I almost never rewatch dramas, but I liked the main couple in this one so much that I'll definitely watch it again. It's such a shame that the promotional cover they used doesn't do justice to either the couple or the drama. They had excellent material to have made a much better cover.

Okay, I have to say… Quan Quan (the little kid actor) was cast so perfectly! Seriously, he fits the role effortlessly.

Every scene with Quan Quan is a whole mood, totally heart-melting. His acting feels so natural and expressive.  He brings charm, and honestly, watching him is the highlight of the entire drama.

I loved his interactions with his parents, but what really caught my attention was that he called them by their names too. It added a layer of emotional maturity to his character.

Quan Quan may be a kid, but he steals hearts without even trying. ❤️

Honestly, this has to be the worst drama 

I’ve seen this year.

Because Ren is such a talented actor, I really wanted to watch. To be fair, his performance as the Emperor was the only thing that saved this drama. Everything else? A mess. The script was all over the place, confusing, nonsensical, and badly written.

The character of Imperial Preceptor Du as an antagonist was unbearably annoying at best, insufferable at worst. She didn’t feel like a real character at all, more of a mess‑maker, which only got worse thanks to the absurd twists the writers kept throwing in.

I kept watching through all the nonsense, hoping for a happy ending… Silly of me!
