Loved, loved, loved the manga.
The drama does the manga justice.
The high ratings here and on Douban are well deserved.

The first episode is a challenge to watch, since the fl starts out extremely shy.
But thankfully it starts to change fast.
Wholesome coming into-your-own story. 

Amazing acting by the whole cast. Including the child actors.
Since it covers DV, it is in parts difficult to watch.
Have your Kleenex at your side and the time watching this show is time well spent.
HEA.

On the surface these 2 shouldn’t work as a couple.
But if you dig deeper, you’ll find, that they compliment each other and are capable through their individual volatile personalities, to give each other exactly, what the other needs and to push each other to grow.
And in their fascinating unique dynamic they keep evolving as individuals and as a couple.
While the show made some changes, to give the storyline closure, the novels are keeping their story and their development still going …

One of the first dramas I ever watched. And I LOVED it.
Uplifting and wholesome friendship.
A drama classic for a reason.

Adorable love story.
While watching it the 1st time, I missed partially, that the fl isn’t the only one, who has some serious issues with selfworth.
How they fall into love with each other and grow to fully accept themselves, is beautiful to watch.
And how our shy fl stands up full force for her Hikaru, if necessary, is an amazing sight to behold. She’s a trooper you want in your corner.

Alone how the music is used in this drama made it worth the time.
Add likable characters and a well executed storyline into the mix and you have a good teen movie.

Our unlucky guy is too lovable in his misadventures, he constantly encounters.
I missed a proper kiss at the end.
But I love the MCs still to pieces.
