Every Drama I've Watched

Overall, this was a very feel-good show. I had watched a video with the couple, to which the whole movie was basically summed up in 10 minutes. Although everything was basically spoiled, I decided to give it  a watch because I was in the mood for a Japanese movie. I thought the premise and the relationship was adorable. I appreciated how genuine and supportive her friends were. However, I wasn't a huge fan of the female lead. I understood she was flustered all of the time and was a people pleaser, but it got to be a little too much. She'd be having a conversation with another character, specifically Setoyama, and just sit there and not say anything back. It was painfully awkward at times. I even thought the movie had stopped at one point because of her lengthy silence. This movie definitely wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing either. What primarily kept be going was the attractive male lead! I'll say that this movie is a guilty pleasure movie that has low stakes so you're not constantly stressed or on edge. It was a very cozy watch.

**MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!**

THIS MOVIE MADE ME ABSOLUTELY SOB. I don't think any other cinematic work has made me cry so genuinely. My philosophy is this: they're fictional characters that aren't actually real people. But this movie totally trashed and annihilated that idea. I decided to watch this movie because I saw a cute FMV of it. Unlike the last movie I watched because of this reason, I was totally blind-sighted. In the other movie's case, I basically knew everything that happened within the 10 minute edit. However, 20th Century Girl was the exact opposite. I got just enough in the edit to spur an interest. I was definitely and absolutely murdered by the ending. WHY DID WOONHO HAVE TO DIE?! THERE WAS NO REASON FOR IT TO END THAT WAY.  The movie does start off with Bora Woonho-less, but I figured something that wasn't death was a culprit. I was hoping and praying that the beginning wasn't as it seemed. There was about 16 minutes left in the move and I was like, "we'll surely see him again!" Besides this fact, I loved how this movie built up a solid relationship in such a short amount of time. I loved how each and every character was selfless, loyal, and how kind they were. I deeply and thoroughly and entirely LOVED Woonho and Bora. I don't think anyone can beat their love story. I don't think I've ever felt so strongly about a film. As much as I'd like to watch it again, I don't think I'd be physically able to. This movie 100% destroyed me.

* Repetitive concepts

* Pacing issues

What I loved:

* Sun Jae's character (the boring male lead syndrome wasn't applicable)

* Sol and Sun Jae's perfect chemistry

* Seeing the characters' behavior and the different outcomes throughout the different timelines

* The pure vibes of the show

Long story short, I had a lot of critiques of this show. A large chunk of this show was so slow, and the ending felt rushed. Despite this, I can't find it in my heart to give it a lower rating. Am I biased? Yes, most likely, but I don't care. I like the way this drama made me feel, and I adored the cast and set.
