Period CH | TW | HK Dramas PTW

My Period Chinese, Taiwanese & Hong Kongese dramas PTW List. This list will include all sorts of period dramas; Historical, Wuxia, Xianxia, Xuanhuan. Within historicals, it will also include Fantasy, & Minguo (Chinese Republican Era) dramas as well. Dramas that have a mix of contemporary and period theme will be included only if most of the story takes place in the period setting. 

Douban ratings are mentioned in each show's description. I believe in douban more than MDL (MDL is just infested by Kdrama lovers and idol drama fans that ignore all the good and well made cdramas.) I consider 6.5 and above rating to be good, but at times shows rated below that also surprise me. I keep such shows if they are better rated here plus if the premise is intriguing.
