Watched (Cdramas)
A list of C-dramas I’ve watched, along with some of my thoughts and impressions on each.
-
1. Reset
Chinese Drama - 2022, 15 episodes
Both leads delivered incredible performances — a truly amazing drama that’s 100% worth watching.
-
2. Love Like the Galaxy: Part 1
Chinese Drama - 2022, 27 episodes
An absolute masterpiece — every episode has its place. A truly great drama with exceptional performances from both the leads and the supporting cast. Without a doubt, one to watch over and over again.
-
3. The Best Thing
Chinese Drama - 2025, 28 episodes
Absolutely incredible — definitely one of my all-time favourite romance dramas.
-
4. Hidden Love
Chinese Drama - 2023, 25 episodes
I’ve already watched it five times, and it was worth it every single time. I’m sure I’ll end up rewatching it countless more — my ultimate comfort drama forever!
-
5. Amidst a Snowstorm of Love
Chinese Drama - 2024, 30 episodes
A beautiful story about two professional billiards players from different leagues who meet in Europe, fall in love, and build a relationship from there. Definitely another one of my ultimate comfort dramas.
-
6. Coroner's Diary
Chinese Drama - 2025, 38 episodes
An incredible drama — brilliant performances from both the main and supporting cast, top-tier production (one of the best I’ve seen in this genre), a compelling and authentic story, and deeply written characters with believable backgrounds.
-
7. You Are My Secret
Chinese Drama - 2024, 32 episodes
Absolutely delighted with this one! I could watch it over and over again. Miles Wei is easily one of my favourite actors — he’s got chemistry with absolutely anyone (even a wall!).
-
8. Story of Kunning Palace
Chinese Drama - 2023, 38 episodes
I really loved this drama — a true gem, mainly because of the amazing performances from the leads and the solid script. Both the main and supporting cast were brilliant. That said, it’s one of those stories I probably wouldn’t rewatch, even though I thoroughly enjoyed it.
-
9. Falling into Your Smile
Chinese Drama - 2021, 31 episodes
My very first C-drama, and it will always be memorable — I’ll always have a soft spot for it. I especially love dramas that involve video games or e-sports as an important part of the story.
-
10. Only for Love
Chinese Drama - 2023, 36 episodes
Absolutely loved it! Bai Lu and Dylan Wang have such amazing chemistry — they’re both incredible actors and make the story even more captivating. Definitely a drama I’d rewatch more than once
-
11. Love Like the Galaxy: Part 2
Chinese Drama - 2022, 29 episodes
I really loved this drama, but because of all the back-and-forth moments and a few scenes that didn’t quite work for me, I couldn’t give it the highest rating. Still, it was a great watch overall.
-
12. Love Song in Winter
Chinese Drama - 2024, 36 episodes
I really enjoyed this drama. If it weren’t for a few minor issues near the end — especially the whole kidnapping part — it would easily be a ten for me. I’d definitely rewatch it without hesitation.
-
13. Don't Disturb My Study
Chinese Drama - 2021, 24 episodes
One of the best high school romances out there — sweet, engaging, and really well done. I’d definitely rewatch it. I absolutely adore the FL; she’s such a great actress.
-
14. Exclusive Fairytale
Chinese Drama - 2023, 24 episodes
Another high school romance that’s definitely worth watching. I could rewatch it a thousand times and never get tired of it. I also absolutely love the actress who plays the FL — she’s one of my favourites.
-
15. Unforgettable Love
Chinese Drama - 2021, 24 episodes
I really enjoyed it — super cute, light-hearted, and with an excellent performance from the cast.
-
16. Fateful Love
Chinese Drama - 2024, 40 episodes
I really enjoyed both the story and the characters, main and supporting alike. The large and varied cast made the drama very entertaining, though a few of the smaller subplots were left unresolved and could have been developed a bit better.
One thing that felt slightly off was how the king of their country never appeared again at the end, despite everything his son went through and the fact that his kingdom was caught up in a major war.
Overall, it was a great watch, and I have to say this is the best performance I’ve seen from the FL in any of her dramas — she was truly outstanding.
-
17. Legend of the Female General
Chinese Drama - 2025, 36 episodes
Really enjoyed this one! Amazing lead actors, especially the FL, and a story that kept me engaged throughout. A few parts were a bit frustrating and some episodes slightly weaker, but overall it was a great and satisfying watch.
-
18. Road Home
Chinese Drama - 2023, 30 episodes
I really enjoyed this drama. It’s one of those stories that you can just relax and have a good time watching, without needing constant tension or major plot twists. Simple, light, and very pleasant to watch.
-
19. Love Is Sweet
Chinese Drama - 2020, 36 episodes
I really enjoyed this drama — the two main actors were incredible, and their chemistry was truly amazing. The story itself is light, fun, and easy to follow. My only complaint would be the secondary couple, who didn’t stand out much and felt rather forgettable.
-
20. Time and Him Are Just Right
Chinese Drama - 2022, 25 episodes
A really sweet and tender youth romance. My only complaint would be the poor communication between the MLs while they were apart — and even for a while after they reunited, until they finally talked things through. Aside from that, I really enjoyed it; it was a lovely watch.
-
21. Blossom
Chinese Drama - 2024, 34 episodes
I really enjoyed this drama, though a few small details kept it from being perfect. The revelation about the ML’s brother felt a bit unconvincing, and the final battles could have been handled better. Other than that, I liked everything — it was a great watch overall.
-
22. Back for You
Chinese Drama - 2025, 12 episodes
The drama follows several small cases that unfold throughout the episodes. As usual with this kind of story structure, some cases were more engaging than others, but none felt out of place or poorly done. My only real complaint is the unclear ending — I’m not a fan of those, and it left me wanting a bit more closure.
-
23. You Are My Glory
Chinese Drama - 2021, 32 episodes
A true comfort drama — definitely one I could watch more than once. My only real issue with the story is that the ML treats her rather coldly in several moments, and she forgives him a bit too easily. I would’ve liked it even more if he’d had to beg for her forgiveness just a little longer.
-
24. You Are My Hero
Chinese Drama - 2021, 40 episodes
I really liked this drama, although at times it felt like she cared more for him than he did for her. Still, it was enjoyable to watch and had some genuinely sweet moments. The male leads were incredible — both delivered amazing performances that made the story much more engaging.
-
25. Make My Heart Smile
Chinese Drama - 2021, 24 episodes
I really liked the relationship between the main leads — it’s sweet and genuinely enjoyable to watch. The usual conflict isn’t too serious, and the SFL isn’t particularly relevant, which actually makes the story more enjoyable. The only downside is that it’s quite easy to forget once it’s over.
-
26. Professional Single
Chinese Drama - 2020, 24 episodes
I really enjoyed this drama and had a great time watching it. The chemistry between the main leads was lovely, but the SFL could be quite annoying and dragged some scenes down a bit.
-
27. Please Feel at Ease Mr. Ling
Chinese Drama - 2021, 24 episodes
Overall, it’s a really good story with an amazing actress whom I absolutely adore in every drama I’ve seen her in. Both the beginning and the ending were well done, though a few episodes in the middle felt a bit slow and less engaging. Still, it’s an enjoyable watch, mostly thanks to her wonderful performance.
-
28. Go Ahead
Chinese Drama - 2020, 46 episodes
I liked it, but I think she forgave him a bit too quickly. The romance felt rather meh — the family relationships were actually much more engaging. The romantic storyline seemed a bit forced, and there wasn’t much chemistry between the leads. They worked better as friends than as a couple.
-
29. When Destiny Brings the Demon
Chinese Drama - 2025, 33 episodes
Up until episode 20, this drama was a solid ten for me — I was absolutely loving it. But then they decided to introduce the amnesia plotline, which I honestly can’t stand, and it completely ruined the story for me. First one of them loses their memory, then the other… it just drags on and becomes exhausting to watch.
That being said, the cast was outstanding — both the main and supporting actors delivered amazing performances. The female lead, in particular, was incredible. She completely stole the show, and I’m really looking forward to seeing her in more dramas.
-
30. A Dream within a Dream
Chinese Drama - 2025, 40 episodes
It’s one of those dramas that starts off a bit slow but gradually gets better and more engaging. I really loved the main actors and the chemistry between them — they made the story so much more enjoyable. By the end, it becomes really entertaining, and I’d definitely watch it again.
-
31. Love O2O
Chinese Drama - 2016, 30 episodes
A very good drama and one I could happily watch more than once. It has a few weak parts, but overall it’s enjoyable, well-paced, and easy to rewatch without getting bored.
-
32. Royal Rumours
Chinese Drama - 2023, 24 episodes
I really liked this drama, especially the beginning, which has that constant touch of humour running through it. The main leads are great, and the supporting characters are also quite good. However, the villains felt a bit weak and underdeveloped, which was a bit of a shame.
-
33. 19th Floor
Chinese Drama - 2024, 30 episodes
It starts off incredibly well, with strong characters and a solid story, though it dips a bit in the middle as the leads lose some of their initial spark. Luckily, it picks up again later. The usual amnesia trope makes an appearance — a favourite among Chinese writers — but since it only lasts for less than an episode, it didn’t really bother me. What truly stands out is the variety of supporting characters, all very different and enriching the story, along with two great leads played by actors I really like.
-
34. Go Go Squid 2: Dt. Appledog's Time
Chinese Drama - 2021, 38 episodes
I preferred the theme of the first season — the whole robot storyline felt a bit dull to me, and I didn’t love the overall change in direction. Still, I really liked the main couple; they’re both adorable and have a much more mature and supportive relationship this time. In the end, I actually enjoyed this season more as a whole.
-
35. Love Scenery
Chinese Drama - 2021, 31 episodes
I really liked it, although the first parts of the game gave me a bit of secondhand embarrassment, it quickly gets much better, and everything else is totally worth it.
Not sure if it’s a platform issue or how the drama was produced, but sometimes the voices sound dubbed in post-production rather than recorded live on set — something common in the industry, but rarely this noticeable.
The chemistry between the main leads is great, and although I’ve seen negative comments about the FL, I personally liked her performance. The secondary couple, however, felt a bit dull. -
36. Lost You Forever
Chinese Drama - 2023, 39 episodes
I really enjoyed this drama. The beginning is quite sad, and I have to admit I didn’t like her cousin very much at first. I can tolerate him now, but he’s still not my favourite match for her. The second male lead is definitely my least favourite — he’s so “innocent” that he ends up doing harm without even realising it.
The third one is, without a doubt, my favourite. The white-haired guy suits her best and their chemistry feels the most natural. The fourth is good too, but since he appeared less, their connection wasn’t as strong.
Overall, it’s an emotional and enjoyable story with characters that leave an impression, even if some of them test your patience along the way.
-
37. Nice to Meet You
Chinese Drama - 2021, 24 episodes
I liked it a lot; it’s really enjoyable and easy to watch. I might even rewatch it someday. It’s one of those dramas you know isn’t the best, but it leaves such a good feeling that you just can’t give it a lower rating.
-
38. Memory Lost
Chinese Drama - 2016, 12 episodes
This season is definitely my favourite and the most interesting one, as it introduces a really good storyline. There were a few small details I didn’t love, but nothing major. The cast was great — I didn’t know most of the actors before, but I’ll definitely be checking out more of their work.
-
39. Everyone Loves Me
Chinese Drama - 2024, 24 episodes
Two incredible actors with truly strong performances. The only downside for me was the male character — he was so frustrating at times that he ended up stressing me out throughout the whole drama.
-
40. Lost You Forever Season 2
Chinese Drama - 2024, 23 episodes
I liked it less than Part 1, mostly because I wanted her to end up with the white-haired guy — I thought they had much better chemistry than with the other one, who was far too spineless. I also didn’t like how her so-called brother never stood by her and let himself be led by power.
Other than that, there’s nothing really wrong with it — the acting was great across the board, and all the leads fit their roles perfectly.
-
41. Lady Revenger Returns from the Fire
Chinese Drama - 2024, 24 episodes
I really enjoyed this drama, especially the beginning. The last few episodes were a bit disappointing though, which was a shame since I’d loved everything leading up to them.
-
42. Once We Get Married
Chinese Drama - 2021, 24 episodes
Really sweet and funny, with great chemistry between the main characters that makes it easy to get invested in their story. Their interactions felt natural and genuinely heartwarming, and the humour worked well throughout most of the drama.
However, the SFL was quite annoying and made some scenes unnecessarily frustrating. I also couldn’t bring myself to care about the secondary couple — their storyline felt dull and didn’t add much to the plot. Still, the main couple more than made up for it, and overall it was an enjoyable watch that left me smiling by the end.
-
43. Perfect and Casual
Chinese Drama - 2020, 24 episodes
I was only interested in the main couple — the other two bored me. Still, it’s a good romantic comedy with two leads who fit this genre perfectly. Very cliché, but that’s not a bad thing for me — it actually makes it even more enjoyable.
-
44. Dr. Cutie
Chinese Drama - 2020, 28 episodes
I liked it quite a lot, especially the beginning, but the last few episodes didn’t really work for me because of the endless misunderstandings caused by the lack of communication between the three leads. This is one of those cases where I actually wish the FL had ended up with the other guy — I think they had much better chemistry.
-
45. Light Chaser Rescue
Chinese Drama - 2022, 40 episodes
I liked it overall, though there were moments when the leads really got on my nerves. They were entertaining to watch, but their actions and decisions were occasionally frustrating. Still, it was an enjoyable drama for the most part.
-
46. Go Go Squid!
Chinese Drama - 2019, 41 episodes
Some of the early episodes were quite hard to watch — the way the FL practically chases the ML made me cringe so much that I even skipped a few scenes. Her whole personality seems to revolve around following him, which is disappointing considering she’s meant to be a genius in computer science and AI, as well as a famous singer. The writers barely showcased those traits except in a few moments.
The comedy, however, is the real highlight of this drama — without it, getting past episode 16 would have been almost impossible. Thankfully, from that point on, the story improves a lot and becomes much more enjoyable, which actually made me end up liking it.
Overall, the acting was solid across the board, especially from the leads, who are both excellent actors and delivered great performances.
-
47. Present, Is Present
Chinese Drama - 2024, 16 episodes
I’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for time-travel dramas, and this one didn’t disappoint. It’s not among the best I’ve seen, but it’s still a solid and enjoyable watch. I had a great time following the story, and I really liked the performances from the leads — especially the ML.
-
48. Fake It Till You Make It
Chinese Drama - 2023, 14 episodes
I really enjoyed it while watching — it was fun and engaging at the time — but I have to admit that as the days passed, I realised I don’t remember much about it. It was entertaining in the moment, yet not particularly memorable.
-
49. Since I Met U
Chinese Drama - 2022, 16 episodes
To be fair, it didn’t exactly wow me, but it’s a decent and easy watch. With only 16 episodes, some parts felt a bit rushed and a few plot points could’ve used more development. Still, it’s light and entertaining enough to keep you watching.
-
50. Well Dominated Love
Chinese Drama - 2020, 24 episodes
I actually liked this drama, but the memory-loss plot — which I honestly can’t stand — made it less enjoyable for me. I usually love the boss–secretary cliché; it’s one of those tropes I almost always find fun and comforting to watch.
Unfortunately, the amnesia twist ruined some of that charm and made the story feel a bit forced and predictable. Still, the leads were good and there were some nice moments, so it wasn’t a total loss. Overall, it’s watchable, but not one I’d revisit anytime soon.
-
51. Love Me If You Dare
Chinese Drama - 2015, 24 episodes
Not quite what I expected — I thought it would be more like Criminal Minds. The main leads gave strong performances, and I really enjoyed the friendship between Professor Bo and his best friend; their scenes were definitely the highlights. The touches of comedy were also a pleasant surprise, though the foreign actors’ performances felt quite weak. Overall, it was a decent drama with some great moments, but the ending left me a bit cold.
-
52. Memory Lost Season 2
Chinese Drama - 2016, 12 episodes
I liked this second season as well, though not as much as the first one. Some parts felt poorly explained and a bit off, which occasionally pulled me out of the story.
-
53. Scent of Time
Chinese Drama - 2023, 30 episodes
There were things I liked and others I didn’t. The acting from the leads was quite good, especially Zhou Ye and Wang Xing Yue. However, because of the way the story developed, I didn’t really feel much chemistry between their characters.
-
54. Way Back into Love
Chinese Drama - 2020, 26 episodes
It was fine and entertaining enough, but a bit bland — I didn’t see much chemistry between the leads. The first ten episodes were quite boring, especially watching her chase after him while he barely reacted. In the end, it turns out he liked her too, ever since their school days, just like she did, but that part didn’t feel very convincing.
-
55. Dance of the Sky Empire
Chinese Drama - 2020, 28 episodes
The main cast is solid, with Xu Kai and Wu Jia Yi — especially Xu Kai, who really stands out.
However, there are quite a few cringeworthy moments that are uncomfortable to watch. The leads were introduced as powerful figures, but they never lived up to the expectations set early on. From episode 16 onwards, the drama becomes rather disappointing.
Overall, it’s a wasted storyline that could’ve been so much better if it had focused more on the ML’s true identity and the mission to save the Dragon King, instead of wasting time on the childish relationship issues of an immature couple.
-
56. Sweet Teeth
Chinese Drama - 2021, 22 episodes
I liked it, but I didn’t love it. It’s fine for a good time, but I don’t think I’d watch it again. The story had potential and started off quite well, but it never really reached its full depth. The pacing was uneven — some parts were genuinely engaging, while others dragged on a bit too long.
There are three main couples — some better than others, but none particularly outstanding. The leads were decent, though their chemistry wasn’t especially strong, and a few emotional moments fell flat. Still, there were some enjoyable scenes and lighthearted moments that made it worth finishing.
Overall, it’s an average drama — pleasant enough to watch once, but not one that leaves a lasting impression.
-
57. General's Lady
Chinese Drama - 2020, 30 episodes
At first, it was quite hard for me to get into it because the FL’s personality just isn’t the type I usually enjoy in historical dramas, and she doesn’t show much growth — she keeps getting into trouble, her husband has to rescue her every time, and she still ends up blaming him. Despite that, it’s a light and easy watch overall, the kind of drama you can put on during a rainy weekend when you just want something simple and comforting without needing to think too much.
-
58. Forever and Ever
Chinese Drama - 2021, 30 episodes
Dull
Even though this drama didn’t fully convince me, Bai Lu once again reminds me why she’s one of my favorite actresses—she carries the entire show with ease. The real issue lies not with the male lead’s actor, but with how his character is written: bland as plain toast for most of the story, only showing some genuine affection in the final episodes.
The plot also doesn’t have enough substance to justify 30 episodes; it feels stretched and would’ve worked far better in a shorter format.
-
59. Fall in Love Again
Chinese Drama - 2024, 21 episodes
I don’t have a particularly strong opinion about this drama. I liked it well enough while watching, but it didn’t leave much of an impression on me. The story was okay — nothing amazing, but not terrible either. It’s the kind of drama that’s fine for passing the time, yet not one I’d ever feel like rewatching.
-
60. Maiden Holmes
Chinese Drama - 2020, 32 episodes
Overall, I liked the story and enjoyed it, but the resolution of the mysteries feels rather shallow, and there’s not much chemistry between the leads, even though they spend most of the time together. Also, the FL is meant to come across as strong, but she’s constantly being saved by the ML, who’s the one always making the plans to defeat their enemies.
-
61. Memory Lost Season 3
Chinese Drama - 2016, 12 episodes
This last season is definitely my least favourite. If you pay close attention to the details in the previous two, you can easily predict much of what happens here, which makes it lose a bit of its appeal.
-
62. Cry Me a River of Stars
Chinese Drama - 2021, 24 episodes
At first, I was really enjoying it — it had great humour and a nice flow. But what I just can’t forgive, and what really ruined the story for me, is that he marries another woman and betrays the FL. Even if he did it to save his subordinate and friend, and even if nothing ever happened between him and the other woman, it still took away a lot from the story.
-
63. Be My Cat
Chinese Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
It’s quite bland overall — nothing special. It improves a bit in the middle but loses steam again towards the end. I’ve liked the FL’s acting; she’s a great actress, even if this drama doesn’t really show her full potential.
-
64. Cao Xuanxuan's Love Journey
Chinese Drama - 2025, 21 episodes
Low-budget series with great leads, though they don’t shine here as much as in their other dramas. The story idea is actually pretty good, with an Agatha Christie vibe, but the execution falls flat — plot holes, weird time jumps and messy direction ruin the flow.
ML pretends to be dumb so his older brother won’t feel pressured or try to kill him. He’s shown to be smart, but most of the time it’s the FL who solves the cases way too easily.
There’s little character development and almost no chemistry between the leads, since their relationship isn’t really explored. The ending? Confusing.
-
65. Love Script
Chinese Drama - 2020, 24 episodes
He pretends to be insane, and the FL, who’s a psychologist, is hired to make it look more convincing — without knowing the truth. As they spend time together, they slowly fall in love, but it’s all built on a lie. When she finally discovers the truth, she’s furious, and he tries to win her back…
The only reason I’m not rating it lower is because I don’t think the actors’ performances deserve that — they did a good job with what they were given.
-
66. Cute Programmer
Chinese Drama - 2021, 30 episodes
Alternative, slightly smoother:
I enjoyed the second part, especially how he begged for her forgiveness. However, I didn’t like the ML’s behaviour in the first part, and SFL was really annoying. -
67. The Eternal Love
Chinese Drama - 2017, 24 episodes
Funny and features actors I like, but a little dull.
-
68. Miss Chun Is a Litigator
Chinese Drama - 2023, 20 episodes
I enjoyed the acting, especially from the FL and the SML. The drama itself was rather dull, with quite a few boring parts, and honestly, the FL had much better chemistry with the SML.
-
69. Plot Love
Chinese Drama - 2021, 24 episodes
The idea was good and it could’ve been much better, but both leads got on my nerves a bit — and the SFL even more so.
-
70. I’m a Pet at Dali Temple
Chinese Drama - 2018, 22 episodes
Solid performances from Hu Yi Xuan and Xu Kai Cheng, but the drama itself is rather forgettable. And that ending…
-
71. Step by Step Love
Chinese Drama - 2024, 28 episodes
The worst C-Drama I’ve seen so far. Perfectly forgettable and poorly executed.
