Han Shin Young, known professionally as Yel, is a South Korean singer, dancer and member of H1-KEY (하이키). She attended Jinhae Girls’ High School but dropped out to pursue her dream of becoming a singer.

Before debuting, she spent 3 years as a trainee, including time at JYP Entertainment and at S.D.K Academy.

She made her debut in January 2022 as the group's main dancer, vocalist, rapper and maknae with their first single album, "Athletic Girl". They are managed by Grandline Group (그랜드라인 그룹, often shortened to GLG).
