This is a list of my all time fav Asian BLs (except Thai, bcoz Thailand has produced uncountable amount of bls a year to include even half of them in a short list🫠) which had almost all of these elements✨:• well written characters• well written plot with substance• good angst• good scriptwriting• well directed/produced• emotional rollercoaster• beautifully & sensually executed nc/kiss scenes, etc... 🫶🏻
Started watching during end of summer 2023 (probably between June - September)Almost everything is here, i might have missed a (very) few series/movie series i missed are most probably japanese (eg. Alice in borderland, i watched it long ago but added recently). Ascending order of watch, most likely accurate, might not be in order for first 20 series. Created the list on 8th Oct 2024, will keep adding into it going forward. Had to create this list due to changes in Toby (extension)first 93, i watched them in viewasian .(zz)co but the site then shutdown unexpectedly. 94- 109 were watched in kissasian .(zz)vip. always streams slow so I couldnt take it and searched for newer website110 - 204 in viewasian .(zz)ac. website went down and it was blocked by indian govt205 - 211 in kissasian .(zz)vip. after 211, viewasian website started working again212 - 263 in viewasian .(zz)ac later, website was not updating with new episodes/dramas so looked for different sources like dramacool .(zz)pro.inFurther different websites were used for new and recently ended drama from ~end of november 2024 (reason: most of the previously used websites stopped updating;; I even watched squid games s2 around 1st jan on Netflix)Found kisskh .(zz)co, definitely usefulentries 301-316 were added on 21 Jan 2025 after tallying the watched list to this list, i watched most of these 15 shows sometime in 2024 (there is still 1 show missing from this custom list, {317 in conpleted VS 316 in this list}pfff, i'll find it and add it later)401'st item in list Our unwritten Seoul finished on 6 July 2025Finished #533 Idol I, the same day last episode aired (27 Jan 2026)Wah! now i'm watching Perfect crown as it is airing, started watching from release date of 3rd ep. My Period Chinese, Taiwanese & Hong Kongese dramas PTW List. This list will include all sorts of period dramas; Historical, Wuxia, Xianxia, Xuanhuan. Within historicals, it will also include Fantasy, & Minguo (Chinese Republican Era) dramas as well. Dramas that have a mix of contemporary and period theme will be included only if most of the story takes place in the period setting. Douban ratings are mentioned in each show's description. I believe in douban more than MDL (MDL is just infested by Kdrama lovers and idol drama fans that ignore all the good and well made cdramas.) I consider 6.5 and above rating to be good, but at times shows rated below that also surprise me. I keep such shows if they are better rated here plus if the premise is intriguing.
