She made her debut in 2009 as part of the 24th open recruitment for comedians at KBS. She immediately earned a role in "Gag Concert" but was seen by the audience as just another "pretty face". She tried to break the prejudice of the audience in a similar way her senior Kim Ji Min did by creating her own gags that have nothing to do with her appearance. She now has a good reputation and is considered not only a beautiful comedienne, but also a talented one.
In 2014, she made her acting debut with a role in the drama "Cheongdamdong Scandal". In 2019, she decided to try trot music as it was her dream to become a trot singer since she was younger. She was a contestant in "Miss Trot Season 1".
She host a radio show with fellow trot singer Han Kang since 2021 and she also has her Youtube channel.
