Korean LGBT+ Main & Side Characters/Romances

LGBT+ representation in K-Dramas (and also Korean movies, but mainly K-Dramas) is few and far between. That's why I decided to make this list. There is progression, and though it's very slow, I want to highlight Korea specifically for taking steps in the right direction.I'll put a few movies on here. But mostly just dramas. My Japanese LGBT+ List: https://kisskh.at/list/3bgDg7k4Recommended Resources for Indie/Hard-to-Find Queer Korean Content: Strongberry (on YouTube). They mainly make short films, but they're generally high quality.GagaOOLala. If a Korean LGBT+ short film can't be found on YouTube, it's probably here. The Beginning: https://kisskh.at/profile/8835865/feeds/dKnbZSBMilestone #1: https://kisskh.at/profile/8835865/feeds/4WvWRCAMilestone #2: https://kisskh.at/profile/8835865/feeds/470jzET7Milestone #3: https://kisskh.at/profile/MademoiselleNoir/feeds/3mezXniMMilestone #4: https://kisskh.at/profile/MademoiselleNoir/feeds/PxeY0jIgNote: In a specific order.Disclosure: I, myself, am Bi Ace (Biromantic Asexual)This list is not just for me, by the way. It's for all of you guys! And you're more than welcome to leave suggestions in the form of a comment or even send me a message, regardless of whether we are friends or not. Will contain spoilers, at least regarding a character's sexuality/gender. May or may not contain other spoilers; I will attempt to keep it just to what is related to the rep. You have been warned!

Japanese LGBT+ Main & Side Characters/Romances

You have @River Cloud to thank for this existing.LGBT+ representation in J-Dramas (and also Japanese movies but mainly J-Dramas) is few and far between. That's why I decided to make this list. But mostly just dramas. In an order.First Post: https://kisskh.at/profile/8835865/feeds/22D50TANote: Normally on my lists I will put links/directions to where you can find a title. However, this being Japan, finding legal sites or even fansubbers can be next to impossible. So, sorry if I sometimes just have to leave you with the ambiguous "can be found on free websites" as I don't want these options to no longer be available. Japan just has to make things difficult!Subs PSA: DO NOT RUIN A GOOD THING FOR EVERYONE AND REPOST SOMEONE ELSE'S SUBS! YOU CAN DIRECT PEOPLE TO THESE RESOURCES BUT DO NOT REUPLOAD SHIT!Disclosure: I, myself, am BiAce (Biromantic Asexual)This list is not just for me by the way. It's for all of you guys! Best Male Actor in Short Dramas

Chinese short dramas—brief, two-to-three-minute gems stretched over 50 to 80 episodes—have created a new kind of storytelling magic. And at the heart of that magic are the men: actors who steal your breath with a look, a pause, a whispered word. These leading men don’t just play roles—they embody them. From ancient dynasties to modern high-rises, they appear as loyal generals, cunning CEOs, betrayed lovers, or humble scholars. In each role, they deliver more with a glance than others do in pages of dialogue. It’s their subtle expressions of love, passion, hate, betrayal, and revenge that pull you in. A slight tilt of the head, a flicker of pain behind the eyes, a half-smile that breaks your heart—these are the moments we return for. They don’t act for applause; they act for impact.I’ve seen them on TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Dailymotion, and on apps that specialize in these dramas. Wherever they appear, their performances leave a mark.Yes, they’re beautiful—but it’s more than that. They bring depth, grace, and intensity that stays with you. Whether they’re wrapped in hanfu or business suite, their presence is timeless. In the sections to come, I’ll highlight each actor who’s caught my attention—sharing the first drama I saw them in, and my thoughts on what makes them unforgettable. These aren’t just actors. They are emotion made visible, and they deserve to be remembered.
