Lim Yoon Taek was a South Korean singer-songwriter and member of ULALA SESSION (울랄라세션). He attended Seoul Institute of the Arts but could not complete his degree in Broadcasting Entertainment. The university later awarded him a posthumous honorary degree.

He made his debut in November 2011 with the single "With You" but for a long time, the band was not well-known in South Korea as it was abroad. They decided to participate in the singing competition "Superstar K 3" where they quickly gained popularity and also the sympathy of the viewers when he revealed he was suffering from cancer. People thought his cancer was fake in order to gain more votes on the show until he brought his doctor on TV to confirm the diagnosis.

ULALA SESSION eventually won the competition and went on to more appearances on Korean television. Unfortunately, he passed away at the age of 32 at Yonsei University Severance Hospital in February 2013, after battling stomach cancer. He was married and had one daughter born in 2012.
