Da Ya is a Taiwanese singer, actress, and TV hostess. She graduated from the Performing Arts Department of Huagang Arts School (華岡藝校) and was initially a member of the rap group Underground Kingdom (地下國度). She later joined the BlackGirl (黑Girl) group as one of its first-generation members and served as its leader, appearing on the television show I "Love Blackie "(我愛黑澀會).

In 2010, Da Ya left BlackGirl after signing with Legend Star Entertainment (傳奇星娛樂). After her contract ended in 2014, she moved to Chongganqing Creative Studio (重感情創意工作室) and shifted her focus to acting in dramas in 2015.

In June 2023, Da Ya accused Chen Jian Zhou (陳建州), the head of her former agency, of sexual harassment, claiming he entered her hotel room late at night on July 18, 2012. Chen denied the allegations, initially filed a lawsuit, but later switched to a criminal complaint. In December 2023, the Taipei District Prosecutors' Office stated that there was sufficient evidence to support Da Ya’s claims and decided not to press charges against her.
