He is a former member of the Johnny's Entertainment group Ya-Ya-yah. He officially resigned from the agency in November 30, 2007.
Ayukawa entered Johnny's Entertainment in December of 2002. He was then added to the group Ya-Ya-yah at its formation. Taiyo is arguably best known for his impressive height- in fact, he was the tallest member of Johnny's Entertainment, despite being among the younger members. As of November 30, 2007, Taiyou has officially quit Johnny's Entertainment. It has been rumored that Taiyou hasn't actually quit Johnny's, but rather he is focusing more on his studies.
