Since I started watching Asian dramas in 2011? Romance.
Life is too full of harsh realities as it is. And my sarcastic and cynical nature doesn’t need additional nutrition. 

# How do I rate dramas?
Generously.
If I don’t like or “feel” a drama, I will drop it. Time is precious.
If the mood strikes, some dropped shows are getting a 2nd chance later on. 
Most of the time I just want to be entertained. If through suspense, humor or daily life drama depends on my mood and the chosen show at that moment.
Tropes can be well travelled, but should be executed well and only used in a befitting way nonetheless. As long as that is the case I am a happy costumer.
