The Quiet Family” is the kind of movie that makes you laugh and feel nervous at the same time. Kim Jee woon’s direction perfectly balances dark humor and tension, and every bizarre situation that happens to the family feels absurd but still totally believable within the isolated inn setting. The characters are just charming enough you relate to their desperation and enjoy the mishaps as they try to hide the disasters that keep happening.
