meeting again and getting married but i still wish we could've seen more of them. like at least one more meeting and parting around the middle cause the ending really is kinda fast. they hadnt seen each other for so long, even longer since their first reunion, and then they were married. it feels like they hadnt thought about each other for years and then suddenly they're running towards each other. i guess its to show that they never stopped loving the other??. nevertheless its a beautiful and emotional story overall.

AHHHH IT FINISHEEDD IM SOBBING RNN, I cant lie I'm so depressed that this finished. This drama got me through my entire freshman year. the way that it started back in September when I just started high school and now its may and I'm almost done with school. this is my biggest guilty pleasure drama. this whole week I've been in denial bc I didn't want it to end but now that it ended I cant stop crying. this drama sucks in terms of writing but it was fun. it was fun to watch, all the characters and what stupid things they would do next. it was fun so that's why I rated this a bit high. Id rather watch dramas like these than boring ones that are good. okay I'll start talking about the actual drama right now. I never expected rahee to die bc I thought she was one of the main characters. the ending was underwhelming but at the same time fitting. the fact that that was the last scene makes me think that mone was the real main character after all. I like how mones and hannas relationship parallels with rahee and dami. only they could've made her look older. also WHY WAS THERE NO MONE DOHYUK SCENES AT THE END OF THESE LASTFEW EPS????? they were literally the whole reason I even started watching. the last scene however, might hint that they reconnect again tho... anyway overall, I hate this drama and I love it. and I will miss it so much. I will always remember this drama as the drama that got me through freshman year.

First off I love kang Hanna and i was so excited for her first main female lead role in a romance. But I thought this drama was going to be a lighthearted comedy with sitcom like humor, however that goes away very fast. this had a great setup to be a good comedy drama with a guy who can't lie but they through that all away. I don't mind that it turned into a life drama. like with jeonghoon and his problems, or kibaek with his, but personally without the humor, it just turns into a very boring drama. Even with some boring dramas though I still try to enjoy them but this was too boring to the point that I don't even like this drama. the romance is boring, the drama inside the drama is boring, everything about this drama is boring. like I can tell in about a month I'm gonna forget everything abt this. infact I already have while writing this. kibaek and woohoo relationship, though cute, felt flat. idk it just feels unnatural. jeonghoon was annoying at first but I ended up relating to him the most. the dating show in the middle felt like a whole new drama. usually there's at least one side character I enjoy but here there was none even though there were many. towards the end it becomes unnecessary with the mom and car accident. idfc about the mom. i don't have any emotional feelings towards the mom and so I don't fuking care that she was in a car accident.  I didn't enjoy this and every episode just felt loong. waited 2 years for nothing

  • Young Actors' Retreat

    5. Young Actors' Retreat

    Korean TV Show - 2022, 8 episodes

    8.5

Loved this show. I haven't really watched a variety show like this. Only running man, knowing bros, and mostly kpop variety shows. But this was super fun to watch and probably very rare to get all these top actors together for 3 days. I first started watching this for hwang inyoup because I was really missing him while I was waiting for his new drama and I saw some pretty fun clips from here. I loved everyone on here. ryu kyungsoo was the only actor I didn't really know but I became such a big fan of him at the end. actually I've become a fan of everyone on this show now. There's a few pairings that I really liked, pbg + hiy, kyj+ljy, kdy + rks, and even though they worked on litm together, I would really like to see kwak dongyeon and chae soobin in a drama together as the leads. there's a few ppl I wish got more screentime or stood out more like jinyoung, sungeun, and haewon, but I feel like overall we go to see a lot of these actors personalities. My favorite parts were definitely when they first met each other and how awkward it is. When they had to play games in mixed teams  was definitely fun because it showed interactions with different actors. That's something I always like to see. the haunted house was also really fun. I loved seeing hiy's and rks reactions. the water game was also really fun. I never knew hiy was such a funny man. I hope this show helps hiy land on more variety shows. Hopefully we get to see him on more shows with his upcoming drama.

  • My Name Is Loh Kiwan

    6. My Name Is Loh Kiwan

    Korean Movie - 2024

    8.0

it was okay. I didnt feel emotional or anything sentimental. i wasn't like hyping up the couple but to be fair i always feel like romance movies are fastpaced. also it mightve been that ive only seen sungeun as a highschooler while ive only watch song joongki as an adult..anyway this movie was fine. I didn''t feel anything. it was just watching. i will admit, it didn't make me bored so that's a plus. overall its a fine movie, ending was predictable

  • Sweet Home Season 3

    7. Sweet Home Season 3

    Korean Drama - 2024, 8 episodes

    8.5

WAY BETTER THAN S2!!! I was hooked by the first ep already. there are so many things that i liked about season 3 better than season 2. before watching i watched a season 2 recap video and rewatched the last episode of season 2. that was extremely helpful. i love that we were able to see more hyunsu. i think this season was more enjoyable bc season 2 was more of a setup for this season. this season we got a main villain, the main character is back, and we pretty much established most of the characters. there were some characters that i didn’t like in s2 that i loved in s3, such as hani, yeseul, and yikkyungs kid. eunyu, eunhyuk, and hyunsu are back and they’re like the only og season 1 characters that are alive. well  i think young soo came back at the end also. MONSTER HYUNSU IS SO FINE I LOVE HIM SMM!!! monster hyunsu with emotionless eunhyuk was so crazy. his tension with minsi as the monster is also crazy. i didn’t cry this season. none of the deaths made me cry but i did feel bad especially for all the military dudes, yikyung and her child, and the old man with the gun. anyway totally prefer this season over season 2. the ending is also great and mostly makes sense. though there was one scene with yikyungs child that looks like she came back?? idk…anyway shoutout to hani bc she was my favorite character, besides the main 3.

  • Panyachon Kon Krua

    8. Panyachon Kon Krua

    Thai Drama - 2012, 12 episodes

    7.0

watched this for markim so may be a little biased.  Overall it's pretty cute but there are so many things wrong with this drama. first off the multiple sexual assault attempts on the fl is crazy, like nark, the short husband, and a bunch of stupid villains. next I hate how forgiving they all are. forgiving the short husband and jong was so stupid and annoying. ESP JONG. she is my opp istg. she was out for aem for the entire series and did so many horrible shit but then at the end everyone forgives her like blah blah blah. then not to mention the ending. I HATE timeskip endings when its the main couple seperating and then reuniting years later. this one is not as bad bc it was only one year but still. annoyed tf out of me esp since they don't actually get togetheruntil the LAST 10 minutes. the fact that they had feelings for each other for almost the entire series but they don't actually get together until the very end is some lazy and bs writing. I didn't even know pong and aem were a couple until halfway through and whenever I thought they were finally going to break up bc aem told him she liked tam, it NEVER HAPPENED and in the end, he was the one who broke up with her bc he started liking aon. honestly didn't hate aon as much as I thought. at first I was wondering why they had 2 annoying girls who didn't like the fl but aon had a kinda early character development and I feel like her bratiness was justified, cant say the same abt jong tho. I also liked her little sister, the gay brother, and the fl's friends. one thing I did like abt this drama was how aem helped each of the fam members. but the things I hate, the forgiving of the evil characters, the weird creepy and characters, and most of all , the STUPID LAZY ENDING!! like u make the fl go overseas, ml doesn't reach her in time, 1 year later she comes back, they get together...couldn't even give us more than 5 minutes of them as a couple??

  • A Love So Beautiful

    9. A Love So Beautiful

    Thai Drama - 2024, 18 episodes

    7.0

I wanted to like this so bad for dew and prim but I just couldn't. I started this when it was airing but I didn't end up finishing it until October...so I can't really remember much. one thing I can say is that this was boring. I never even watched the og alsb yet I know this doesn't feel like a remake. I was so excited for this. I watched a bunch of clips from the og cdrama and even some clips from the kdrama that I was kinda excited to see happen here but it never happened. not even the sl couple could save this. I just can't like this. also why is he doing a whole love confession at someone else's wedding?? also there's no way tao just let chadjen get her that easily. ending is kinda cute tho, better than the other Thai drama I watched this year...

  • Family by Choice

    10. Family by Choice

    Korean Drama - 2024, 16 episodes

    9.5

This was my most anticipated drama of 2024 so lets talk abt it. Im biased bc i love hiy and jcy but i wont say it was better than go ahead but it wasn't worse. I love their hs era. they were the cutest there. there is some things that the kdrama does better and some things that the cdrama did better. first is haejoon and dal. ziqiu and mingyue endgame was robbed but here haejoon and dal are. another thing is having a bromance between sanha and haejoon. i felt like in the cdrama it wasnt seen very well so i like how the kdrama did it.  ngl i didn't like huiju or junho. i love how they cut haejoon wanting to marry juwon in 1 ep. but i def think the cdrama was better at developing the story. sometimes longer is better. for this type of story it wouldve been better as a slowburn so i do think sanha and juwon was too fast. but i love sanha and juwon together anyway. i was also skeptical bc i knew they spent so much time filming the hs era but i don't like that they made half the series hs and half the adult. honestly they wasted some eps on the hs era that could've been used for the adult era. ep 1 couldve been kids, ep 2-6 hs, and ep 7-16 adult. i also feel like the mom thing was resolved badly. i felt a little bored around ep 12-14 but the last 2 eps were really good. other than that it reached my expectations. oh and i also have to talk abt daeuk bc  i liked jungjae better at first but by the end i loved dauk way more. hes so funny. i have been with this drama since it was announced. i have been there for every small crumb to the promotions and i can't believe its ending. i didn't cry while watching until the end of the drama when haejoon found out where juwon was. it was a funny scene yet i cried bc it reminded me that this fun trio was going to leave. and i love that they ended the drama the same way as the cdrama with the wedding and picture. im happy that i got to experience it for the past year.

  • Squid Game Season 2

    11. Squid Game Season 2

    Korean Drama - 2024, 7 episodes

    8.5

I think this season is just as good as the first season. but I think this season had way more  major characters so it was hard for me to connect with most of them.  I was honestly skeptical bc they casted so much big names but I decided to give it a shot. the games were honestly so stressful this season tho. I mean from the first ep with the rock paper scissors, I felt so bad for the boss. as I said before it was hard for me to connect with the characters bc there was so many important ones but the ones I really liked the most not from last season were wooseok, hyunju, youngmi, daeho, nouel, and gyungseok. the only time I cried was at youngmi's death. hers honestly hit the most even though I kinda got spoiled that she would die. the only spoilers I got was that Thanos and 246 was going to die. but idk I still have hope that 246 is alive bc they didn't show his body and he didn't have that much screentime this season. ntm that nouel obvi is going to do smthg Abt his child and him. the only characters I hated was player 100 and the shaman lady, they were so annoying. at least Thanos and his friend was funny. I also don't hate minsu, he reminds me of that one kid on the roof in aouad. ngl junho's boat scenes were boring and I skipped most of them. I could see the captain betrayal and jungbaes death from their first appearance. I don't understand why gihun never thought once Abt 001, its not like at the last squid game 001 turned out to be the creator so why wouldn't 001 this time just be a normal guy??  overall okay, I think the games here are more interesting but I prefer the characters in season one more.
