Before debuting, he was enrolled in Fashion Design but quickly realized he did not enjoy this career. He enlisted for his mandatory military service on August 7, 2006, and was discharged on July 26, 2008. After serving, he opted to drop out of college and decided to pursue a career as a comedian.
He made his debut in 2012 as part of the 27th open recruitment for comedians at KBS and became part of "Gag Concert" until the show's cancellation in 2020. Then, he worked with other comedians on their YouTube channels and with Lee Chang Ho as a singing-comedy duo. He is represented by Meta Comedy (메타코미디).
