Masterpiece of queer storytelling. Cinematography, spicey scenes, soundtrack, acting, plot - everything truly shines. 

Between the force fields of his larger-than-life mother and his dead father, a young man seeks the truth and confronts head-on the lines love draws - the ones that connect us, the ones that divide us, the ones we should cut, and the ones that multiply around us like cages.

Unlike more cinematic BLs, this one is theatre on film and it is exquisite. 

Achingly tender story of young love and desire. Humpty Dumptied my heart.

3/4 of the movie takes place in harder times so TW for homophobic bullying and some violence. 

Time and dimension bending mafia mystery with beautiful chemistry between all the main leads. 

What would you do with your four minutes?

The actors are absolutely phenomenal in their portrayal of a found family who need to be willing to unknow what they think they know to truly know love each other.

It is both brutal and cozy at the same time. 

Loved every minute of this hot mess of a drama-filled friends group. 

Who is who (creepy, beautiful, stalker) and what is love all depends on your point of view. This drama takes faith but sticks the landing. And is oh my beautiful to watch. 

Real and imperfect. I still think about this couple years later. Banging soundtrack, great acting and cinematography. A treat for the senses. 

Sorn and Jun have my whole heart. Together they grow to understand how their internalized shame about what they truly prefer is stubbornly standing in the way of love. The serious parts are serious, the fun parts are fun, the steamy parts are steamy.  Don’t be stubborn and just enjoy this gem.

PS - for a fun drinking game: drink every time the sun rises or when there’s an HR violation lol. 

Coming of age at its best 

Slice of life. Just a thoroughly enjoyable BL

Sexy gay mafia bodyguard that actually goes way deeper than you’d ever expect.  TW for abuse, lots of guns, and an incident of dubious consent. The story is batsht crazy but it totally works. 

Low budget masterpiece. Romeo and Juliet star crossed lovers. Mobster stuff and violence. 

Simple young love story made cinematic with its beautiful acting and cinematography. 

Campy, questionable, sweet and wonderful.
