  • Shine on Me

    1. Shine on Me

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 36 episodes

    ⤷  dropped.

༉‧₊˚.  after a few ep i got bored. i'm not really interested in the love triangle, i don't like any of the guys. i also was under the impression this would be set at university, since the first four eps are at uni. i love any story set in university so i was really excited to see the friendships evolve and change.  sadly, the story moves on from there very quickly and instead focuses on the relationship between zhao jinmai and the love interest. not my cup of tea

༉‧₊˚.  the dynamic between the lead is interesting, i've never seen a gl like this one, so i'm enjoying their banter. i cried so hard while watching the last few episodes... i don't want this series to end :( overall, i loved this so much!! i didn't like the special eps, i feel like they were completely unnecessary, but i liked the first 8 eps so i'm giving this a really high rating. the story was engaging, the acting was spectacular (felt like watching real-life couples instead of a tv show), it was shot beautifully and the vibes were immaculate, especially in the japan episodes. would def recommend!!

  • Reborn

    3. Reborn

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 23 episodes

    ⤷  dropped.

༉‧₊˚.  to be honest the setting was the best part. i liked the casting and i was really looking forward to see how this story would develop. the dynamic between mother and daugther was super interesting to see, especially bc i haven't watched many dramas that put a heavy focus on generational trauma and children having to bare so much responsability at a young age. sadly, i didn't find the mystery so gripping, after a few eps i got bored. i also liked the friendship between mcs but i didn't really feel any romantic connection. in the end i decided to drop it. a lot of potential, but i feel like it didn't really deliver.

  • The First Frost

    4. The First Frost

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 32 episodes

    ⤷  final rating.

༉‧₊˚.   i'll never recover from this series and i mean it. the way these characters touched me so deeply, i still think about them a year after my first watch.  i hope this year i find the courage to watch the last few eps and actually finish this one :(

  • Love's Ambition

    5. Love's Ambition

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 32 episodes

༉‧₊˚.  the start was so strong but i think i was expecting a different type of drama. i don't like how the male lead is treating her and i don't see any point continuing this.

  • Can This Love Be Translated?

    6. Can This Love Be Translated?

    Korean Drama - 2026, 12 episodes

    ⤷  dropped.

༉‧₊˚.   this had such a strong start!!!!! great acting, great filming and sets, great atmosphere overall. but the twist with do rami taking control of cha mu-hee doesn't work that well in my opinion, especially when we are talking about the interactions between her and the male leads. i don't really vibe with this change in concept at the very end of the show (ep8). i think if they wanted to delve more into mental-health, they should have established that more in the beginning, as one of the main elements of the show. throwing now did into the plot feels weird, especially because it feels like they are using it as a plot point to develop her relationship with the male leads - and not as a serious wake up call, that she needs help, and the people around her aren't noticing she's unwell. it feels like they don't care about mental health, or rather, they only care when it helps the love triangle; otherwise, they don't. sad to see. the end result is very chaotic tbh.

  • Be My Angel

    7. Be My Angel

    Thai Drama - 2026, 8 episodes

༉‧₊˚.  the editing is atrocious, oh my. i hate all the sound-effects, i think i have never seen a show with so many sound effects. and the acting too is a bit meh. i'm not interested anymore so im stopping here.

  • I Wanna Be Sup'tar

    8. I Wanna Be Sup'tar

    Thai Drama - 2026, 8 episodes

    ⤷  dropped.

༉‧₊˚.  this was really promising but tbh the last ep (3) ruined it for me. i thought this was campy, but the fact they included a scene where once of the mcs kisses the other while she is unconcious after being assaulted (!!!) and never apologized or recognized it was wrong, felt so off. it feels they want to use abuse as a plot point and nothing more. so sad to say this, but when a show promises to be 'unserious and camp' it should stick to that. the writing failed atrociously.

  • Unveil: Jadewind

    9. Unveil: Jadewind

    Chinese Drama - 2026, 34 episodes

    ⤷  final rating.

༉‧₊˚.   really liking bai lu's acting, this is my first drama with her as a mc, she's great. i love plots that cneter around vengeance (see my beloved, aka the double). i'm really liking the mystery aspect. tbh this is really good. the only thing pissing me off is the ai editing in the opening and the credits - they could've hired an artist to draw that.

  • Girl from Nowhere

    10. Girl from Nowhere

    Thai Drama - 2018, 13 episodes

    8.5

    ⤷  8.5.

༉‧₊˚. finishing this after putting it 'on hold' for years. i remember how much i loved the first few eps and it's a shame that my anxiety made it so hard for me to finish this series. i have fond memories of nanno, as well as nightmares lol. i really liked how this season was shot and executed. the idea behind nanno, an entity punishing evil people left and right, is very creative and it makes the story so engaging (she seems young, but she actually knows a lot more than we as viewers do). my only qualm with this is the endless introductions to nanno, they are all pretty similar and we as viewers already know who she is so the first few minutes of each ep can get boring. overall, enjoyable and very thought-provoking.

  • Girl from Nowhere Season 2

    11. Girl from Nowhere Season 2

    Thai Drama - 2021, 8 episodes

    7.0

    ⤷  7.

༉‧₊˚.  the direction in this new season is completely different. it doesn't surprise me to see new names in the list of directors. the idea is cool, but after a while it can get stale - i'm glad they are keeping things fresh (no nanno introductions, most eps start with the ending instead of the beginning, new characters introduced). this had a very strong start (see ep 3) but it lost itself towards the middle, i wonder why?  maybe it's the fact that yuri doesn't have a real reason to be alongside nanno - i don't get why nanno saved her and why they are supposedly working together rn. i wish the stakes were higher and we could have seen the reason why nanno chose to save her and become partners. some eps are really strong, others not so much. the ending was atrocious, that's all im going to say.

  • Boyfriend on Demand

    12. Boyfriend on Demand

    Korean Drama - 2026, 10 episodes

    8.0

    ⤷  8.

"maybe goodbyes aren't as bad as we think."

༉‧₊˚.   jisoo carried this!! seeing jisoo on screen is great, she has a charm to her, i don't know how to describe it. the chemistry w the male lead was amazing, they did such a good job w casting and the the actors with the acting!! i really loved the slow burn and the way they feel for each other :( <3  the writing was a bit meh, especially in the first few eps (any ep that was ai-centered had a lot of moments that made no sense imo).  the special effects are awful, considering the budget they had (this being a netflix production) it's disappointing to say the least... not a perfect show by any means but really enjoyable.
