Realizing your parents sacrifice with tears of regret

This list has no particular order. They are my favorite deep moments of regret, sorrow, and recognition when a child finally understand the sacrifices their parents made for them.

1. Our Unwritten Seoul. Then moment when Miji and Mirae's discovers why her mother took her out of that home so many years ago was wonderfully caught in her mother's moment of lucidity. OF course, Hi-Soo's Mother. When Hi-Soo dinally felt worth of his mother's love. This felt a little dragged out, but that moment when she leans into him and reminds him that Hi-Soo was the one that saved him, was just right. Hi-Soo's tears was from that deep painful place of Han and Jeong. 

2. When Life Gives You Tangerines. This seems obvious, and it is. The sacrifices are so clear, but the one I want to highlight is the moment when Lee Jun  Young's mother finally understands the painful sacrifices she forced onto her son. 

3. Was It Love. When the actor Song Ji-hyo's daughter realizes the sacrifices her mother made and the pain caused by Son Ho-jun's character, the anger she feels for her mother is powerful. Then, once she realizes that her parent's love is undeniable and now she was the cause of her mother's pain. It is a beautiful moment when she let's her mother know that she will not stand between them, that moment when both the daughter and the mother understand what each has lost and found. It was a beautiful moment.

4. Vincenzo. Seems like a odd choice, but the moment when Vincenzo meets his mother for the first time is exactly the kind of tearful moment I am talking about. 

5. Family By Choice. The father's sacrifice is undeniable, but when both boys confront their deep fears of being unwanted and undeserving, it is the father who fights for all three of them, and the moment each of the realize it, it is heart breaking.

6. Replay 1988. There are so many moments. The kids center the Kdrama but the parents are the heart and foundation of the entire series
