Before debuting, he had a brief traineeship at DSP Media during that time where he met future fellow groupmate Hwarang, who was also a trainee at the same company.
He then joined Yuehua Entertainment (위에화엔터테인먼트코리아) and made his debut in March 2022 as TEMPEST's main vocalist with the mini-album "It's Me, It's We".
They debuted in Japan in April 2024 with the mini-album "Bang!".
