Unexpectedly, every story is related to the cases A Lai has handled and can even guide Alai in finding the key to solving the case. A Lai looked forward to Lu Na waking up more and more. A Lai was promoted and received a salary increase because of his merits in solving the case, but he also secretly made his enemies. A Lai discovered Luna’s secret through clues. When one of the comics was read, Lu Na woke up. The two are in love with each other, and A Lai’s enemies are also ready to take action. In the end, with the help of Lu Na, A Lai regained his peace and simplicity and his original intention of being a police officer. (Source: ChineseDramaWorld) Edit Translation

Reviews

Unique, Quirky, and GOOD!!
I had to write a review for this one as it will probably be under rated and it is worth its weight in gold so far. This cdrama stands out with it's unique storyline that has a dark whimsical vibe to it. It engages the viewer with each case that ties into the overall mystery between the ML and FL. The high quality of the cinematography and production value makes it seem more like a movie. I liked how they had different actors and actresses take on more lead like roles in each case story, the acting is well done and kudos for giving screen time to them. There is also dark humor sprinkled throughout the episodes that was done pretty well. There are some plot holes as it's in the mystery fantasy genre but it was acceptable to me as the good far outweighed the bad.The series is compact by Cdrama standards at 12 episodes, it seems to eliminate the long drag out meandering storylines that plague some of the CDramas with lots of episodes. I hope the CDrama industry will continue to take more risks in investing in unique and unconventional dramas like this.

Such a Thrilling Mystery Drama
From start to finish it story was brilliant. It's a well planed and very very eye catching drama. The visuals? Absolutely eye-catching. The colors, the vibes—it was all crazy. iQiyi really outdid themselves, crafting a show that’s gonna be remembered forever. The story hit that sweet spot with just the right mix of thrill and romance. Now, let’s talk about Angelababy. She really outdid herself with this one. Sure, she was “sleeping” for most of it, but when she was on screen? She delivered. Honestly, I prefer her acting here over her 2025 drama EL.
And the pacing? Wild. A new story almost every two episodes? That’s next-level. CiCi Wang—I gotta say, she turned me into a fan real quick with her role as a supporting character. She owned it. WAY, he was serving the entire time. His face card? Never declines. This drama? Unforgettable.
