So!YoON!
- Name: So!YoON!
- Native name: 황소윤
- Also Known as: So Yoon, So Yun, Hwang So Yun
- Nationality: South Korean
- Gender: Female
- Born: May 23, 1997
- Age: 28
She began posting songs on Youtube and Facebook when she was 18. At the same time, she decided to form a band and began looking for musicians. In 2016, she created the indie rock band SE SO NEON (which literally means "new kids" or "new boys"). The name came after she found an old copy of a defunct children's magazine called "Sae So Nyeon" in a bookstore.
She became the vocalist and lead guitarist of the band and was joined by 2 other members, making their debut with their first EP, "Summer Plumage", in October 2017. They won Rookie of the Year and Best Rock Song at the 2018 Korean Music Awards. The band was originally managed by Bungabunga Records (붕가붕가 레코드) before control was transferred to Magic Strawberry Sound (매직스트로베리사운드) in 2018.
The band faced lineup changes at the end of that year when the male members had to enlist for their mandatory service. She auditioned several musicians before choosing their replacements in early 2019.
By 2022, she also began promoting as a solo artist under the stage So!YoON! and the band saw the departure of a member. The contract with Magic Strawberry ended in 2024, and the bassist left in early 2025, leaving her as the only active musician in the band.
In February 2025, she announced she was moving to the United States to continue her career there.
