She made her debut in 2005 as part of the 31st open recruitment for announcers at KBS. She hosted the KBS News at 9 for 4 years between 2008 and 2012 before retiring due to the birth of her son. She returned to the network in late 2013 and hosted several programs and news broadcasts until mid-2016 when she went on another break due to the birth of her second son.
She came back in early 2017 and began hosting economic and cultural shows for KBS before deciding to quit in March 2019 to become a freelancer.
She now serves as the director for the General Paik Sun Yup Memorial Business Association and hosts several shows for Channel A and TV Chosun.
