POTENTIALLY CANCELED BL (AS OF NOV 2025)

Listed as coming out in 2021, but no updates that I can see. May be canceled, which is a shame, because BL thrillers are rare.

This was announced four years ago (as of Feb 2025) and hasn't had any updates in a long time. Looks like this one may be canceled.

Possibly canceled as current lead actor is a murderer, but they could potentially recast his role. Here's hoping there's justice for his poor girlfriend. That's obviously more important than the show coming out.

Honestly, looks like a mess, might be canceled, but it could still come out.

Over a year without updates, however it's probably for the best. Lots of controversy surrounding the director, and apparently the first season was awful.

This is supposedly still on, but they recast the lead and have to reshoot a bunch of it, so... I don't know. It's been a long time with no updates. I'm thinking this may actually be canceled.

After being canceled in 2019, this one appeared to be back on the table. However, it had been erroneously updated, due to the show of the same name based on the third novel. These are two different companies, and this version still seems to be canceled. Which is perhaps for the best, given the very controversial and disturbing plot.

Well over a year with no updates, and a lot of Pinoy stuff seems to flicker in and out. Too bad, since it featured real couples, which would have been cool. EDIT: One of the leads has sadly passed away, further cementing the idea that this is probably canceled.

This title seemed doomed from the start and has faced many issues. After a full recasting and numerous other changes, the show was promised to be released soon. Then another year passed with no updates. Might be time to let this one go.

There isn't a lot of information on this project from the start, but it was estimated to come out quite some time ago and simply hasn't updated in years.

Several boxing BLs were announced around the same time, and all three were abandoned, it would appear. Wandee Goodday was saved by GMMTV and is scheduled for 2024, but this one has been nothing but radio silence. Probably canceled.

While this looked intriguing, it unfortunately seems to have been abandoned. It was meant to come out in January 2023, but there have been no updates since. Also, apparently multiple people involved have since left the company. No official announcement, but this appears to be dead.

Normally I wait at least a year to add a title to this list, but it appears that those involved were trying to get fan-funding through pre-orders and couldn't even fund their special episode. It seems likely that a second season isn't in the cards for them.

This is a common trend with announced Filipino titles. Many never come to pass these days. It's harder to verify, too, as I struggle to find solid sources for Filipino BL content in general, but it's been two or more years without any info on the show.

After missing its initial presumed deadline, it's been nothing but silence from this project. It doesn't seem likely it's still on.

My heart is broken, as I was very excited for this show. The cast, the action/mafia plot, how exciting and sexy it looked. It was all everything I'm always looking for in a BL and rarely get. Alas, looks like this company bit off more than it could chew, so unless someone else saves it, like with KinnPorsche, this isn't likely to come out.

This one breaks my heart into pieces like some of the others on this list. I was really looking forward to it, but several years with no word, especially when this isn't a Thai production, makes it likely we're not ever getting the series version of the movie.

One of the bigger tragedies, given the unusual and exciting plot/costuming, but Domundi is a bit of a mess with casting lately, and I'm not sure if this will ever happen. We can hope, but at the moment, it doesn't seem as likely.

I don't know if this was ever official, but it seems unlikely to happen. I'd love to get better closure on the first season's story, but to avoid getting our hopes up, we should consider this one potentially canceled.
