Unlike more cinematic BLs, this one is theatre on film and it is exquisite. 

Achingly tender story of young love and desire. Humpty Dumptied my heart.

3/4 of the movie takes place in harder times so TW for homophobic bullying and some violence. 

Time and dimension-bending mafia mystery with beautiful chemistry between all the main leads. 

What would you do with your four minutes?

The actors are absolutely phenomenal in their portrayal of this found family. Our main couple juxtaposes what it means to know yourself, with being willing to unknow what you think you know in order to truly love.

It is both brutal and cozy at the same time. 

A man meets his ex while a meteor threatens to End life on earth in ten days.

Though it has a few blind spots, it’s so well acted and put together that you just get lost in the beautiful rumination on what really matters. TW: self-harm.

Never-ending love begins when two young people meet in a Taekwondo gym, separate, and reunite years later. Over the course of their decades long relationship, we learn who is pulling their punches and why. 

One of the most honest, mature portrayals of people and love in BL. I also love how tight this drama is. No wasted side stories. No conversation is superfluos. TW: Abuse 

Real and imperfect. I still think about this couple years later. Banging soundtrack, great acting and cinematography. A treat for the senses. 

Coming of age at its best 

Who is who (creepy, beautiful, stalker) and what is love all depends on your point of view. This drama takes faith but sticks the landing. And is oh my beautiful to watch. 

Two men with history begin an in-office FWB relationship. Together they grow to understand how their internalized shame about what they truly prefer is stubbornly standing in the way of love.

The serious parts are serious, the fun parts are fun, the steamy parts are steamy. Don’t be stubborn and just enjoy this gem. Sorn and Jun have my whole heart. 

PS - for a fun drinking game: drink every time the sun rises or when there’s an HR violation ? 

Simple young love story made cinematic with its beautiful acting and cinematography.

Watch this drama in winter to bask in its summer warmth and color.

A friends group that’s a lot more than only friends. 

I loved every minute of this hot mess of a drama-filled friends group. 

Sexy gay mafia bodyguard that actually goes way deeper than you’d ever expect.  TW for abuse, lots of guns, and an incident of dubious consent.

The story is batsht crazy but it totally works. 

Romeo and Juliet, star-crossed lovers Sun and Peace struggle in the dark mafia-run corners of Bangkok. As their families wage war in the streets, Sun and Peace fight to not be consumed by the darkness and war.

This raw, gritty, unrelentingly violent drama has some imperfections, especially mid-drama, but it’s undeniably special. TW: Attempted SA and violence. 

Cute and endearing story of two film students who tackle perceptions and insecurities. 

It’s a short drama with heart. 

Slice of life. Just a thoroughly enjoyable BL
