Novelist. He was part of writer group called "Buraiha", which we can compare to people, promoting decadent lifestyle. After suicidal death of his friend, and his great inspiration, poet Osamu Dazai, Hidemitsu become addicted to sleeping pills. In 1949 , he first stabbed his cohabiting partner due to a delusion caused by drug addiction. And then he took 300 tablets of sleeping pill and cut his left wrist, at the Dazai's grave. He died soon after, at age 36, leaving behind also his ex- wife, children, and unpublished works. Edit Biography
