He made his debut in 2011 as part of the 26th open recruitment for comedians at KBS, as the top candidate. He immediately earned a spot in "Gag Concert" and slowly began participating in more sketches.
When the show was cancelled, he began working as a host and also had minor roles in a few dramas. He opened a YouTube channel called "MuMuMu" with senior comedian Song Young Gil.
He returned to KBS when "Gag Concert" was brought back for season 2.
He is currently represented by G&M Media (지앤미디어).
