Li Jing is a Chinese actress, born in Kangping County of Liaoning Province. Her entry into a lifetime acting career began at the age of 14 when she took the student recruitment examination at Kangping County Theatre Troupe. In 1982, she made her debut appearance with "Climbing Family" and won the second prize for individual performance. She became popular overnight for her role as "Da La Jiao" in the TV series "Liu Lao Gen".
