By day, I’m a trained cancer biologist, by night, a Chinese drama watcher. I’ve been watching C-dramas since 2018, with Till the End of the Moon firmly holding the spot as my all-time favorite. My favorite Chinese drama and film director is Guo Jingming, and my favorite performers are Luo Yunxi and Bai Lu.

I also have a long list of other loves, including Wen Zhengrong, Wang Yinglu, Guan Yue, Yan Zixian, Lin Zehui, Li Yitong, Li Fei, Peng Xiaoran, Wang Duo, Hou Minghao, and Chen Duling. Wang Yuwen and Wang Anyu have recently caught my attention after I enjoyed several of their dramas. So, they sit somewhere on this list too. 

I leave commentary wherever I go, and for 2026, I’m intentionally scaling back on what I watch—focusing on finding true favorites and letting go of “okay” watches that don’t need to be finished.
