ꜰɪɴᴇ - shows/movies I liked

A list for shows I did enjoy,  but it just didn't feel right to include with the other list (link), due to one reason or another: either a few glaring issues I had with the shows/movies, or simply because they just didn't stick with me as much as the others despite not having any problems.

  • Eien no Kino

    1. Eien no Kino

    Japanese Drama - 2022, 8 episodes

Such an interesting way to paint grief in a story, I genuinely loved this series quite a lot and think it handled its story really beautifully. The reason it's on this list isn't because of any issues I have with it, but simply because it didn't stay in my mind as much. It was still great though.

  • Kimi no Koto Dake Mite Itai

    2. Kimi no Koto Dake Mite Itai

    Japanese Drama - 2022, 4 episodes

A short and sweet story that was great overall and had a really nice message/feel to it :> no issues, it was good

  • Kill Me, Heal Me

    3. Kill Me, Heal Me

    Korean Drama - 2015, 20 episodes

Ough...ok so this one. I did actually enjoy this show quite a bit. The big glaring issue is simple though: as expected out of a show about a DID system, it has a lot of parts that are just,, questionable or meh. I also didn't really care for the love story but I think that's very much a me thing (despite what my watchlist might make you believe lmao).

The acting was compelling when it came to the main roles (the alters in the system) and the trauma/deeper aspects were somewhat handled interestingly, imo. Overall I did end up loving this drama, but also I can't look past some things lmao.

  • Nagi no Oitoma

    4. Nagi no Oitoma

    Japanese Drama - 2019, 10 episodes

Nagi's Long Vacation was so interesting :00!!! not going to spoil but the conclusion to the story definitely made me like it a whole lot more (was stressing through the runtime bc of the love triangle cause I did not like that aspect lmao. But it ended up being handled well, which I was happy about :))

  • Kamisama no Ekohiiki

    5. Kamisama no Ekohiiki

    Japanese Drama - 2022, 8 episodes

Back to the case of "the show was great, just didn't stick with me as much as others in the previous list". The way Kamisama no Ekohiiki handled the plot was really cool and interesting tbh, I did expect to like it, but I was still pleasantly surprised nonetheless!!

  • Jack o' Frost

    6. Jack o' Frost

    Japanese Drama - 2023, 6 episodes

^^ yet another case of a great story I don't have issues with. It was great :3
