fantasy-action-court-melodrama with sword-wielding grim reapers guiding a man's soul through the seven trials of hell continues -- also backstories, finally, and dinosaurs! AND ma dong seok. i loved these a lot and i'm hoping to see it all continued!!

gonna be real with y'all i watched this on 3x speed only to see kim jae young getting either beaten up or beating someone else up (thanks tjfh brainrot). that aside, very bland movie. would've been nice to see the teens backstories. kim jae young however? fantastic, brilliant, meant for greatness, give him 500 daesangs

yeo jin goo crying scene enjoyers this one's another one to look out for!! i quite liked this -- absolutely not what you think it is but i think that made it even better. that twist had me shaking in the airplane seat omg

me watching plane disaster movie that is tense and where the passengers are in danger: oh god this is so tense and the passengers are in danger!!! also i just think he (im siwan playing deranged characters) is neat

this is really just the movie enactment of every paranoid person's worst case scenario during the time period that shall not be named. worth watching for the giant human garbage dump

a bright, chaotic ensemble comedy with some insanely cool hyper stylized action sequences (which i'm a big fan of) that is just such a blast to watch. so many bits that had me in stitches, especially one needle drop that was so unexpected i genuinely couldn't believe it. i NEED more of this

i guess people hated this and while it isn't the next sci fi masterpiece or whatever i just really enjoy dystopic settings and robots and whatnot (i'm actually 12). overall narrative was lacking for sure but the portrayal of the mother-daughter relationship was great.

a bit of snowpiercer with a lot more blatant real-life homage & overt zaniness than usual which worked for me at some points and didn't at others. still very classic BJH overall so i had some fun with it but it's not a favorite

hilarious action comedy! a family wins a trip to hawaii and gets entangled in a hijacking; chaos ensues, hidden identities are uncovered and kim nam gil somehow sleeps through the entire thing.

the chokehold kim young kwang has on me... this guy just has chemistry with anyone?? i didn't expect to be so to invested but damn. "this phantom life it sharpens like an image, but it sharpens like a knife!"

i'm such a sucker for quirky, unusual love stories involving the weirdest, strangest people ever and this was just that. who will buy me a tree?

if i hadn't made up an insane alternative dr romantic x first responders crossover universe in which an evil kim sabu meets jin ho gae in a prison then this probably would've been a lot less fun. great perfomances by han seok kyu and kim rae won though and the action was neat i guess.

two junhos!! for the price of one kind of boring movie. maybe it was script and directing but besides junho there was little that made this interesting to me

so fucked up (and so much fun) and just gets more and more insane, holding surprises until the very end. wild and gruesome, uniquely absurd and totally all over the place but that's exactly how i like it. i haven't really seen shin ha kyun in anything else other than like half of beyond evil but he was damn awesome in this. great camerawork too!

one of my favorite dystopian movies! fantastic screenplay and ensemble and also super rewatchable. a symbolic depiction of capitalism as chilling and harrowing as the one we live under.

we all know this one we've all seen it (if you haven't then what are you even doinggg), we all know that gong yoo and his little daughter ate and left no crumbs. and ofc ma dong seok stole the show!

very simple and straightforward premise but executed just right, despite the somewhat predictability of the story i was still on edge multiple times and also really like the way they snuck in some nice humorous moments. most importantly: the dog lives!

saw this ages ago at a sleepover uhhhh i think it was alright? due for a rewatch
